error 7 - create a .exe of a VI

Hi all

I know there are many questions about the error 7 but its such a broad error applied to so many different types of programs and it was very difficult for me to find the solution that best fits my program. In addition, I am not very advanced in labview and its is difficult to apply correctly the other solutions to my program.

I'm trying to compile a program that was originally running on a computer with Labview 2010 but continually get error 7-file not found. I have attached the original program for your use.

Thank you!

All,

Thanks for all your help everyone. I finally found a solution on the Web site of NOR. We had to add two files to our build to run the .exe as the path of the file of Reporting.

The solution is below for those of you who have the same problem.

I tried to install it as a system administrator. I searched the site of Valve/steam software for a solution, none were found (http://store.steampowered.com/). I searched the database of Microsoft for a solution, none were found. I'm having no problem with other games or applications that were loaded on that computer. The problem is only with the application steam.exe and any game that requires the application of steam to the function.

    Hello Platinum,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Vista Community Forums.

This error is primarily caused by a lack of permissions for the user, having the Steam.exe file attributes set to 'Read only', or by another program interferes with the installation of Steam process (if the steam client application has been updated to a version that was not included in your package of Steam, Steam will download a new copy of itself and then delete the old file Steam.exe except when another program interferes).

    1. check your Windows user permissions.
Please ensure that you are logged on as administrator on the computer that you use to install Steam.
    2. check the file attributes
    3. right click on the file Steam.exe, which was created after running the Steam Installer, and then select Properties
4 uncheck the read-only box if it is checked and hit apply before closing the window
    5. try running the Steam.exe file once more
    6. check the settings of your security software

If you are running an antivirus, firewall or any product safety program that may interfere with the removal and replacement of the file Steam.exe (some security software will check information of a file whenever it is changed and block the automatic replacement of files) Please check your settings for the program and ensure that you are prompted to authorize activities that may trigger the security software.

Remove spyware, Adware and virus software and try to run the installation again.

In addition to the steps above, follow these steps:
    1. go in C:/Program Files/Steam /.
    2. right click on Steam.exe and go to properties.
    3. click on the Compatibility tab.
    4. check run as administrator and click OK.
    5. then I deleted StemeTemp (or something like that. the steam icon).
    6. then run Steme.exe again.

    It will be useful.

  • Create an exe to LAUNCH AN INSPECTION in VBAI

    Good day again NI Experts.

I would like to ask for a solution to a small problem of mine in VBAI. By default, after you have saved a project VBAI, a file EXE will create for this project. When we re - open the EXE file, we will be directed straight to mode 'Configure the control' of this program. What I need now is to create an EXE file to mode "Run the Inspection" of this program so that when our client opens the application, he or she will be able to run the inspection immediately. Of course we do not want our client to have access to the configuration of the program. Please also note that we do not have software to run if there is VBAI. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you very much.

    Sincerely,

    Andrei K.

I don't know what you set on EXE files created in VBAI. You're talking about a. File VBAI?

If you want VBAI to run automatically in the mode of inspection you should go to the configuration Interface, and then select the Tools/Options menu.

In the startup section, check 'Start Inspection when launched' and select which VBAI inspection must be run at startup.

After that, restart VBAI will automatically put it into "run mode of inspection.

    Hope this helps,

  • Create an .exe file

Hi guys. I want to turn my VI in an .exe file that I want to run it on another pc. How can I do? I have to install labview also on the other pc?

    Thank you

You will need the length of LabVIEW engine (RTE) that corresponds to the version used to create the .exe, i.e. 2012 if created with 2012, 2013, if 2013. Unless you need a specific feature 64 bit I also suggest creating in 32 bits. A 32-bit .exe, with 32-bit appropriate LabVIEW RTE, will run on a 32-bit or 64-bit machine, was created in 64-bit only runs on 64-bit computers.

As noted in previous posts, unless the version of LabVIEW Development package at the request of the manufacturer (professional development for example) would need you the add-on Application Builder.

  • I get error message 0x7c919af2 sychost.exe 0x00000010

Message: I have windows professional XP and SP3 also internet exploror 8 installed but whenever I try to download the fix it Center Online I get the error message unhandled exception has occurred in the creation of the specified web proxy error in the "proxy system.net/default ' configuration section ' advice on how to deal with this would be appreciated also at the top of the boot from my computer , I get error message 0x7c919af2 sychost.exe 0x00000010 any advice on this would be also greatly appreciated

Why don't you send the error message that is accurate and complete to see you?

Here is a folk remedy for this situation if this is what you see (or similar looking) of svchost.exe:

Application error: the instruction at "0x7c91b21a" referenced memory at "0x00000010". Memory could not be "written".

It seems that the last update for Windows Media Player may contribute to this problem when the system has the Windows Driver Foundation Service active and running.

Unless you write your own drivers for XP and using the Windows Driver Foundation Service to help you debug, you should disable the WDF Service.

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    services.msc

Click OK to launch the Services Applet

Locate the Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework Service, right-click right the Service, select properties and choose disabled and OK your way out of the Services Applet to save the changes.

Note that you will not be able to 'Stop' Service first, but it's OK.

Restart your system (the WDF service is now disabled) and check your failure condition now.

Error Msg appears "Csrsc.exe" when I start laptop Windows XP

What anti-virus software is installed on the computer?

csrsc.exe is a process which is registered as W32. Spybot.CF Virus. This Trojan horse allows hackers to access a computer remotely, flying of the passwords, personal data and Internet banking.

This process is a security risk and should be removed from your system.

  • I have Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 with Service Pack 3 and I tried to run Media Center but I get an error message with ehshell.exe.

    original title: error with ehshell.exe

I have Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 with Service Pack 3 and I tried to run Media Center but I get an error message with ehshell.exe. Could you help me?

This problem exists since the 1st Media Center. SP2 and SP3 had a difficulty, but it is obvious that it doesn't always. The same problem still exists in Vista today with a lot of other carried over from XP. System restore would work, but you do not have any good restore points so reinstall an operating system seems to be your only option.

You probably don't want to do an OS reinstall you need for Media Center, but since it does not at all, you might want to play then remove the Media Center updates and or SP3 and reinstall them.

  • When I try to connect my computer with XP operating system, I get this error message to: rund1132.exe and cannot log out.

    original title: log question.

When I try to connect my computer with XP operating system, I get this error message to: rund1132.exe and cannot log out.  How can I fix?

    Hi KERRYYX,

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. When was the last time it was working fine?
    3. You have security software installed on the computer?
    4. What is the full error message that you receive?
    5. Are you able to restart and shut down the computer?

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.
