Cybershot HX100V video...

I did my research on this device, but I'm not really looking the video capabilities a lot... all I saw was 'HD Vidéo' and I thought oh OK, fine, you really well! Well... If I knew that this camera shot the video in a format that will not play on ANY Media Player except the horrible software, with that camera came, I rethougt with my purchase! I LOVE this picture. But I wish there was a way to record videos of ol ' ordinary, no HD. I want to be able to record video and just open in Windows Media Player or something and be that! No problem! Instead, I can see the video but no sound unless I use the software unit PMB supplied with, which is TERRIBLE. Everything else I found online said to convert and when I did that the quality of the video went down WAY. I'm pretty well already know the answer to this question, but I want to just make sure, is there a way around this!

Try the video Lan Player play .mts files.

How you try to access videos?

You try to access the videos on the computer or the camera?

Your computer requires the codec appropriate to view the video on the digital camera.  Most of the videos taken with a digital camera is stored in. AVI format.  Normally, you get the CD of the software supplied with the camera. Check if you have the software on the CD and install the same or try to access the site for manufacturer of digital camera and try to download and install the software or codec.

  • DSC-WX150 will stop recording at 03:00 minutes when you use the HDMI video output

    Hello

    I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-WX150 camera.

When using an output HDMI cable to view the camera to a television screen, the video movie recording function to 3:00minutes exactly every time automatically stops.

When there is no HDMI cable plugged into the camera, it records fine 20 minutes.

I tried changing film formats, changing the power settings, camera reset the values by default, etc., but with no difference.

Why it only record at 03:00 minute exactly mark when you use the HDMI video output? Someone knows how to fix this?

    Thank you

    Hi tight,

Welcome to the community of Sony!

If I understand correctly, when you use your TV as a monitor while video recording automatically stops and does not cross the entire 29 minutes. Based on your manual, it is normal for the camera when it is connected to another device via the HDMI cable. This serves as protection for the camera.

  • Windows DVD Maker doesn't burn files .wmv/wlmp video high definition?

    Hey all,.

Long time user WMM, but with the recent switch to Win7, I'm having a hard time with WLMM.  In short, create the movie in WLMM is a snap.  Burn a DVD quality is another story.

I am using video clips high definition AVCHD from my new Sony CyberShot camera and showing the film on a Samsung 50 "720 p plasma.  If I burn a project WLMM created (Save Movie-> burn a DVD) and burn it in DVD maker, the quality is absolutely terrible on the plasma. It looks like an old VHS tape.  So, I guess the resolution 480 I saved is the problem.

So, if I save the project with high-definition (720 p - 1280 x 720) in WLMM and try to extract this file in Windows DVD maker, I get the error "0 files have been added.  1 file could not be added.  The \xxxxx\xxxxx\xxxxx.wlmp file is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported. "How is it possible that Windows DVD maker cannot burn a file created by its sister product Windows Live Movie Maker?  Am I missing something here, trying to extract a file to DVD Maker WLMM, or is it not possible?  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Just a thought...

. WLMP is only the Live Movie Maker file... what happens if you save
the Movie Maker project in the format video .wmv and then try to import

  • Can not see the video of sony cyber shot DSC HX7V files when connected to the PC

I took a few videos of my Sony cybershot camera DSC HX7V. I can see the video when I play through the camera. But when I connect the camera to the PC I can show only images. No video file is visible on the screen, so I'm unable to copy on my PC. I tried to plug the card directly to the PC to access the videos, but I have not seen. I also tried to connect the camera via USB to access the video and even once, I failed. Please help as I want to save them on my HARD drive for the future.

    Hi Sneha,

By default the hidden files and folders are not visible you must change the settings in folder options to see. You can view the steps in this link:

    I hope this helps.

  • MP4 not importing video files, audio only

When you import files Mpeg-4, video is a red screen, but I hear the audio. I tried to find a solution on the internet and found that I should upgrade QuickTime to the latest version, I did. All of the suggestions. If I can't get this to work, I would like a free mpeg-4 MPEG? converter so there.

Oh, and I use PE8 with the last update.

An extra point though: there are several models of Cybershot cameras, so I don't know if you are working with an arrival shoor low point or a high-end SLR.

Some of the more advanced cams record true AVCHD video. If this is the case with yours, you may well be able to change it if you have set up your project with the good preset AVCHD.

This is probably not the case with the Bloggie camcorder, however.

  • MP4 video format. Can it be converted to burning DVDs?

I pulled all my videos in MP4 (Cybershot DSC-HX50V) format, before I knew the difference between AVCHD/MP4 (20 days of vacation in South Africa). I discovered I should used AVCHD if I burned a DVD with the software PlayHome - and this format MP4 disk cannot be burn it to a DVD.  There are 3 third-party software that allows to convert, but it's fresh.  A simple solution to get my holiday videos on a disc for my friends and my family?  Thanks for your suggestions, Erinlad.

Nice day! You can try to search the Internet for video files free, software conversion. To burn MP4 on a DVD, you must have DVD authoring software installed on your computer, such as the DVD Architect Studio, NeroVision or Roxio Creator software. Other third party DVD authoring software can be compatible. Depending on the software you are using, there may be options to burn a DVD. To burn a DVD that can play in a regular DVD player, choose the video DVD option. Also, be sure to use a blank disc format that is compatible with your DVD player. Most of the DVD players support DVD-R format. You can use the engines of search (for example. www.Google.com, www.yahoo.com) to search for these software.

  • Cable USB DSC - TX5 will not export videos to HP Mini w/SD Slot

When I tried to use the USB cable from the camera to the computer, all I could see was the stills, no video. When I removed the flash the camera SD card and put it in the slot of the SD of the computer player, it worked perfectly with the software PlayMemories House.

Do not use the USB cable to download videos on computers with SD reader locations.

    Computer: HP Mini 210-1100

    OS: Windows 7 SP1

    Camera: Cybershot DSC - TX5

Please try to change the camera's USB mode. You can refer to the instructions below.

Of the four options, please select [storage]. Once done, connect the camera via a USB cable and use the PlayMemories home software to import pictures and videos.

  • is more able to stream video from some sites after the upgrade to Safari 10

After the upgrade to 10 Safari, I can no longer stream from a certain website. Instead of playing the video stream, I'm prompted to save "player.swf" as shown above.  This problem occurs on el Capitan, and it happens on the Sierra, and it all started when I updated Safari 9.x to 10.0

Open Safari preferences / Security tab and check the box allow Plug-ins.

Very soon of Flash player and the plugin will be obsolete and this web page needs to change its code to HTML5.
