Error code 766f6c756d652e63 3f1 running CHKDSK

Since a month ago, CHKDSK will attempt to execute itself every time the computer starts. Then, after about one second it cancels out without doing anything.

The computer works fine, but it's boring, so I ran CHKDSK on mine and the error 766f6c756d652e63 3f1 came. In addition, argues the f parameter is not specified and now even won't work. I am running Windows 7 64 bit on an HP Pavilion dm4 notebook. I do not have a disc or Windows 7 because Windows 7 came with the computer.

I also run a memory test and all came back normal.

Anyone else facing this problem, press ESC during startup, and then look for a Startup Repair option. Let him do his thing and it will correct the problem.

I get the 0x8078012D error code when I run the Windows backup on an external hard drive.  I have Windows 7 Professional.  That suggests this error code is the problem and how can I solve the problem?

For people who read this thread, I offer the following information.  I solved the problem by noticing that the problem could have been caused, when the system image is created.  So I did a backup without creating the system image and backup is complete without error.

Then I used the backup program to create a system image.  This time error (0x8007045D) was displayed.   The error report says "the operation failed for a device error encountered with the source or the destination. If the volume of the source or the destination is on a disk, run CHKDSK /R on the source volume or destination and then try again using. »

So I ran chkdsk/r, and this program is a bad sector on the hard drive of my computer and fixed the error.  It took about an hour to run the program.  Now, the image of the system and the backup of data file work again.

So I think that the main cause of error (0x8078012D) is deborahgarbe of i/o error (0x8007045D).  So if you get the first error code you can search for fixes for the second error code fix the root cause.

    KasunA

Found a workaround.  The problem is that, before the 7695070 patch is applied, the installation program backup directory/apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk in /apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk_backup_existing_version, but then it clears. / jdk - the patch fails because it can't find it.  I had to rename the directory of the jdk for jdk2, and as soon as it gets deleted quickly and rename jdk2 jdk.  Then he applies the patches without problem.  A symbolic link would do the same thing.

  • Where can I find the codes output once run chkdsk when you restart?

Microsoft Search gives me tons of information on running chkdsk and the different options and the meanings of exit codes. I stumbled today on my D drive with the /f option requiring a reboot. I thought that Windows can display a screen or something after the reboot, showing the exit code, but no luck. None of the MS pages I've seen tells where to find the exit code. I have tried but no luck, the event viewer. Is there a log somewhere?

Exit codes are transitory in nature and generally are available for the following statement after the statement of chkdsk when included in a script file or .bat.  Event ID has nothing to do with the exit code.  CHKDSK has only four codes of output that are described here:
    "Microsoft Windows XP - Chkdsk"

It makes sense to use these codes if you write a script that checks the other readers that the drive of Windows OS, like windows in the car is always in use and cannot be verified before Windows (and ergo any script) is executed.  The information that you retrieved from the journal applications you said much more than the c code output.  If you need check the result of a Chkdsk operation powered by programming, you will need a tool such as "psloglist" to empty the log entry and scan from there.

    Hello

    ·        Since when are you facing this problem?

    Method 1:

You can run the check disk by booting in safe mode and check if that helps. To start in safe mode follow the link given below.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

Once you start mode without fail, try and run the disk check and check errors.

    Method 2:

If you are not able to run the check disk in safe mode, you will need to boot into the recovery console, and then run check say. To do this, you need the Windows XP installation disc. The enforcement procedure checks the disk in the recovery console.

    (a) Insert the Windows XP CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive and restart the computer.
Note: Click to select all of the options required to start the computer from the CD-ROM drive if you are prompted to do so.

    (b) when the "Welcome to Setup" screen appears, press R to start the Console history.
Note: If you have a dual-boot or multiboot, select the installation that you want to access from Console history.

    (c) when you are prompted to do so, type theAdministrator password. If the administrator password is blank, just C:.

    (d) to historic Console command prompt, type the following then C::

    Chkdsk /r

    (e) allow to run INTACT until the completion

    (f) report any error

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Windows 7 finds errors and recommend to run Chkdsk

I'm trying to find support on Windows 7 Beta, but the center of maintenance that comes with the beta version which brings me to the support site for Windows Vista. I commented and sent your comments, but was hoping to find a central forum for beta tests of Windows 7. I'll gladly re-post my question it if there is such a site.

My question (which also took place in Vista)

Windows 7 is to find errors with the file system and suggests that I have run chkdsk.exe. When I run chkdsk and the calendar to do a scan on the next reboot of the system, it does not scan, it just keeps loading in Windows 7. "chkdsk c: /F" then "shutdown - r-t 0".

Some sites offer boogered up to the Windows installation. In view of this, I ran ' SFC/scannow' to see what has been found. The journal reported the errors which could not be fixed and continued perusing newspapers showed some other issues such as "C:\Windows\System32\autochk.exe mismatched real file" which was found in what concerns the cause of problems with chkdsk.exe runs does not during the next reboot.

Any ideas, suggestions or words of wisdom?

n0manarmy, check out this forum: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/category/w7itpro/, more generally, on the technical side, but there should be enough traffic on it for everyone :)

With respect to the SFC, the following link will be able to help you to extract the information that you need to replace the corrupted files:

Some Windows Vista functions may not work, or Windows Vista may stop responding

How to analyze the entries in the log file generating the program Checker (SFC.exe) resources of Microsoft Windows in Windows Vista

Windows 7 is still in beta, so I'm sending this to you for educational reasons for most.

What about the chkdsk command, it is interesting that you're forcing the scan and then request a stop down.
What happens when you do a chkdsk /r and when asked to run this on the next reboot, type y, and then press ENTER.

It could be your order which is inaccurate here and not the program itself.

  • error snapshot when you run chkdsk on CSV

Hello. I have a cluster WS2012R2 Hyper-V using CSVs stored on EQL.

I was testing things and you are supposed to be able to run chkdsk C:\ClusterStorage\ /scan while the CSV volume is online (not in maintenance or redirected access mode).

    However, I get this error:

    PS C:\Users\admin > chkdsk C:\ClusterStorage\CSV1 /scan
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    The parameter is incorrect.

A snapshot error occurred during parsing of this disc. Run a scan offline and difficulty.

    What I did:

-on all the cluster nodes connected to the vss-control volume

-Kit of HIT, 'PS group access' group, said including access VDS/MVS (I also tried adding access Smart Copy, but that shouldn't be necessary, no?)

-sure there is a reserved snapshot set to the EQL volume (there was error different when I snapshot holds the value 0 before)

Any ideas what the problem is? There are no further details in the event log.

If Joe suggestions do not help, TI, maybe the chkdsk command knows not how to deal with a snapshot to support him.  He expects a local vss snapshot is available.

  • 0xc000000fb solutions to this error code must be running in safe mode or stop crashing

very annoying is not good for the soul! any help would be great... must be free however!

I find it curious that a Google search of your error code come up with zero hits.

As MS Answers still don't ask for information when a new question is asked, the best response to emerging issues is a wasted messages cycle and time to get additional information.

Perhaps you should tell us a little about your system:

What is your system brand and model?
What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..
The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)
The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?
You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

Your system seems to start OK and then crash or didn't he start not at all?

If your system works fine, what do you think might have changed since the last time it worked correctly?
Can you make the system crash when you want?  For example, you would say that there is no specific system activity that coincides with the accidents (like watching videos, playing games, etc.).
If your system uses to work properly, what do you think has changed sine the last time, he did not work properly?

The next time your system crashes, provide more information on what you see.
Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:
Send for the nose and the Red arrows (3 to 4 lines total).
Send all * line STOP message since there are clues in the 4 parameters.
If there is a name of the file listed in the STOP message, don't forget to include this information too.

    Hi Jay,.

If you have deleted and renamed all the files mentioned above must install, if there are any file will not run the full installer and the installation program will give up to halfway.

However if is not install I would suggest that you contact our support teams CHAT/PHONE as they can remotely in you machine and check the root cause of the problem.
