Error: "can't find the software" when the LG Ally mobile is connected

Original title: download USB driver for LG Ally on Windows XP

I recently bought a LG Ally phone. I have it plugged into my laptop with the USB cord and my laptop shows that it does not find the software. I went into the Device Manager on the laptop and to update the driver and it still does not work... any suggestions?

We recommend that you contact LG to check if the LG Ally phone is compatible with Windows XP. If it is compatible, then get the LG software and install it.
