  Can anyone help?

  I just bought an Equium P200D and noticed it uses 700 MB to 800 MB (minimum 40%) of memory even when not doing anything, there is an AMD x 2 with ATI onboard 62.

  Is that correct under Vista or something wrong: the system seems slow.

  Fact is that the Vista operating system eat resources of the laptop! He needs a lot more resources as previous operating system MS

  I have two cameras attached to NI PCIe-1430 frame grabber card (Atmel Aviiva M2 CL and Fairchild 2 K LS) IRLS. It's ok when I run two cameras individually, but I can't run them at the same time.

  1. open MAX, select the port and start image acquisition by pressing the 'Grab' button, I can see the image at this point.

  2. open another MAX session, select the other port and press "enter". I got following error:

  I already give enough timeout Fame to the tab settings of Acquisition.

  The MAX version used is 4.5.

  I found a problem on my laptop Toshiba Satellite C650-15 X (almost new), I bought several months ago. It has a drive hard 500 GB volume in 2 partitions: C and D-with 250 GB each; and Windows 7 Premium 64-bit operating system.

  There is something strange about the partition D: it is 225 GB of missing! After scoring all of the files in the partition D > properties, there are only 25 GB in use and really little or no free space! There isn't any system or other files with this 25 GB. More than 220 GB in partition D is simply disappeared.

  C partition looks normal. Tried all known Windows tools: check disk, defragmentation, convenience stores, etc. without results. Any suggestion or idea what s happened past and how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

  I sort approximately 50 + hours of game play. I used CC Prime Minister, I would like to cut out a bit that I want and add it to Media Encoder. I made this remarks of segments of 20 or more than anywhere between 10 seconds to 2 minutes. And all exported almost well, only some didn't sound, but Pr told me that there is a disk error.

  (C) is the operating system. (E) has all the files work, music, movies, shows, etc. And (z) are games and programs.

  What is really weird and made me post here, it is that I know Adobe is installed on Z: and when I started the project, it has been set to Z: also. What is even more strange is that C: > users > user, is at 66 gb at the moment, but when I go inside this folder and right-click > properties all of them, all together they don't not add to 66 gb.   Space is probably absorbed by the files hidden as temporary/Temporary Internet Files, etc. To show hidden files in XP (in Folder Options View tab), there are four boxes to treat:

  a. check "display the contents of system folders".
  b. check "show files and folders.
  c. uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types".
  d. uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and click "OK" to the dialog box.

  In addition, you can use a free utility like TreeSize Free to see where the space is being taken up.

  I ordered a Dell xps 420 with 750GB HD.  When I got there, I checked, I saw the total of 695 GB: about 680 in the C drive and 15 GB of recovery drive.  I lost over 50 GB.  I spoke to Dell tech, and he told me that there is a hidden partition for utilities, drivers, etc.  With all the back up only takes 15 GB, why does it take more than 50 Go for these things?
