Code800F900 'unknown error in windows update' trying to download windows vista service pack 2
try to download windows vista service pack 2. Last update was on May 21, 2010. For a few weeks or months, the computer can be terribly slow. Often a hard drive rattle sound. For this, I tried anti-spyware, last week I installed and ran AdAware from lavasoft. It found nothing except two small cookies. A few weeks earlier, I had done the same thing using windows Defender. Also nothing. Along with a check disk hard I did not find much either. What end of the lifecycle for this computer, now about 3 years? He was one of the first available vista computers. Thank you for your help, Peter

Win 8: Download Windows Update is not go beyond 0 KB 0%
I am struggling with the Windows updates on a new laptop pre-installed with Win 8.
The update process and associated tasks seem inconsistent and application to (re) - testing.Among the many questions that I meet (1: see below) as much, I noticed the sustainable "the download progress (0KB - 0%). "in the Windows Update window.
I first thought that the server is too busy or my internet connection is bad.
I also pointed out that troubleshooting Windows Update fixed some bad configurations without success. Finally, I noticed also that, while 0% complete is displayed, there are certain activities related to the update process:
- very busy disk
- Windows Modules install busy Worker (TiWorker.exe)
- Directory of C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download showing the creation and deletion of directories
So, what happens in the background at this time? Why win 8 should behave this way? What it actually does?
After a long time, 15 minutes or more depending on the number of updates in anticipation that you select, the update process finally downloads of files and the installation takes place.
I would like a detailed explanation of the whole process that is different from the behavior of Win 7.
Thank you

-In addition, only CURRENT products will be tested and updated for compatibility with Windows 10
- so if you have an older program, update you to Windows 10 at YOUR risk of problems
-You can get CS6 and previous programs to install and run, or you can not (some do, some don't)
An idea that MAY work to install or run some programs in Windows 10 old... works for some, not for others
- or run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL permissions can help... said yet, but sometimes it is necessary for all Adobe programs (this is same as using an administrator account)
