  Hey all, I recently had this problem with my Adobe after effects (Version 13.2.0.49) CC. I had this on my previous version and after the update to the latest version of the software, I always get the 'After Effects error: Preview RAM needs 2 or more images for playback' each time I try preview RAM. I also have completely uninstalled and reinstalled AE and attempted to purge the of memory, but I still don't have the same error.

  
  

  Another question (not sure whether or not it is related to the error of RAM Preview?), is that when I press the play button, the green bar that is usually created at the playhead appears for 1 frame, then goes immediately after the playhead moves to the next frame.

  I have problems with 2 things.  First of all, when I try to go to Adobe Media Encoder I get the following error:

  

  It works perfectly well first Pro CC.  If I open Media encode and import a legacy file that works fine as well.

  And when I try to create new cinema 4 D file:

  

  There is NO movie theater that installed 4 d I can see on my system - where it is and how to download?  I tried to use import Photoshop 3D, but apparently we cannot do that more with CC?

• Communication error - After Effects Download Assistant

  I tried to download a trial for Adobe After Effects for the past hours. I downloaded the Wizard download and when I select After Effects and click Download, I get an error 107 saying theres a communication error, and he is unable to communicate with adboe.com. Help?

  I just want to confirm the proper way to connect two or more UCS 5108 chassis with a pair of interconnect fabric 6120xp clustered.

  I though that they should connect like this: the tissue Extender first of all chassis must connect on interconnection fabric A and second all chassis tissue Expander connects to the fabric interconnect b. as on the diagram here: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-5949

  However, I saw someone did: 1 chassis connects as I went through although above but for the 2 chassis, fabric Extender 1 connect to the B interconnection fabric and fabric fabric Extender 2 interconnect a. -

  can someone tell me which is appropriate/best practices? no reason the second chassis enjambment?

  Ming, you must fix this implementation.  It's like ghostbusters: do not exceed the streams!

  Always systematically cable chassis fex to interconnection fabric.  Most common installation:

  Interconnection of fabric (primary) is connected to the hand (looking for the rear of the chassis) left FEX

  Fabric interconnect (subordinate) B is hand-bound straight FEX.

  Why?  You will get errors (can't be bothered them up!) and if you move a Service profile to a chassis to another chassis that is wired differently, it will not work (CNAs wired to different financial institutions, where the living are active / inactive = bad).

  PS - to change this, if I were you, I would like to turn off the entire system - fabric interconnects, chassis, everything.  then re-cable.  then turn on the fabric of the interconnections and chassis and check configurations are ok.

  This is my first time to use After Effects and I don't know anything about. I opened it and something pops up saying 'Ray-tracing on GPUS requires a NVIDIA and CUDA 5.0 or later approved graphics card'. What it means?   Your graphics card can't do ray traced 3D, so (ray traced 3D) it will be not very usable with large 3D scenes. Not a problem really unless what you AE for. You can still use the program. It's just a warning your graphics card does not minimum requirements for "ray 3D" features drawn, although it will still work, the CPU can do it too, but the classic rendering engine is generally fine for 3D in AE

  I have install the CUDA 5.5.28 driver. I tried with and without, it's the same thing.

  This computer has no Nvidia card. CUDA driver for Nvidia CUDA hardware only software. Why did you install the CUDA driver on a computer without any other hardware CUDA?

  You will not be able to use the GPU acceleration plotted in 3D on this computer rendering engine Department. Don't wory about, however. Drawn to the ray 3D rendering engine is a minor element, and there are ways much better to use 3D in After Effects, especially with the help of Cinema 4 d, which is now part of the installation of After Effects:

  I just bought CC and started using After Effects to add text to a Premiere Pro project that I completed last night. I get the above error when I try to preview by pressing the space bar.

  I tried to import the project. I tried exporting the project as media and import that. I tried to use Import in the menu bar, drag / drop... I tried different formats, tried different media, no of files. I'm running a Mac Pro (quad core, 12 GB RAM) 2015, which I suppose is quite powerful. I'm not under any other software at the same time and tried to restart, reset the cache, etc.

  Searched and there are so many threads and no answers. I'll have to give up on After Effects, or I do something wrong?

  I think I found the question - audio apparently took a long time for mix - I saw the message in the Info Panel.

  It seems that it cannot fill the menu bar which can be a police problem or a customization tool, the locking bar. Sometimes it tools that allow to remap keyboard shortcuts or rearrange the menus. the issue of fonts, to check your fonts and remove potentially damaged those / garbage fonts you recently added.

  I have read other forums and watched tutorials. I did the following. (Not in the used order)

  1 decommissioning Magic Bullet Looks from 1.4.3 to 1.4.2 (did not work)

  2 upgrade Magic Bullet Looks to MBL 2.0 of Magic Bullet Suite 11 (did not work)

  3 uninstall my gfx card and re-install with the latest version (didn't work)

  4 reset the AE preferences by pressing alt + shift + ctrl on the shortcut (didn't work)

  5. change H.264 rendering parameters->. AVI (did not work)

  6. I deleted the "AE_OpenGL" of my After Effects file (didn't work)

  The skin file is not that complex, but I don't know if it'll help, but that's it.

  I've never had this problem before and hope someone has a solution to this problem... If so please post a reply. I don't know if its because I put the plug on all of my clips and then made an adjustment with an another Magic Bullet Looks layer or if it's my fault of clips but I don't know what to do.

  It seems that the looks hangs only on this project. If this is the case then it is probably a problem with one of your video clips. Either there is a corrupt frame or some other codec glitch which throw errors. I suggest you replace the elements of film with temporary images. You can even use solids. Replace one at a time, then cancel, until you find the film that causes the crash. Then re - compress this film to another codec or replace it.

  If looks are blocks on all types of images, then you will have to pursue other options that are more linked system.

• After Effects CC - errors of memory

  Recently, when I double click on a file of work After Effects to open it, I get an error titled error After Effects (7: 5): could not allocate enough memory to render the current image. The only way I can leave the program is ceasing force.  Another example is when I opened the work from After Effects. Sometimes it will work, but when I close the work I get a warning entitled: (76: 0) could not allocate 0.003 MB memory. I have enough memory on my computer to manage the work. This happens only on files with more than 2 layers.

  Please help as I have pending jobs because of it.

  The after effects CC (12,2) update solves this problem.

• Error 101: After Effects Cs6 trial (not enough free disk space)

  

  This is the error I get when I try to download the trial of After Effects. There are more than 500 GB of free space on my computer. Trials of Photoshop and Dreamweaver downloaded fine, and Fabrice howmany times I try to re-download After Effects, yet, it will not work. I tried to uninstall the photoshop and Dreamweaver tests, I moved the destination folder for download in several different files (ie: C, Desktop, users, etc) nothing works.

  Help, please.

  I downloaded this last night PDT successfully, using the default settings of the user folder.  I managed.  Maybe try to download again.

  Alternatively, you can use the steps listed in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to launch a direct download.
