  I had this problem reolved. For anyone who was wondering I finally found my phone activated with my SIM and the error disappeared.

  I just had a Cingular Treo 680 UNLOCKED. I'll use it in Canada with Fido. If I apply the 2.11 update, it re - lock the phone? If so, can I just get the 680 camera update (January 2007), DST update (February 2007) and Treo 680 software update 1.09 (May 2007) separately?   The only thing to do would be to format and reinstall the OS.  It's a little extreme, but it should work.  I'm sorry, but that's the last thing I know to try.  If you try this, make sure that you back up all your data.  Good luck.
