EPSON C900 Status Monitor

Epson C900 works with my new computer which has Windows 7, but has no Status Monitor (he did when I used XP). So when the red light flashes, no way of knowing what the problem is. Epsom don't say, 'no status monitor compatible with Windows 7 '.

If Epson provides no win7 specific drivers for this printer, then it means its using the built in default win drivers and they don't provide all the features of your printer

    Kind regards

Currently, only the SYSADMIN user has this privilege.

If you need 3 users to do so. You have to follow below:

    1. log in as user SYSADMIN.

    2. process management Web application > administrator > Administration

    3. update the current value "Workflow system administrator" of SYSADMIN to responsibility - example - "Workflow administrator Web Application.

    4. Save.

    5. now connect and go to security > user > define the shape in the application. Question 3 a users and ensure the responsibility of "Workflow administrator Web Application".

    6. test by logging in as a user 3 and responsibility, go now and try to search in the status monitor. They should have the privilege now.

    Mark as correct if resolved.

  • BPM workflow status monitor

    Hello

In Oracle Workflow, we are able to go back, start, jumping activities via the status monitor. These features are available in the suite BPM 11?

When I have both look E.M and google it, I found the document Oracle named "Migration of Oracle BPM from Oracle Workflow", but unfortunately once again I'm not able to find advice on how to update the payload (wf attributes) of a process instance, go back to the previous step, try again jump the current step. Can you please share any document or advice for these issues to fully apply the admin wf features in wf State control.  Also is it possible to integrate two applications of task list for workflow and bpm work in a common autonomous ADF task list page?

    Umit salvation,

Don't think that you will find the answers you need here, but Oracle BPM will be able to similar things you're used to doing with your existing Oracle Workflow product.  Try not you sell on Oracle BPM - just going through your list here, that's what I think you'll find:

    • Monitor status that allows to rewind, retry, ignore the activities - the closest thing that oracle BPM has a status monitor is its end-users, workspace.  There is a way (buried in the human task) to move from one activity.  Not sure how the feature 'Retry' and 'rewind' Oracle of the workflow works.  The only feature that Oracle BPM has similar to this is his feature "Alter Flow" Antonis you has given in his first answer for you.  This will allow you to anywhere that you want in the process move work items.  If you do not follow this path, you have to model in this feature in your process.
    • Integrate the Workspace task list in a user interface of ADF - Yes, it's possible - see this link - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E28280_01/user.1111/e15175/bpmug_ws_taskflows.htm#BPMUG20850.
    • Ignore the rules defined in EBS - activity for any holiday you can create holiday rules, but that they are defined in the Oracle BPM workspace, and it is not usually used to pass a task.  Users can set up rules of holiday within the workspace to indicate who take their work items while he is on vacation.

  • Status monitoring

    Hello

I have a problem with my monitor (model Hp L194OT): when I turn it on, a message is displayed (the system state) and will not disappear (usually this message disappears after a few seconds). Also does not have the button "menu".

    Hello @suleaspataru,

I understand that you are having problems with your HP L1940T 19 inch LCD monitor displaying messages about the State of the system and that the menu button does not work. I provided you with a few steps, you can try below:

Step 1. Unplug the power cord at the back of the screen and the wall
Step 2. Press and hold the power button for at least a minute
Step 3. Plug the power cable in the monitor, and then to the wall outlet (not a power bar or surge protector)
Step 4. Press the Menu button on the monitor
Step 5. Navigate to the factory reset option and select
Step 6. Try different cables between your computer and your monitor.

If the steps above did not resolve your issue, you can try the monitor on a computer or other device to see if the problem persists. Please contact our technical support at the 800-474-6836. • Simple server status monitor (online/offline)

    Hello.

Is there a rule + agent to SIMPLY follow the status of a server?

I want an email if the server reboots, for example.

It comes to vFoglight 6.7 PRO.

    Thank you!!!

It is a rule of change of State of power, but not outside the area of availability (which intercepts not reset).  I can look at to create a more later this month.  Who would be the most beneficial would be OS uptime + uptime of the virtual machine to see if changes.

  • HP F4580 - disable status monitor

Is there a way to disable ink level alert/warning that appears whenever I connect?  The ink is low but I do not print a lot so I'm not going to change the cartridge up to what its empty.  The alert is so boring and tedious.

Yes you can, but you will need to uninstall and reinstall the software and driver. After the download is complete, it will ask you what you want alerts of ink to make it appear, and you choose which.

  • Epson TX600FW "printer is not ready."

I just new Epson Stylus Office TX600FW. Have installed the disc that came with the device. Tried to test the printing, BUT get a small window titled 'Epson Printer Status Monitor 3 "with the message - 'printer is not ready to print'. And he adds "check all connections and make sure all devices are on." To cancel printing, click the [Cancel] button. "And it also shows"Ink levels"and ink icons that all seem to be grey, however, already installed new cartridges Epson genuine - that present as being full when checked in the Epson device information panel.

Have also tried to reinstall the driver from the Epson site download - all still does not.

    Hi Dianne,

This behavior can occur because of corrupt drivers, incompatible drivers, if the print spooler service is not started, because of problems with the printer and the printer, missing updates settings.

  • Have no status levels monitor/ink on my Epson Stylus Photo 1400 inkjet

My computer operating system is MS XP Pro and my Epson ink jet is connected directly to a USB port. All the other features of my printer works fine, as was my "Status Monitor" (all my cartridge showing ink levels) until recently. Epson by phone and online could only tell me that there is a conflict in my system (such as with newly updated antivirus software) that is causing the problem. I miss the ability to determine when I need to change a cartridge.
At at - he experienced this or a similar problem?

You use Epson ink or 3rd party refills? If you do not use genuine inks, this feature may not work.

If you use genuine inks and then go to the Epson website and download drivers full version, if it's too complicated, uninstall the Epson software and reinstall from the original disk.

A call back to Epson says my Windows Firewall blocks printing Epson Status Monitor and by disabling the firewall every thing returns to normal.  Turning on the firewall without exception is still no difference and I should contact Microsoft for that matter.

If the application works when the firewall is disabled, but not when the firewall is turned on, so you must create an exception for the application.

I don't know what you mean by "turning on the firewall without exceptions still makes no difference" - no difference of what?

You must determine the name of print Epson Status Monitor, then go to control panel > Windows Firewall (if your control panel is using "Category view", you will find Windows Firewall in the Security Center).

Once in the Firewall dialog box, click the Exceptions tab, click the button "Add a program" and find printing Epson Status Monitor.  If it is not in the list that appears, click on the button "Browse".  After selecting the program and click OK, make sure that on the general tab of the Firewall properties dialog box that the "do not allow the box exceptions" is NOT checked.

  • Epson 1280 printer not shared in XP Mode

I just upgraded from Vista 32 to Win 7 64 (clean install) with only a few problems (love Win 7!)  but I'll limit this post for a particular problem:

I have two printers installed: HP Laserjet 1020 and Epson 1280 ink jet. I have CreataCard installed in XP Mode and it works fine. In the USB tab, I left the printers in sharing mode (both present, the HP is labeled with its full name, the Epson is labeled with only "USB Printer" - perhaps an idea of the problem?)  I can print on printer HP of CreataCard but not for the Epson printer. If I first start XP Mode and exit the "USB Printer" sharing mode, then CreataCard can print on it (an extra step).

Additional information: the Epson printer is not displayed on the page "Devices and printers" and yet it appears in the print dialog box when you print a document directly from an application Win 7.

I have CreataCard on the Windows 7 Desktop icon and it launches CreataCard full screen just the way I want it - and - it prints right out of the HP printer without intermediate action by me. I would like the same capacity for the Epson printer.

Question: What can I do to allow the use of the Epson printer in XP-Mode programs sharing mode?

    Thanks, Bob423

PS, in system Informaton - printer, the Epson 1280 appears on the port USB002 and made the right description, ' Epson Stylus Photo 1280 (M). Printers HP LaserJet appears on the port USB001. When I try not to print with the Epson printer in share mode (labeled as "USB Printer" in the dialog USB but corrected labeled as Epson 1280 in the CreataCard printer dialog box) I get an error message "Epson Status Monitor 3: Communication error". To get rid of him, I have to start the Task Manager and stop the Epson Status Monitor application.

Well, I found the answer! The Epson 1280 was not assigned a port TS in XP Mode even if the HP printer has been (TS001). The solution was to open the "printers and faxes" in XP Mode, click on "Add a printer", click 'Next', "Local printer attached to this computer" option but be sure clear a check mark (if any) in "automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer", then click on 'Next', under "use the following port", select one of the ports of TS. Because on my computer port TS001 has been used by the HP printer, I selected the TS002 port, then click on 'Next', select your printer driver and install. Just for good measure, I allowed the printer to share, but I don't think it was necessary. The printer will now appear in the "Printers and faxes" page as "Ready", which he did not before. The HP printer has always appeared as "Ready". The programs I run in XP Mode can now print to the printer Epson on TS002 without having to "join" the printer from the USB tab at the top of the window of the XP Mode. I've seen other messages that you may need to try trial and error to find the ports TS used by Win 7 to share printers in XP Mode. I only had a single printer to match, but if you have several printers with the same problem, it can be tedious but you only to have for once. There is no indication in the window "Select a port" as to what Win 7 printer is assigned to what TS port, you have to guess and try to print a test page to see if you guessed correctly. Of course, if the manufacturer has successfully written the driver Win 7, you wouldn't have this problem (the Win 7 HP for the 1020 driver worked perfectly, the Epson driver was listed as Vista 64-bit, not having said anything about support for Windows 7).

I always get a communication error of the Epson Status Monitor when sending a print job to the printer, but then begin printing and I can then simply X out the Status Monitor window without problem. I guess it takes a few seconds before the communication is established and the Status Monitor allows not enough time. So I still an extra step of X on the error window, but all still prints (even if I don't have X window) - so I'll take that as a step forward.

Now I can now put a shortcut to the CreataCard program on my Win 7 desktop that will automatically open in XP Mode with no further action required by me (except X'ing by the Status Monitor error window when you print a job). The next task is to find how to prevent the error window Status Monitor to come.

    I guess that progress.

  • Cannot print with Epson 3880 LR3

I'm more able to print with LR3 on my Epson 3880.  I have printed a lot of pictures on this topic in the past and when I tried to print on this issue in the last weeks, I go through the normal process on my Mac Pro with Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and everything seems normal.  LR3 treats the photos and the Epson icon appears in my bar jobs and it shows the work as having been completed - but nothing prints.  The computer is of the view that he published with success my photos.

I tried to delete and add the printer, but that did not help.  I also tested my connection through the Epson Status Monitor.  I can print a test page with this utility and check that he had to clean the print head.  The computer seems to be able to talk to the printer, but it will not print photos.

Another thing that seems a little unusual is that I can choose a specific color to use for my specific photo paper profile, but I can't find is no longer the setting in the printer driver that says "turn off color management."

I checked the update of the software twice, and I have the latest updates installed.

I'm stuck and need to print photos for the family.  Any suggestions are appreciated!

    Don

Tip: Let NOT the Mac OS system updates ever update the Epson print drivers or you could find yourself in the original situation. Always install or update the drivers directly from Epson. I had a similar problem, as you point out, had to reset the printing system and install the Epson driver. Everything was fine until I leave the Apple system update install what felt to Apple has been upgraded to the driver, then hell is lost.
