Impossible to uninstall logitech cam is not visible in programes but in Control Panel & Office

Hello goosey13,

If you have disconnected the camera and still get the error when you try to delete the files, I suggests that you install the program once more and then try to uninstall it from cleanup Windows utility like this can be caused by the installation of a part of the program.

  • Windows Disk Image recorder (error code 0x80004005)

My computer will no longer burn anything on disks.
I think that the registry is damaged, if everything else works perfectly. I don't think that my dvd drive has stopped because it burns well at the back of the discs lightscribe images. When the disc is finalizing, I get this error:

"the disk image has no burn successfully because an error occurred." (error code 0x80004005) ».

It stops immediately after. I want to reinstall "microsoft disc image recorder ' but its nowhere is located on the Web site." None of the automatic fixes they offer optimasation registry repair and they have for burning discs solves nothing.

"The device, \Device\CdRom0, has a bad block." is a little something to worry about, your CD-ROM drive is a combination of CD/DVD drive?  This error is usually the result of a failure CD drive, or if you're lucky, a pilot of defective material.

Earlier, I told you how to get the Device Manager.  There you can uninstall the suspect as CD/DVD players, restart and have windows rediscover.  This method will take care of all driver problem (hopefully).  Replacement of readers would be the next step for review.

As you have a Retail DVD you also have the possibility to do a Windows repair installation.  This would bring to your computer to the version of the DVD, for example, Service Pack 1, and other updates to Windows, may have to be redone.  Your programs and data are not lost, but it's a good idea to back up valuable data.

My windows media player is missing and my system is not let me reinstall it (error code 0x80004005 and 0x8007047F) how can I solve this problem? Thank you!

    Hi Trish,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forum!

Based on the information you gave it seems you found the error code 0x80004005 and 0x8007047F during the installation of Windows Media player.

If you have windows 7 installed, it is not possible to uninstall Windows Media Player 12. Windows Media Player 12 comes preinstalled with the operating system. You can not downgrade to Windows Media Player 11 in Windows 7.

I suggest you to follow the link and check if it is enabled or disabled, and then restart the computer to start windows media player 12.

  • File extraction gives the error code 0x80004005

I received a file compressed by e-mail.  The sender has tested the file successfully.  When you try to extract the file I get 2 messages.  Firstly, Windows can not extract because the destination folder could not be found.  Second error message 0 x 80004995.  I tried to move the file to another folder, but it's the same thing.  How can I fix these problems?

I don't know why you receive these error messages, and you can't find any information about the error code (be it in Bing, Google, or Microsoft Knowledge Base).

Try to use another program to extract the file.  Try 7-zip (which is free) to: http://www.7-zip.org/.  Maybe the extraction will work if you are not using Vista extraction program.

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows 7 Photo access & error Code 0x80004005

I can't get my Windows 7 Live Photo Gallery photos. I get error Code 0 x 80004005. Can't get in libraries where the peaks & etc. are. What is the fix for this problem. I suspect it has to do with all the updates that are coming in lately. Ran every scan security I. The only thing found & quarantined was with Lavasoft Ad-Aware analysis. It found Win32.Pup.Bandoo {800}. This is the culprit? Thank you!

    Hi LeroyCumbie

    1. don't you get the error only when you access Windows Live Photo Gallery?

    2. also facing the same error when opening the images using windows Explorer?

    Method 1:

You can perform a security scan and check if it lists any problems more. See the link below to make the scan-

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Method 2:

Also, if the problem is specific to Windows Live Photo gallery you can contact the Windows Live support team. I would recommend posting your query to community specific to Microsoft Windows Live. • Error code: 0x80004005 when you try to delete a .mkv file. Says that it is open in Windows Explorer.

While a move file was download of my browser (mozilla firefox) crashed and the download did not complete putting a partial file on my system.  I tried to open file to enter into competition with my DivX software more player and thought after a short so he received the message that I needed to update the codec files to open.  I have not hurt to open these types of files before and that's when I noticed the size of the file and understood that I didn't have a complete file.  Thus, tried to delete and that's when I get the error message saying that I can't remove it because another program was using in or the file is already open in Windows Explorer.  Can not understand this one.  Stupid me, I copied it and now I have 2 files I can't remove.  Checked in Task Manager thinking I could understand and ceased from Windows Explorer who lost only what was on my desk and I had to restart and hoped by rebooting might solve the problem.  Nothing yet, that is why I am seeking help...

    Hello

Were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?

Method 1 : delete the file in safe mode and check if the problem is solved or not.

Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.

Start your computer in SafeMode (Windows 7)

Method 2 : perform the steps in the article and check if the problem is solved or not.

    Why can't I delete a file or a folder?

    Hope that helps.
