Error code 2503/2502 trying to install iTunes or update Java.
Original title: Error Code 2503/2502.
I had to restore my computer to factory settings, and after I did I now get the error 2503 and/or 2502 code when trying to install iTunes or update Java.
I tried to install in a right click on the .exe and selecting 'run as administrator '.
I've seen other suggestions that say to check Windows Installer, but I searched for this on the computer and cannot find something called Windows Installer.
My computer is currently up-to-date with all the updates. I am running Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium edition.
You can check for any further development, because this post is quite old.
Your circumstances are the same as the original, poster or is there any new details, on which you can develop?
You get the same errors, if you create a new user and test with it?
