Installation of first elements problem

I recently bought Adobe Photoshop and first Elements 10 bundle in a store and installed on the Windows XP SP2 computer.  I ran to the first elements 1 and Adobe Photoshop CS and uninstalled first elements 1 before installing version 10.  The installation ran without errors and has reported a successful installation.  During the launch, the Welcome screen appears, and options buttons change color on mouseover, but after clicking on one of the buttons in the application crashes.  The buttons are no longer change color and must be killed with the Task Manager to close the Welcome screen.  Other windows applications continue to work normally.

I uninstalled and reinstalled with the same results.

    While you are entitled to two simultaneous/activations facilities with your single-user for first elements 11 license, you are supposed to be the main users of the computer with both facilities and therefore not to implement two facilities simultaneously.

    you and your MOM both cannot be the only one user allowed for first elements.  and, in the scenario that you have developed, you may as well use first elements simultaneously.

  • Installation of first Elements

    When installing elements 11 on my laptop Windows 7 first, I get to the destination drive section and change my drive c: (system files) on my drive d: (data).  Clicking next the installer tells me that the c: drive not space.  I do not want to save it in the c: drive, but it will not record the change.  Can anyone suggest how I can get it to recognize that I want on the d: drive?

    You can try the suggestions below:

    1. make sure that the system meets the minimum requirements

    2 remove already installed application files.

    3. check the CD drive and CD-ROM.

    4. install Photoshop Elements or Adobe Premiere Elements from the desktop.

    5 install the current Windows service packs and other updates

    6. install Photoshop Elements or Adobe Premiere Elements in a simplified mode.

    7. install as an administrator.

    8. install in a folder at the root of the hard drive.

  • Installation problem.  First elements 11.

    So just picked up first items 11.  Try to install on my deskstop.  Windows 8, i7, 16 GB of ram etc etc.  A lot of power to run this program.
    Loads of disk, autoplay.  I select 'install first elements 11' selection of the language, some install windows set up thing appears, works a progress for a second bar, and then it appears.

    I click on ok at the bottom and nothing!  I tried to cancel the registration/Reregistration windows installer, tried a different admin account.  Im just at a loss to know what to do now.

    Something on your system is preventing access to the registry and temporary folders. What it is that we cannot know. Also, make sure your Windows Update. These errors often appear when an update is badly spent and damaged the installer...

    Disc 1 contains the installer for 32-bit Windows.

    Disc 2 contains the installer for Windows 7 64-bit.

    Disc 3 contains the installer for mac OS.

    Disc 4 is the content of the disc for Windows Adobe Premiere Elements.

    Disc 5 is the content of the disc Adobe Premiere Elements for Mac OS.

    You can install from Disc1, 2 or 3 depending on the operating system running on your computer.

    1 - is the mic function in other Audio capture programs?

    You can try to adjust the microphone as default and check if the problem persists.

    a. right click on the volume icon in the tray and then click "recording devices".

    b. make a right click on the empty spot in the window pop up, and select "Show disabled devices" and "show disconnected devices".

    c. right click on Microphone and then click 'enable '.

    d. highlight the microphone, then choose "Set as Default Device".

    e. click apply and then click ok.

  • I d/l both photoshop and first elements 14 for 64-bit windows.  Installation is done in what concerns the extraction of files...

    I downloaded the Bundle Photoshop elements 14 and first elements 14 for 64-bit windows.  The installation gets as much as self-extracting files, giving me the opportunity to run or open the folder that contains the files, and then tells me to restart may be pending, so restart the computer and repeat the installation process. After that, it gets as much again and if I click on ignore after the r/s message, he stops and tells me to download a nonexistent program fromadobe to solve the problem.  He does this for items as well photoshop and first. Apparently I should call adobe during the hours of assistance.  I work during the opening hours. Records of installation of the GZ files which mean nothing to me.

    Desperately seeking help. Refund for downloaded software is impossible.

    I tried to uninstall and then reinstall nothing helped. It is a combination of PS elements / first drive elements.

    Well, I'm tired of dealing with the headaches and erased my disk, reinstalled windows 7 64 bit and installed the programs one by one to make sure that there are no errors. Only when I installed Photoshop Elements 10 and first Elements 10 I did it the same way I installed CS2 on Win 7 64 bit. I used the C:\PROGRA~2\Adobe installation path. PROGRA ~ 2 is the name of BACK for my Program Files (x 86) directory. Everything has been installed without a hitch. I had heard that there was some older products from Adobe who had problems with the way in which the program files (x 86) that directory was named. Who knows? His works now.

    If you had installed the trial version, then you can only use the serial number of your DVD to activate to use fully.  The only thing that limits the free trial to be exactly the same as the full version is the time limit.  When you activate the trial version, the delay is removed.

    This isn't Adobe. Instead essentially a user to user forum. Your son is currently in the Adobe Premiere elements Forum.

    I've never seen, recording is not the same as product activation (requiring a purchased serial number), although the two are often held at the same time.

    You need to deal with what you have - a number series bought and installation files or installation disk. Since you first Elements 9, you are far beyond any guarantee for the product which is now within 14 days of purchase from Adobe directly for download.

    It seems to me that you see would include trying to resolve your situation through the usual exercise...

    1 are you sure that the serial number you are using? Is the serial number that you are using display with your product in your account on the Adobe website?

    2. remote do you have in the first elements 9.0 install? A uninstall you / free ccleaner Cross (regular and register cleaner parts), reinstall it with antivirus and firewall disabled? Have you included the 9.0.1 download and install. This can be done with the program closed.   For Windows Adobe - Premiere Elements: for Windows: Premiere Elements 9.0.1 update

    3. you run programs as an administrator (from account user with administrative privileges)?

    You have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer, what operating system... If Windows 10, then Windows 7 bit, 8 or 8.1 64 7.7.6... if QuickTIme and QuickTime 7.7.8.

    4. the video graphics card is up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card? Sometimes a day card is not enough, then deleting the file BadDrivers.txt could be a life saver.
