  When you went into MSCONFIG, how many programs/processes have you been able to shut down?

  I suggest also running SystemEssentials, especially their Process Explorer. If you can provide us with either the report of Process Explorer, or do some screenshots of what the Task Manager indicates that your programs and processes running, we should be able to find some who can always be disabled, or can see the one that gets in the way.

  From the outset, I must admit that I'm not the best to search the Internet to find answers to complex computer problems (or at least complicated for me). I did my best to try to find help or information to the problem I'm having, but ended up only more confused and frustrated.

  I was able to run to first Elements 9 on my old PC (Windows 7 - home page) for a while with no problems. However, just last week I did splurge on a PC brand new (Windows 10) and can't get Premiere Elements to function properly at all.

  My problem:

  Premiere Elements will be charge. The program opens. He will ask me to name my new project, I do it, and then it does nothing. It does not load a project timeline/layout / anything. It is just an open window and empty. All menu options for what that this either in the upper part are all grayed out - apart from the creation of a new project, open a project and help options. Create a new project does nothing - as I have already said. I have no plans to open it, I find myself with options here. If I try to open one that I named in my attempts to get the program working, I get a notice of a serious error causing elements that need to close.   I downloaded this file/additional patch for Elements 9.

  BEFORE the 11 installation with error failure "the installation process has encountered an error during the installation of the shared technologies.   I'm trying to install Adobe first 10 items for my Mac. I'm having a problem where, when the Setup program tries to install "AdobeHelp" is completely stops the installation. It looks like this.

  I downloaded Adobe Download assistant foolishly choose to not install at this time and now he's sitting on my desk with absolutely no menu to use

It would not open, even if it had before.  I have been on a downward slide since then.  My feeling is this: you put the disc in, click once coupla and it works!  I downloaded more crap from Adobe (Air, twice; QuickTime, twice; Nursery application, twice: Download Wizard, even creative cloud) in vain pursuit to install something that could be really easy but not for reasons unknown.  I 'installed' PRE STI64 Installer - twice;  It just sits there with the Wizard download as two pieces of clay. There is no menu to allow me to use it. It's the .exe file only that I could find in the folder PRE12.

  I want to emphasize that I love PES 12, I'm not a critic of the software, I don't have any score to settle; In short, I am an ally, but this business with the premier elements leads me to madness.  I spent hours, hours of frustration with this project.

  Yet one thing, I can't find a way to change my username and remove my email address.

• Installation problem.  First elements 11.

  So just picked up first items 11.  Try to install on my deskstop.  Windows 8, i7, 16 GB of ram etc etc.  A lot of power to run this program.
  Loads of disk, autoplay.  I select 'install first elements 11' selection of the language, some install windows set up thing appears, works a progress for a second bar, and then it appears.

  I click on ok at the bottom and nothing!  I tried to cancel the registration/Reregistration windows installer, tried a different admin account.  Im just at a loss to know what to do now.

  Disc 1 contains the installer for 32-bit Windows.

  Disc 2 contains the installer for Windows 7 64-bit.

  Disc 3 contains the installer for mac OS.

  Disc 4 is the content of the disc for Windows Adobe Premiere Elements.

  Disc 5 is the content of the disc Adobe Premiere Elements for Mac OS.

  You can install from Disc1, 2 or 3 depending on the operating system running on your computer.

• Installation of first elements problem

  I recently bought Adobe Photoshop and first Elements 10 bundle in a store and installed on the Windows XP SP2 computer.  I ran to the first elements 1 and Adobe Photoshop CS and uninstalled first elements 1 before installing version 10.  The installation ran without errors and has reported a successful installation.  During the launch, the Welcome screen appears, and options buttons change color on mouseover, but after clicking on one of the buttons in the application crashes.  The buttons are no longer change color and must be killed with the Task Manager to close the Welcome screen.  Other windows applications continue to work normally.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled with the same results.
