  I just upgrade my 2 cluster nodes to 11R2 under window 2003 10.2.0.4.
  
  My group and my startup of the database without problem.
  
  The only problem, I'm not able to open a sqlplus with / as sysdba.
  
  If I connect with a listener (aka in the tnsname) I can access my database.
  
  In local mode, it is not possible (it's like I can't use my sqlplus in local mode).

  in my sqlnet.ora file, I always have the option AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NTS)
  and my sqlplus associated new directory (11 GR 2). If I do a tnsping, I see that the new directory useless.

  After upgrade, you have now (at least temporarily) 2 ORACLE_HOMEs. ORA-12557 occurs when the version of the executable file and default ORACLE_HOME are not the same, that is, call you sqlplus 10g 11g ORACLE_HOME or vice versa.
  Make sure you only use sqlplus 11g and 11g ORACLE_HOME (YES ==> products installed ==> environment, moving % ORACLE_HOME % upward).

  I have recently upgraded to Windows 8.1. After the upgrade, the first thing I did was to install Firefox. Since then, I've noticed some strange behavior in Firefox:

  3. My blinking cursor will often disappear after I reposition it to edit text (Random)
  

  I've never had any problems with Firefox before. So I suspect that these symptoms are related to each other somehow. Help, please.

  I hope this helps others. My problem was related to the view being disabled in Device Manager. Once I enabled the generic PnP display the problem has been resolved.

  Yesterday, I upgraded my poynt app, which seems to have causes all types of problems with my phone.

  (1) my email account icons have all disappeared, although it recognizes new messages, I can't access it.

  (2) the device does not allow me to access my texts all the time as well, and I get errors such as:

  Eception exception: application_net_rim_bb_message_app (231) does not.  I had the same message with several different numbers.

  I also have java.null messages, even if it is rare and I don't remember the exact error.

  (3) desktop manager cannot access the device, it does not allow me to backup my data.

  (4) I tried to reload the os, and applications but it fails because it cannot back up data...

  I'm lost and can't seem to find help on the net for this, and at this point, I want to just wipe the slate and start over from scratch.  Maybe completely reload the software or something.  I have most of my contact information on my sim card from my previous phone, data loss would be minimal...

  Thanks for your help.  So a question I had was that my camera was unable to save all the data, and therefore loader did not work properly.  I read somewhere that you can stop the car to the top, did this and reloaded the new os.  I think that things are finally working

  I Don t think the biosupdate is the reason for the reduced screen. It does not sound like a software thing, but rather a hardware malfunction.

  Is your normal screen during startup? If so, I'd say just remove your existing display drivers and install the new. But if it s like you described then it must be a hardware problem and the machine should be checked by a technician or at least a service partner.

  Would be better if your bring your machine to an ASP for a checkup of material.

  I tried the latest drivers from Lenovo, but without success. When I open the Device Manager, the map is shown as installed correctly, but the manifactire driver is Microsfoft no Lenovo/Ericsson

  

  When I try to reinstall the driver from the installation package poppies a message "no action was taken as a reboot of the system is necessary.

  I did a clean install with formatting of the SSD.

  Now, everything works fine, including the WWAN adapter.

  My laptop was with too many Windows updates (7-> 8-> 8.1-> 10) it is therefore possible to be something related to this.

  • Used a new battery
  • Do the powerless laptop (detach battery and adapter) and hold the power button for 15-20 seonds. After that return battery and adapter

  You are not alone. I currently have a C50 Sat with exactly the same problem, with the exception of the upgrade. My problem started before I upgraded to 10. Like you, I can start with the battery and using taking current, but which is rubbish for a laptop.
  I didn't upgrade the bios but the laptop does not recognize when the battery is connected and the bios update tool continues to ask for it (VERY annoying ToshIba if you already read your forums).
  I was trawl through these forums looking for a solution, but there are 0 replies on the vast majority of positions. Not even ToshIba engineers seem to have a presence.

  In any case, did you ever solved the problem, and if so can you please share?
