• Update errors: 643 & 0 x 80070008

  I never encountered this problem before, but now I have a problem with the 7 MS updates that will not be installed.  KB980195; KB982381; KB979906; KB975562; KB979482; KP979559; KB980218.

  I thought that KB979906 is for .net framework and the solution is to delete all versions of the .net framework and put EVERYTHING back again.  The other answer was that, unless you are a developer, you don't have this update.  Personally I would feel much safer if it would install because it says that my computer requires it.  Others are mostly security updates and will not install.  I already checked the messages of error and of course very generic: 0 x 80070008 for security updates and 0 x 643 for the .net framework.  Does anyone have this problem or better yet a fix?  I had this problem before.  Updates always downloaded and installed fine for me.  Also, my PC is super clean.  Completely redone approximately 4 months and works great until this glitch.

  I've had no end of problems like you for days trying to install all these updates net framework of unloading and reloading etc. try to do about a week now.  But none of them worked.  Finally went to the Center to download microsoft and typed codes KB individually and then manually downloaded one at the time here, not the automatic updates and my pc works perfectly now and all updates installed correctly.  Hope this works it can not guarantee, but he did it for me worth to give it a try.
