Telepresence peripheral infrastructure of AutoSave

I am looking for an option Save my devices of Infrastructure of telepresence automatically at regular intervals.

Unfortunately the TMS does not support the slot machines.

MCU 8510

TS 8710

IDSN GW

Conductor

We have these huge and manual backup is not easy.

One possible method would be useful.

You can automatically save the 8510 MCU and TS 8710 using supervisor blade, it saves on the card compact flash.  This is controlled from the supervisor's Web page, select the blade MSE and save then option.  If your ISDN GW is a blade MSE, you might be able to do the same.

No reviews for Condcutor, sorry.

  • Collaboration and telepresence Solution

    Hi people,

I would ask you recommendations on how we implement the solution that we offer for the customer.

    • The client have existing CUCM running version 10.x
    • Cisco IP phones and Polycom video settings are saved on the CUCM for call control

We have offered and introduce a solution of Collaboration Edge/MRA and integrate the system existing.

The solution consists of new telepresence video infrastructure and endpoints:

    • Cisco Core Expressway
    • The highway from Cisco
    • Cisco TMS/TMSPE
    • Cisco Telepresense servers
    • Conductor of Cisco Telepresence
    • Cisco Telepresence Content Server
    • Cisco SX Series (to be placed on the existing CUCM) endpoints

There are two options that came out in my mind, how to integrate these new infra to the existing.

1 CUCM will take all the call control and integrate all of these new infrastructures (managers, telepresence servers, TCS)

2 expressway Core (VCSC) will take control of calls for drivers, the telepresence servers, TCS and create between VCSC and CUCM SIP trunk.

What is the best option? Need your recommendations.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Yes, you can create a SIP of CUCM trunk to Trade Commissioner as explained in the following guide

TMS, the backup is very easy. It's the best way to go. Don't always plan you a backup in TMS, but it is easy to make a backup of the configuration of all devices at the same time from a single interface. Very convenient. Typically, telepresence (especially infrastructure) hardware configuration changes usually very often. Not as much as a server, for example, is generally safe for backup systems whenever you made a configuration change. And, as we all know, those who are not always "regular" but are in response to an event or a directive. So that's how the TMS is structured.

If you use not TMS you could theoretically use either a client PCS to log on to the VCS root account and make a copy of the config.db file. But you should allow access for root account on the logon server, and it's maybe a little more risk that it is worth. You can probably also set up a SSH connection (safer) and the capture of text runs the xconfig command in the CLI. But at the point where you set up this that automated programming, you might as well do a manual backup.

Remember that you do not want to save the VCS if something changed that you do not want to keep! Unlike a server, it is not dynamic data stored in the database of real configuration on the system. It's just the settings information.

    Hope that helps.

  • Configuration of the firewall Cisco Telepresence MCU 5320

    Hi all.

I searched all the documents of the MCU again, but I found nothing on the ports it uses.

    Help me

HI Sandra.  The 5320 MCU is the same as 4500 MCU.

    Incoming ports
    • FTP - TCP:21 + transient (dynamic rather than fixed) used TCP ports for passive mode
    • HTTP - TCP:80
    • HTTPS - TCP:443
    • H.323 - TCP:1720 + ephemeral TCP ports for incoming calls
    • SNMP - UDP:161
    • Outgoing calls to H.323 involve ephemeral ports TCP connections TCP TCP:1720 and a certain number of ephemeral TCP ports
    • Outgoing SIP TCP calls involve connections between the TCP ephemeral ports and TCP:5060
    • Outgoing SIP TCP calls involve connections between the TCP ephemeral ports and TCP:5061
    • Outgoing interruptions SNMP are sent the ephemeral ports UDP Port 162
    • Media (including audio and video, FECC messages) are ephemeral ports from ephemeral ports UDP.
    • The products acquired Cisco TANDBERG/Codian and gateway series series Cisco TelePresence allocate the ephemeral ports between 49152 to 65535 *. It is possible to change the ports on which these products receive and establish connections. For example, by default the Codian products Cisco acquired listen port 1720 H.323 calls and connections to port 80 web browser, but these can be modified (go to network > Services).

Keep in mind this MCU does not support the streaming or conference me and have either the GK aboard.  If these ports are listed.

  • Cisco TelePresence SX20 + VCS 8.2 Server and Skype for business 2015

Nice day! My name is Dimitri! Have Cisco TelePresence SX20 + VCS 8.2 Server and Skype for business 2015. Is it possible to set up a conference call SFB and appeal to all subscribers of this conference? At present, we can only call on a single client and SFB. We have the current version of the software TCNC5.1.4.295090 SX20 - is it possible he obnoviti 7, and it will help to improve the situation? Thank you!

I'm no expert on this technology, but I have some idea and already deployed some projects dealing with the integration of Cisco (CUCM, VCS) video infrastructure to Microsoft video infra like Lync. It would be the same process to make it work in your case.

How does your deployed SFB? How do you do a conference for audio and video, participants can join the conference by dialing?

    • Mediation server would be required as a front-end server for you to integrate IP/PBXS using SIP trunk to enable voice (audio) Conference with the participants to the PSTN.
    • AVMCU Should be (Audio video Multipoint Conferencing Unit) will host the video conference that will include video endpoints as participants.
    • Video of Interop (SCREW) Server would be required to interface your SFB to third video conference infrastructure such as Cisco UCM or VCS for the endpoints Cisco call client SFB of endpoint of Cisco to participate to the conference organised on SFB by dialing the conference number.

I'd say contact your AM SFB or Support as well for queries about how to plan your infrastructure SFB and direction.

  • License of telepresence screen

    Hello world

As my topic above on the telepresence Server License screen,.

I have several point endpoint entering CUCM 10.x as SIP:

    1 unit TX9000

How telepresence license screen I need so that all them endpoint can join the boardroom at the same time if the resolution for each endpoint that I need is HD 720 p 30 720 p 5 video content and?

    Please advise,

    Hi Ovindo,

I would advise looking at the TPS date of issue of the graph that details license use screen beginning on page 20 to ensure you have the correct amount:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/TD/docs/Telepresence/infrastructure/TS/...

The TX9000 will use 1 and 1/2 license screen

    7 other units, 1 SX20 and SX10 6 would use 1/2 of a license of each

  • in how many ways could connect a different company of telepresence?

    Hi all

I am new in the field of video conferencing and telepresence.

I would like to know how many ways there are to log to a different company to do a telepresence session.

Currently I am an infrastructure management of telepresence in which all the other location are 30 Km away and are all part of the same intranet.
Obviously, we have a VCSC and VCSe and a MCU.

If I do not have an intranet, and I want to connect to a different location, how can I do? VPN? Is it possible to use only the public internet?

for example, if I have 3 location (200 km) and each location offers free SSDL (declining from 4 Mbps to 4 Mbps), can I connect them?
I thought to use for example a VCS Espress starter pack in one place and 3 codec SX20.
Is it possible to have a 720 p call given the distances?

Just to add to the comment of the juriss; be sure to include 20% overhead for each call, when you calculate the bandwidth you can use. I.e. for a 768 Kbps call, you will need a minimum of 922 kbps available b & w.

I would create a separate subfield on the VCS E existing for these systems to register, allowing you to specify the b/w max available within the area, as well as max eligible b & w by appeal. This way you won't have to worry about potential problems caused by a connection at a higher rate.

  • Clinic of telepresence

What is the difference between the presence of clinics of telepresence and the Clinical Assistant telepresence VX

    Alex

Sent by Cisco Support technique iPad App

The telepresence of clinical presence system (CPS) is that a video codec C40 based mobile endpoint. It supports multiple displays, a motorized adjustable work surface and a number of inputs / outputs.

Photos and specifications of the CPS can be found here:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/prod/collateral/ps7060/ps11304/ps11314/ps11417/data_sheet_c78-648400.html

The Clinical Assistant VX is essentially the slightly, little brother of the CPS. It is based on the video codec C20, a smaller footrprint, has a single screen and fixed work surface.

VXCA sheet and photos can be found here:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/prod/collateral/ps7060/ps11304/ps11314/ps12152/data_sheet_c78-681413.html

Two mobile telepresence solutions are FDA class 1, and you can attach several of your devices video collaboration to our shopping cart.

Clinical HealthPresence (to add some confusion over) is a very wide and large scale type of solution. Video collaboration is part of it, but can also include medical devices, scheduling, data aggregation and AutoSave, etc. calling, used mainly in large network deployments.

If all goes well that can clarify things a little.

  • Requirements of Cisco TelePresence C for landlines and mobile calls

    Hello everyone,

I have questions about Cisco TelePresence C: I know that you can call to landline and mobile phones as well as these.

I would like to know more technical details about this:

-What else should be part of the installation of the TP C series in the case of calls on fixed or mobile? This Protocol must be used (H320 ISDN)?

Should I also buy Cisco TelePresence ISDN Link - http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collaboration-endpoints/telepresen... or can I use a gateway and SIP protocol for fixed lines?

    Thank you for the answers.

Inorder for you make or receive calls to PSTN/Mobile then you will need some sort of bridge. Yes the ISDN link can work if you have a few points of termination.

If you have more endpoints and activate this cabability for all then a network infrastructure device would be best, such as the Cisco TelePresence ISDN GW 3241
