Error message for HP w2207h 80070005 Windows Update

My computer tried to update this error since it was released (it says August 2009). There are questions apparently similar to this, but when I go there the error code is different from mine, or their using another operating system or browser. No idea how I can install this update?

Hi theodorecamile,

I suggest the following steps.

Step 1

Reset update windows components, then try to install the updates.

How to reset the Windows Update components?

Step 2

Enable the persistence of user data in Microsoft Internet Explorer.

1. open Internet Explorer.
2. in the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. click on the Security tab, and then click Internet.
4. click on custom level.
5. in the settings dialog box, scroll down to the Miscellaneous section.
6. in Userdata persistence, click Activate.
7. click OK twice

Previous post: the result.

I followed the suggestions and nothing worked. I've done the following with the last thing that I have tried to point 4.
Is there a combination of the below, which must be followed for Windows download did not work since December?
I think to remove Explorer and put it back?  What do you think?

Surely Microsoft would like us to quickly fix this error because it does not show them in a good light.  I mean you download an update and Vista is back with another error.

We're told because than Vista (and it seems any product microsoft) is not properly checked before release, then we users have to put up with all the lost time trying to correct errors.

    Individually, I have:

    1. I checked that I am the administrator.

    2. I tried closing all my firewall and all the protection against the Virus and then tried Windows update without result.

    Hello ShawnKohl,

We can also try to go back to a time where he worked with system restore.

Once this has been done, check the hat of Windows updates are available and hide the audio driver updates that are available.
