  I installed and configured DEM 11.1.2.1 on a Windows Server 2008 computer on a SQL 2008 R2 SQL database.
  
  I have successfully started the service and after repointing of the IIS to the correct directory structure (was originally wwwroot) customer web page loads.
  
  I try to connect using the admin user and configuration of password in configuration steps and I get the following error:
  
  The server returned an error: DRM-63017: Session does not exist
  
  I get what that means really, but without success so far, someone can help?

  I have a sample application trying to read encrypted f4v content.  This works for iOS and fine office devices.

  I created a sample application that loads the movie.f4v.metadata file just as DRMContentData and using the DRMManager (which is being supported).

  It produces the following error:

  Edit: 3314 means FLV header invalid, but the same code and the same metadata file can be used on the desktop and on iOS.  I tried with several different policies as well.

  This seems to indicate a bug if things worked before, and now that you have successfully updated your certificates, Android does not then what iOS/Desktop do.

  Can you ask a new set of certificates and try this route?

  Right now I'm working on the DRM installation and configuration of the latest version on Windows 2012 Standard R2 11.1.2.4.

  I set everything up, but each time tried registry registry EMP, we get an error ' DRM-61045: there is no bridge CSS process running for this application.

  When I had checked the event log, it showed that the error message:

  I think we could have actually just identified this as a bug & it is sought in the moment. I've found over the past week that it work if the CSS bridge component works on Server 2008 but the rest of the components running on the server 2012. If you also get the below error where the log on the computer where the bridge CSS tries to start, I think you have the question that I got at a glance:

  In order to get the CSS bridge running in another Server 2008 box (which works as a temporary measure for me), you need to:

  1. install and configure services foundation on a separate computer to Server 2008

  2. install the bridge of CSS of DRM on the Server 2008 machine (but do not configure the console configuration of DRM).

  3 Configure tab CSS of the DRM on Server 2012 box configuration console to point to the Server 2008 box (Configuration > host Machines > CSS > General > CSS bridge host).

  4. make sure that DRM service is started on the Server 2008 box and then start the DRM service on box Server 2012

  5. I hope that you will see the drm-netjnibridge process - start host.exe in Server 2008 box if you check the Task Manager and you will be able to use CSS users

  I tried all the other possible permutation I could think of to get the process of drm-netjnibridge - host.exe started the 2012 server, but without success. I hope this helps.

  I updated win xp home edition from sp2 to sp3. Also updated for Windows Media Player 11. WM11, I cannot sync to my mp3 player that I could use this feature in sp2 and the latest version of WM. Sometimes it will play music on the mp3 player, but close WM11 after a period short piece. When WM11 opens, I choose a song and play music for a brief period before an error box appears stating windows media must be closed due to erroer or error DRM Setup utility. Sometimes, it closes when you click on a song without any error message that appears. Updates that I updated to Windows Media. Have not tried burning / ripping any CD or adding new music to the library. Just try to play files of current music and trying to put music on an mp3 player. MP3 player is a simple player RCA 'Pearl '. Nothing complicated. Never had any problems before WM11. Can roll back to WM 9.5 (I think)... but no sync button. WM 10 does not able to download Pack SP3. Don't know what to do. Questions about this on the Microsoft Web site do not meet my windows media problems.

  Thanks for the reply. I uninstalled WMP11. Old version had the ability to sync... just had to learn to move into the old version... different screen. I'll go back and try your method.

  Dear anyone, I had the same problem. One day, my sound card / audio just stopped. X red on the sound icon. My CD/DVD worked fine but no sound. I uninstalled the sound card, updated drivers... everything I could find... nothing worked. I run only Vista 32 bit with a Realtek AC 97 integrated sound. Looked on the forums and read and I tried for weeks hoping to not have to reformat. Finally, I got in the registry and lucky. Here's what I did: Device Manager: uninstalled all the sound stuff. I kept getting this: Microsoft Kernel DRM Audio Descramber Microsoft Streaming Clock Proxy Microsoft responsible for quality Proxy Microsoft Service Proxy Microsoft Tee/receiver-to-Sink Converter Realteck AC 97 I uninstalled all that sort of thing. Then to regedit and see below Regedit navigate to: HKeyLocalMachine\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class {4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} ON RITE PANE... I deleted: for FILTERS LOW Dword value (Mine was something that read like LVUSB or some such), I restarted and did not leave Windows Installer automatically... don't leave... it will give you everything _ mentioned above. I reinstalled my sound of a pack of Realtek for Vista. Lo and behold... sound is back. Vista still hate the pilot but did before cuz Vista sucks... but it works like any other so... screw it!   I have a HP pavilion dv5230ca laptop, under XP (SP3) with Wi - Fi and purchased in August 2006.  I would like to listen to audio books through our online library.  To do this, I downloaded the Overdrive Media Console application that is required.  When I perform the Windows Media Player Security Upgrade, which is required before any audio books can be downloaded on my computer, I get an error message: "this is a problem to retrieve the identification of digital rights management machine.  Contact Microsoft technical support.  When I go on the Microsoft site, it says if it is a software problem and the computer was purchased with the software already installed, and then contact the manufacturer (HP).  Before talking to someone at HP, I checked in your forum, but there seems to be no reference to my specific problem.

  The only info I can add is that this laptop had an accident in 2007 and we took it to a professional to be restored.  Everything went well with it, except for this problem.  (I can't tell if this problem would have occurred before the accident that I tried to access the audio books so far).

  I found a solution to my problem.  I find the DRM folder on my computer (it is a hidden file, so first go to windows Explorer, tools, folder, view tab options, is selected * Show hidden files *, deselected * Hide protected operating system files).  Then to C/documents and settings / all users, and there it was.  Renamed * DRM.old* then through the procedure to update the Windows Media Player Security Update in the Overdrive Media Console software and update was successful and was able to download audio books immediately.  I hope this helps others.
