This problem occurs because after a Minidump file is written, the paging file continues to have a flag that indicates that a Minidump file must be written.

If you receive this error message after every restart, you can follow this link and check if the problem persists.

Each of the last depressed, ibmfilter.sys is involved in error checking.

Still, the nature of the kernel stack overflow is that all these filter drivers may contribute to the problem.  Most of the attached drivers are Symantec drivers, it seems reasonable that remove the Symantec software would certainly take care of the issue.  However, remove the Chuck ibmfilter can free enough battery to avoid the problem as well.  Or update the drivers involved could also have an impact, if changes have been made to account for this type of situation.

  • Error "the system has recovered from a serious error".

I googled for explanations on the incident, but none of the directly applied results.

I often leave the computer on overnight. In this way a project open to something like Dreamweaver is still sitting here where I left it, ready to go. This morning when I turned on the monitor, the system was at the login screen. I also got the message "the system has recovered from a serious error". With no current process performance (except at idle), something happened during the night. Any recently installed software or hardware. And I keep the defraged the drive C and with enough free space. Good anti-virus and anti-malware software.

Any suggestions on how to better diagnose it and prevent it from happening again?

    Hello

The solution can be easy or difficult depending on the cause of the problem.

Check with a real store of the computer (not the leeks and the glances at a Best Buy or other stores)
    or HP support.

    ------------

    The Easy:

You still get the Bug_Check? Update the BIOS, chipset of low-level drivers and other large
device drivers. Those included in the recovery is very old in the time of the computer. (Do this to be
you still get the error or not.)

I had to remove the converter.exe via MS-DOS program because there is no other way to remove it without getting a blue screen. Also received blue screen when you try to use my scanner. When I click on send error report, it says that the error report has received a corrupted report and gives me some options, which make is running a system restore, the other being to go to control panel > Add/Remove programs and check the updates for the software that is installed and see if all the programs software updated and then run a diagnosis if the software is delivered with one. I recently received an update from Nero, but it is not listed in Add/Remove programs. I then ran restoration system a couple of times in safe mode, but still has no effect. Someone at - it ideas?

This phenomenon was related to iaStorA.sys Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver from Intel Corp.  It is a buggy especially with SSDS driver or hybrid.  I'd install the most recent driver available, even if it is the same date that drivers become corrupt.

If you have a SSD drive or hybrid don't forget to update the firmware and you really need to update to win 8.1, you will stop to get the updates bit of time if you do not have.

    Hello

Here is the Vista Forums, you send messages to.

Vista doesn't do not part of the update free Windows 10, so 10 would not settle.

My computer makes strange decisions. When I got off the computer for a long time and back I find message "Windows has recovered from unexpected shutdown" it happens only when I'm without my computer for an hour or more.

My Windows Vista 64 operating system

    Hello

Two ways to solve this problem, a point of view of sleep/hibernation and one of
the overall performance. Even if the two methods in common, you may need to use both.

1 I want to erase the General corruption and repair/replace damaged/missing system files:

Start - type this in the search box-> find COMMAND at the top and RIGHT CLICK – RUN AS ADMIN

Enter this at the command prompt - sfc/scannow

Panel configuration-Device Manager - look at the settings for the network card, WiFi, Modem power management.
and other devices. (Double click on the device and the power management tab)

Panel configuration-Control Panel Home view (non-conventional) in the top-right search pane
type of hibernation - see turn Hibernate on / off

All the default power plans and then set them as you wish.

    I hope this helps.

Hello, I have a problem with my laptop.  This has never happened before and just recently it spent d ' attribute.  I mainly use FireFox.  One day while browsing in the laptop froze as I began to browse Facebook with Internet Explorer.  It was frozen and stayed like that for over an hour.  The mouse icon showed something treatment but it shouldn't take an hour or more to process.  After pressing the power button to turn it off manually, I restarted.  A ran memtest that found no problem with the memory.  The HARD drive has been analyzed using System Mechanic for errors and claimed that fixed it.  I ran defrag my computer C:\ [Properties].  It froze again just by going to the homepage on FireFox.  After the reboot it froze after that came the message "Windows has recovered from a stop unexpected.".  I couldn't move the mouse, not capable of what be a right-click or bring up the Task Manager, but the mouse icon appears to show the transformation is done whenever I brought on the Windows error message.  What does that mean?  I've noticed more than a moment of mobsync.exe running when the system froze.

Laptop a 3gigs of RAM and an Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor.  For some reason any reduced by concerts every week HARD disk space.  I'll update more and give more detailed specifications as soon as I can get my hands on my other diagnostic software.
