Epson Stylus Pro 7000 windows 7 64 bit compatibility

I have an epson stylus pro 7000 and have just updated to windows 7 64 bit - there are Vista or windows 7 driver available - is it possible to use the driver in compatibility mode xp? or is there a generic driver that will work?

You must get the 64-bit for this device driver.  Ask Epson if a Vista or Windows 7 Inbox driver is compatible.    If it is a machine large format you will need to get the Epson driver form. The printer driver necessarily should be explicitly Windows 7 64 bit compatible, or another solution could be advised?

I have trouble finding information for this printer that is useful. I'll check more. In the meantime, it might be useful to try some of the included drivers 'in-box' with Win 7 64 bit.

  • Hi, I have a problem in the installation, how to install acrobat 8.1 pro in 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise is existing in Windows XP.  I just want to transfer the license Adobe pro 8 Windows 7 64 bit. What is the procedure?

Hi, I have a problem in the installation, how to install acrobat 8.1 pro in 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise is existing in Windows XP.  I just want to transfer the license Adobe pro 8 Windows 7 64 bit. What is the procedure?

You need to install 8 AA on the new OS with your current S/N (the license allows 2 installs). After the installation, do all the updates if you expect any chance of 8 AA to run on the system. If the updates will be installed not in the menu help, then go to ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/ and install updates in the order. People seem to have been successful with 32 - bit systems and some have reported success with a 64 bit system. After installation, print something to the Adobe PDF printer to make sure it works. If this works, you should be in good shape as printing treat the bottleneck. There is a solution, but you shouldn't have it.

If all works well, then go back to the old machine and disable this installing and uninstalling. Don't forget that your configuration is not supported by Adobe. It seems with every new version of Windows, MS seeks to make the user to upgrade the other hardware and software for compatibility. There may be legitimate reasons for this action, but the game just seems to be Ms.

  • Office Jet Pro L7580, Windows 7 64-bit Installer

I have a Dell Studio Desktop, which I updated to Windows 7 32-bit to Windows 7 64 bit. Now, I'm trying to reinstall the drivers for my Office Jet Pro L7580. The Office Jet and the Dell Studio are on a cable network.

I tried to use the HP printer install Windows Wizard, but whenever I use it, I get the message "the wizard has detected a problem with the software driver for the selected printer. If I continue I then I get a message "the system cannot find the file specified" or a message indicating that an error has been detected and the system must be closed. Once, I don't have the progress bar, but it did not move past the first step.

Before performing the installation, I disabled the TSRs terminate and stay, erased from records and trust temporary and disabled my McaFee firewall. Just as it had all but recommended no advantage.

I also tried to use the utilities to remove the driver, two of them, but this made no difference either.  The documentation says that the driver removal utilities will run at 4 levels. I do not know how, because it doesn't seem to be an exe file. However, when I run the batch file "Uninstall" Windows, it seems to work at level 2 and ask as I restart the system. Deleting driver utilitiesboth I raced my attached printer and not connected to the network.

I guess the message "The wizard has detected a problem with the driver software" must disappear before I can get a positive result. I guess also that this message is displayed because there is some residual remaining Windows 7 32-bit software that utilities to uninstall Windows not delete because they are not executed correctly.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Having investigated a bit more, there are a couple of logs who recommend using Revo and CCleaner to remove songs flying over a previous installation. I've loaded and executed these two and Revo has found a large number of entries that I deleted.

I then ran the wizard again and after a lapse of acertain time and a recommendation to turn my anti virus software I know succeeded. I will think long and hard before repeating this procedure.

  • Webcam NX Pro with Windows 7 64 bit?

I know that Creative will not make drivers available for the WebCamNX Pro (for Windows 7 32/64). My question is: does not exist a driver for another device, which can be used for your webcam to run under Windows 7 64-bit? __

Webcam NX Pro, Creative Labs, is a very popular dongle and a very good camera too!

Windows 7 is an amazing OS!

Then... it would be great if they could work together!

    How can they be?

    • Find a compatible driver?
    • Write an independent driver?
    • Press Creative Labs to create the drivers?

Microsoft are not allowed to produce or understand drivers for other manufacturers unless they get the ok of their share. To do so would interfere with the 3rd party hardware manufacturer product life cycles.

So, no 64-bit NX Pro drivers because Logitech that buy you a new webcam. Start searching... :-) Mike Hall MVP - Windows Desktop Experience http://msmvps.com/blogs/mikehall/

I read your post with a lot of attention. There seems to be some confusion on your part. I want to arrempt in order to clarify the information so that a good solution might be found for your needs.

The Epson LQ-680 is a matrix printer with a print head 24 pins. It is designed to use a parallel port. This means that its computer interface conforms to the IEEE 1284 specification. This is often referred to as a Centronics parallel port. Series No.

    http://www.Epson.com/cgi-bin/store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&OID=14331&infoType=overview

Thus, because your computer does not have a port for a direct connection, you must use a parallel to USB device.

Not all of these devices are supported printers. Please check the specifications of the device that you use to connect your USB printer and confirm that it supports the printers. It is preferable that it supports bidirectional printing through the device. If it is not the case, getting the arrangements put in place for this printer could be a problem.

    =================

You did not mention whether your machine is a laptop or computer desk/workstration. If the latter, and if she will allow to install PCI cards or PCI-E, install a parallel port card would work more simply.

If you want other help, please let us know the make and model of the parallel to USB device.

  • Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro and Windows 7 (64-bit)

I got a new computer running Win7 64-bit. I have a copy of Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro, I am getting down to work on the new system. During the installation process, he raised an error by requesting the file adobepdf.dll of Windows Vista. Since I also have a computer running Vista, I was able to locate the necessary file to complete the installation. However, when I try to PDF a website for example, it displays an error to the Task Manager (clock lower). When I check the properties of the Adobe PDF printer, it shows the port as being "LPT1".

I contacted Adobe via online chat, but was directed to the website www.adobe.com/support. There, I could not find anything.

I guess the first question to ask is... Is Windows 7 64 bit & Adobe Pro 8 compatible? If so, what am I doing wrong? If this isn't the case, that answers the question here. When I asked the cat Adobe representative, all they said about the compatibility, is that it has not been tested on Win7, so they don't know.

I tried to make the facility a couple of times / ways. The first time I did the installation, I clicked on Cancel when she asked the file AdobePDF.dll Vista. I got the same results as I did when I found the file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

  • Printer for Windows 7 64-bit compatibility

Can someone please help me find a printer/scanner of consumer that are compatible with the Windows 7 64-bit operating system?

I can't locate the enteprises of printer that supports the 64 bit OS?

How is that possible? Why would you do this OS and can't stand not with drivers for printers/scanners?

    Very frustrated!

You have the wrong way about it.

Choose any multifunction printer you like.  For example, good market 6520 Photosmart e-all-in-one HP printer.

If you look at the specs--> http://store.hp.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/us/en/pdp/printers/hp-photosmart-6520-e-all-in-one-printer and go to the 'minimum requirements', what you see is

    «Windows 8 and Windows 7: 1 GHz 32-bit (x 86) or (x 64) 64-bit processor

There is nothing there that says Windows 8 32-bit or 64-bit or Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit (although the fact that the system can have either a 32 or 64-bit processor might be a clue).

However, rather than rely on the specs, go to the HP site support part and see what drivers are available--> http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=5169041&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us

If you do this, you will see that there are drivers for:

    Windows 7 32 bit

    Windows 7 64 bit

    Windows 8 32-bit

    64-bit Windows 8

    8.1 32-bit Windows

    8.1 Windows 64-bit

    Windows RT

    Windows Vista

    Windows Vista 64-bit

    Windows XP

    Mac OS X 10.10

    Mac OS X 10.6

    Mac OS X 10.7

    Mac OS X 10.8

    Mac OS X 10.9

In fact, if you actually select one of the Windows versions above, you will see that there is a single download that supports ALL versions of Windows--> h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=5169041&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us

The line at the bottom is, watch downloads driver for the printer that you interests rather than the data sheet marketing.  Almost no matter what MFP on the market today will support 32 and 64 bit versions of various editions of Windows.
