Error-1073807202 lack of Code Library in open VISA

Hello

I'm trying to contact
ANRITSU MS9710B via GPIB optical spectrum analyzer. Anritsu provides
-Based VISAS screws for all functions. When you try to initialize the
instrument (using VISA Open), I get the following error:
-1073807202, which is "a code library required by VISA impossible.
located or loaded.

I can communicate with the
using the measurement and Automation Explorer instrument and have
recently installed the latest version of the NOR-488 driver (Version 2.2 for)
GPIB-USB-B).

I'm using Labview 8.0.

Where can I find the missing code library?

Thanks in advance!

Freddy

HM... Yes indeed! I had actually installed NI-VISA, but MAX indicates that it was not properly done. I'll get rid of and re - install the drivers of VISA,... that may well be it! I'll let you know... in the meantime:

Thanks for your quick response!

    Hi all

I am new to using labVIEW and I would be really grateful if you could help me with an error.

I'm trying to control a model LM-500 liquid cryogen level monitor (Discontinued).

Its drivers are available online and I download and I'm launching the demo.

When I try to run it I got the following error:

The LM-500 is connected to my computer through RS232 serial.

That's because the new VISA open does not recognize the IO senior class, you must remove and replace it with the new type. Right-click on the resource of visa > Create > control.

Select the rigtht COM port and try again

  • Errors open VISA 1073897360, 1073897343, 1073897229

I use labview to send commands to a function AFG 3022 tektronix generator.  My VI uses a loop for the frequency exemple.25 kHz (starting at 1 kHz) every second by 15 seconds.   All two iterations of my loop, one of the error codes which I enclose below appears (stop the loop) and references the error occurred when opening VISA in VI initialize.  This VI just initialize the driver of instruments for the AFG3000 function generators series.

I'm not sure that the error is with the VISA Open function or initialize the VI.  If the error is due to the VISA Open function, while this means there are problems with communication with my function generator and the Dell laptop that I use?

    What I tried:

    -cords of different USB 2.0

-updated the driver for USB hub root

-made sure the box in the USB hub root properties saying "allow this computer to turn off this device to save power" is not checked

-put a second wait function 2 before VISA Open

I will now try run the VI on another computer and will updated on how it goes.

    This is the VI initialize:

I just found the problem. It had to do with the driver error on VI, who had a close function of visa.  Therefore, the constant closing and reopening of visa generated errors. I also moved the VI initialize out of the loop (as you suggest) just to be sure. Thanks anyway.

You cannot return a pointer to the data stored on the stack. At the time when the function returns, the stack is reset to the State before the call to the function and in a multithreaded as LabVIEW environment probably long reused for other things when LabVIEW gets around to actually copy the returned pointer data.

Since it is a read-only variable, you could create a permanent memory for string storage by declaring your variable static. This will create a memory area allocated globally for the string data (and also cause a compile error when you try to write in this area somewhere in your code, which is a good thing).

    Hello

Have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Put the computer in a clean boot state, then check if that helps you.

How to solve the problem by running the clean boot in Windows Vista:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: Once you have completed troubleshooting, perform the steps in the step 7: to reset the computer as usual.

    Method 2:

Run the Microsoft Safety Scanner and check if there are any threats found.

    Microsoft safety scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: If no threat found check if the file is necessary or not, then delete it.

Also make sure that the popup is secure and then install if necessary. Windows updates are all secure and this is only the computer and Windows manufacturer. Optional updates are the manufacturer of the computer and the manufacturer of the application that you have installed. Important updates are Microsoft and it must be installed. I also suggest you try to install Service pack 2 on your computer and check if that helps.

    Hi Vimala L,.

under Windows, you need to add the DV_WidgetBin.lib library to your library includes or just use $UI_PLUGIN_LINKLIST macro that contains this library.

On Mac, it is included in the framework.

  • Error "the application"Steam.app"is not open more."

I use Steam to play games, I recently installed Trove which began to hang Steam (and not run) rarely when I clicked on the play button.

Sometimes, when Steam closes (or hangs in my case), when I try to open it again, it gives me an error "the application"Steam.app"is not open more.". It can be fixed by restarting, but it's boring and useless. How can I fix it?

Restart the computer in safe mode. Some caches maintained by the system will be rebuilt.

Safe mode is much slower to start up as normal. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

If you use no FileVault 2 in OS X 10.7 ("Lion") or later version, you can restart as usual (not in safe mode) when the login screen appears. There is no need to log on in safe mode.

If you use FileVault 2 in OS X 10.11 ("El Capitan") or later version, or if you don't know if use you it, you as usual then connect in safe mode, and then restart (not in safe mode.)

If you use FileVault 2 in OS X 10.9 ("Swat") or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you cannot start in safe mode. In this case, request further instructions.
