  So I changed my settings published to publish and .oam file. It's like a .swf and if yes what can read/play it?

  Its a version "packaged" of the project files that can be imported into another Adobe application.

  -Muse allows you to import a .oam;

  -Dreamweaver can insert a .oam;

  Essentially, it is a method to add support for leading edge in another application (above).

  You do not have these models it is because you are using the current version of DW CC 2015.

  These models have been deprecated / replaced by newer models of Bootstrap.

• InDesign keeps crashing and corrupting my files

  InDesign crashes on a regular basis, whenever it crashes I lose the last file that was open when the accident occurred. I can not re - open this file, if I try to open it, indesign crashes again and again. What happened 7 times in the last two months. I'm getting really sick of having to re - build complicated art files.

  It doesn't seem to be any consistency to when it crashes. Most of the time however, ID crashes right after (or as) the file that I worked on is closed.

  I'm on CC 2015 the latest version and I'm running OS X 10.9.5. (don't have not updated to Yosemite yet)

  I just tried to re - open file corrupted todays again once and it came with the following info on "an invalid image. If I press Yes or no, it won't let me open & ID crashes again.

  Please help urgently!  Is there any way I can recover my file corrupted from today?

  Oh also I spoke with tech support and they said that this is the fix for the current version of indesign.

  Fuzzy in PDF format: fix above points first. make sure that the links are up-to-date; post a screenshot here your PDF export settings.

  Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors.   To work around the problem, you can configure initial field scroll to 1, it works with the third file oam.

  I suggest to follow the steps provided and we update on the State of the question.

  Method 1: Run the troubleshooters and check if the problem is resolved.

  Method 2: If the problem persists, then clear the database of Windows Media Player. To do this, follow these steps:

  a. exit Windows Media Player.

  b. for Windows 7: click Start, run, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click on OK.

  c. Select all files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

  Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

  d. restart Windows Media Player.

  Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

  Method 3: If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

  a. exit Windows Media Player.

  b. If you run Windows 7, click Start, run, % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft, and then click OK.

  c. Select the folder Media Playerand then click delete on the file menu.

  d. restart Windows Media Player.

  I'm not 100% sure of this, but my guess is that Dreamweaver assigns an OAM by using a container of fixed size.  In order to control the size of the container, you will need to explicitly declare an iframe, refer to animate it HTML, and then change the size of the iframe.  I have an example of how doing that in the sample "Floral Match Maker", explained here in this blog:

• Several questions using the fixed layout

  I'll try to explain all my troubles and excuse my English.

  Problems for a long time, iTunes Connect, Pages or iBooks author.

  I'm basically a writer of children's books using the EPUB fixed layout as a template. One of my books with (interactive) video I've corrected several times through many contacts with support until I discovered that the problem was that iBooks was unable to read the EPUB 3.0 presentation stops and freezes. • Why the .oam files do not work with interactive pdf?

  I use InDesign CC 2015 11.0.1.105 to export the interactive pdf file and I use Edge Animate 6.0.0 to export the .oam file.

  I import the oam in InDesign and position the overlay to AutoPlay with a slight delay. The window preview shows the animation work, but when you export as a interactive just the image of the poster is displayed. That I'm viewing the pdf file in Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  Am I missing something or is the latest version of InDesign does support this feature more?

• Adobe Edge OAM files have black background

  Hello. I have

  have a folio with 11 items. All items have an OAM file in them. Since I started this project 2 months ago, all the animations have transparent backgrounds and have worked a dream. They have worked fine up until today. I went to republish the folio - and all transparent have black background - they never had these before, are designed with transparent backgrounds and have always worked very well... They also all have transparent backgrounds (in the Panel inlays of the folio) but as soon as you take the files in InDesign - files all go black. Even when you preview files on the edge - they appear as they should. That is when he begins to interact with InDesign. This issue has been around for centuries. There must be a way to solve this problem - otherwise, what's the point of the edge?

• Problems with a fixed layout TOC

  When I export a layout fixed epub from a file of book with the names of files chosen as type of OCD, I get the entries of table of contents for each page instead of chapter. Need help solving this.

  The problem you are experiencing here is the chapter names based on the names of the xhtml files (for example chapter-4-2 and not Chapter-4) and not the chapters. Am I correct here?

  Hi Ananda,

  Adobe Digital Editions came with a new update 4 ADE. Here you can see your EPUB fixed layout. Please note that ADE 4 on Mac works very well with FXL exported 2014 CC InDesign EPUB, you can see a few question on Windows though. We are aware of the problems and the team is working on fixing these issues with ADE on Windows.

  Readium is also a good player that displays EPUB FXL very well.
