  I just replaced the HD having failed in Equium L10-200 my wife, upgraded 1 GB memory and did a clean install of Windows 7. After a few adjustments, it works fine but I cannot get it to detect the wireless (I tried (Vista drivers) both the video card will only run DirectX in XP mode which makes it lag when you play.)

  I would like to find a Win 7 compatible driver for the card wireless, or failing that, an upgrade of the hardware.

  You should check what the WiFi card in your laptop.
  Have a look in Device Manager and open the properties of the Wlan card.
  You should see the Vendor ID and the device ID.

  When I tried to connect WiFi my suburb does not connect with the router at all. Looks like it was trying to access the Internet.
  Then window took to replace my IP address. But as I can not connect on it cannot be a substitute.

  Why you can t replace your IP address?
  First to connect properly, check if you need a static IP address or if you get an IP address from your router (DHCP).

  If you use encryption, make sure you typed the correct password. Disable filtering of MAC addresses in the router to connect properly.

  Last but not least, make sure that you have installed the new firmware on your router.

• Equium L10: The keyboard settings?

  Due to a leak on my laptop, I had to adapt to a new keyboard since then some of my keys I shoot are wrong, i.e. U appears in issue 4, some other keys are the same. I put regeon and verified all mapping is ok if I connect external keyboard in all right. Anyone has any ideas how to solve this problem.

  I recently got a Toshiba Equium L10-300 and it has serious issues of keyboard.

  Some buttons do different things they are asked (for example. The letter M is going to be transformed into letters NM or the right arrow will turn into a huge space).

  The enter/return key does not work all together and that's all I want to work really (want to format and start over).

  I tried to remove the keyboard, but he can't seem to drag out (is there an easy way out without breaking everything?).

  Any help or advice on this would be much appreciated.

  The keyboard is fixed with screws.
  You need to remove these screws to remove the keyboard from the laptop.

  As far as I know there is a small plastic above the F1 - F12 buttons cover.
  You must remove this cover to gain access to the screws.

  But note; the keyboard is connected to the motherboard with a flat cable. Be careful and don't use force.

• Equium L10-300 - message "media test failure".

  I'm asking on behalf of a friend. They recently, accidentally had a spill of liquid on the keyboard of their laptop Equium L10-300 which resulted in the message "media test failure" appearing on the screen and makes it so the laptop unusable. Apparently when the liquid was split open CD-ROM drive (coincidence?), while the player also "clicky" sounds when the case he pressed.

  Why hard drive? I fear that the defective mainborad may be responsible for this message (IDE controller). Boyfriend sorry but it is just a recommendation, contact the service and let check the laptop.

  I just bought an Equium L10-300, after a certain time of the machine being left, I seem to lose control over my volume and some of the other controls FN.   I ordered an another 512MB in addition to the basic 256 MB (240 MB is available, is broken down between 16 MB video memory). Once I added the extra 512 MB can I allocate more video memory?

  Firstly a small description on UMA for some newbie s:
  Unified memory architecture. A computer graphics chip integrated into the motherboard using a part of the main memory of the computer for the video memory is supposed to have a Unified Memory Architecture.

  I think each of us knows the updated graphics card (I mean replacement) is usually not possible on laptops.
  It s just a different technology as a desktop PC

  However, shared memory graphics card using different values of graphics memory.
  For example on Equium L10-300 (Equium L10-273 is not know for me) 32 MB and 64 MB.

  The upgrade of main memory will not increase the graphics memory up to 128 or 256 MB.
  This is not possible because on Equium L10-300, shared memory graphics card supports only 32 to 64 MB.

  In your case maybe only from 16 to 32 MB.
