  HP LaserJet M1536dnf MFP C24F1A.  I have a new Dell inspiron N7110 computer Windows 7-64 bit.  Switch from a USB connection to a wired (Ethernet network connection).  Everything works including network, printing, scan etc, except that I can't get my HP ToolboxFX to work.  I get an error message-

  I had this message until I changed my Ethernet connection but I would just restart and it works.  Nowi tried both restart the box tool and restart my PC and it does not work.  Any ideas? Is this a windows problem? Help, please.

  Try follow it and see if it works for you.

  • Please go to the following C:\ProgramData\Hewlett-Packard\ToolboxFX\Settings directory
  • In this directory, remove all files in the folder settings.
  • Restart the pc and restart the printer.

  * This can happen when the IP address has changed or the printer had lost communication and been re-connected.

• With XP ToolboxFX error

  This question seems to have received response for Win7 users, but those answers don't resolve, as far as I know, the problem for XP users.

  You know the situation: a window appears indicating that HP ToolboxFX has encountered an error and can not recover.  The (presumed) solution is to restart ToolboxFX or re-boot the PC.  Or what works and don't re - install the s/w.

  The lower part of her has pop-up windows: Win32NT - 5.1.2600.196608 HP ToolboxFX version 006.007.00770

  Any thoughts?

  Hi Richard,

  Try this:

  1. go to C:\Documents and Settings\all users\application data\hp\ToolboxFX\settings

  2. delete the folder "Settings."

  3. restart the PC

  4 reopen ToolboxFX

  I could solve the problem of the box tool. Here's what I've got I did system restore then I redownloaded the software of the printer.

  Then I went to the C:\ProgramData\Hewlett-Packaed\ToolboxFX\Settings

  Then I deleted all the info in the settings folder.

  Then, the Toolbox has worked and the error messages went.

  So by the system restore to a date before I downloaded the Toolbox software that did not work I think I've eliminated all this software

  I have a laserjet pro cm1415fnw.  I set it up with a USB drive directly to my computer (not on a network).  A few months ago my toolbox fx stop working.  I get a message saying "HP ToolboxFX has encountered an error and can not recover."  I tried to reinstall the software again directly from the CD and online.  I even had a rep online walk me through the process and software to reinstall by e-mail.  I combed the forums for other solutions, but nothing works!  Help, please!

  Hi, I searched some forums and found this script below which I modified. It works great except for a single statement:

  runScript If = 1 then number error -128 I want the script to do is, when a USB drive is mounted and is in the ignoredVolumes as "USB Untitled" I want the script to stop. What I can't understand is, runScript is set to 1, "Untitled USB" Monte, runScript is not changed, why don't the script stops with an error "user cancelled"? On the other hand, if a key USB Monte is not in the ignoredVolumes, runScript is set to 2 and copy the file I want it. What hurts? It's probably something that will be very obvious when I see the answer.

  Great job to test mode without failure. In Safe Mode disables most of the third-party services, it could be a compatibility problem with an application that you have. Check out this article:

  You can not hold account that the title suggests it's to El Capitan. It applies to macOS Sierra as well.

  You can also test the issue in a new user account.

  I found the solution. Just type here for others with the same problem to solve their problems.

  While the "iTunes with cable" sign is showing and in your computer, showing you "Waiting for iPhone" and things occur, you should restart your iPhone (hold sleep/wake low and low home together for a few seconds) implemented after this attempt to restore your iPhone again you should recover your iPhone software.
