  Hi all
  I have a laptop Toshiba Equium A60 which now extends for less than a year.
  I am running WinXp Sp2

  Yesterday, my laptop started to plant flashing a blue screen (not the time to see what he says that the computer reboots too quickly).

  If the network connection works fine, it is not necessary to set it up again. I guess there are conflicts and the unit freezes. In my opinion there is no problem with the hardware or with your cable with the network settings.

  OK, so this is what happened:

  While my friend was working on his laptop computer that she had his charger plugged but it did not load. I discovered that the lead from the Charger AC/DC had frayed and should resolidering. After that the laptop was working fine, I looked inside the laptop to check the AC plug connector before I fixed the cable.

  I noticed that the WiFi card was broke, so I changed it to a WiFi card in my other laptop used. After back the laptop together and put the battery in, the lights on the front flash blue only and the power light stays orange as if the laptop is in stand-by mode. I can hear the hard drive turns and the CPU heats more CD-ROM drive works, but I can't start that the laptop just sits there with the Orange.

  I tried out the CMOS battery, I took out the main battery and just used the AC/DC adapter, but the same thing happens.

  I'm not sure, but what happens if you remove the WiFi card you created in? The new card is may be defective or not compatible with the laptop.

  To me, it looks like a hardware problem and your laptop should be checked by a technician of the laptop. Maybe the motherboard needs to be replaced or something else

  my computer laptop zoostorm turned off with no warning screen - no bsod, no dialogue - only in black. it restarts normally and all systems appear fine except for wireless network. adapter seems to work but does not detect the network. I have not recently installed new software or mingled with all the settings.

My Equium M70 notebook is about 2 years old and suddenly decided not power without being connected to the electric network. Finally got round to buy a new battery and put in tonight. Still won't turn on so I plugged and charged it... or so I thought. He always says the battery is n/a and only works when it is plugged.

  It of a simply overheating issue that could be caused by clogged cooling grids.

  From time to time it s a good idea to clean the fans. Especially dust prevents the cooling modules works correctly, and therefore the temperature rises.

  I made good experiences with the jet of compressed air. These sprays can be purchased from dealers of computer/laptop.

  Hi people I need help if you can help.

I noticed the end of the adapter (the end that goes into the laptop) is different from the normal ones. Rather than having a hole in the center that integrates a pic on the laptop, it's just got a piece of flat metal. Wondering that was normal and the problem is inside your computer laptop or if the latter has somehow broken and is stuck in the adapter.   I fear bad news. The flat piece of metal that you describe is the rear part of the central axis that broke inside the power jack on your laptop. It is quite a common phenomenon (check some other posts on these forums).

  Unfortunately, the solution to this problem is for your authorized Service partner nearest replace the motherboard (expensive!) unless you can find someone ready to weld in a new socket.

  Installation CD is not delivered with your laptop, just recovery CD and recovery CD offers no repair option.
