Error message when launching Photoshop CS5

Whenever I run the Photoshop CS5 application, I get the following error message: "one or more files in the Adobe Application Support folder, necessary for the operation of Photoshop, are missing.  Run the Photoshop Installer and re-install Photoshop. »

Re-installation of Photoshop is not correct the problem. AFAICT, Photoshop will run normally, despite the error message. I assume that this message was born because I uninstalled a previous Photoshop CS4 trial version before installing CS5 for the first time.

Does anyone have an ideal how to solve this problem? Is this really a problem? What are the files must be in the Adobe Application Support folder?

What you might try is to uninstall the CS5 and then run the Creative Suite cleanup tool.  Then reinstall CS5.

  • Error message when launching simple games

    When I try to run a simple game, I get an error message "Attempt to access an invalid address." This happens to most, but not all of my games.

    I tried to reinstall one of the games and got the same error message when I launched the setup.exe file.  It's never happened before.  These are old, simple games such as Solitaire and Jezzball.  What does the error message mean and how can I solve this problem?

    Thanks for the help.  Just as you were posting, I found a solution.  I, too, suspect Spyware, but a Virus scan and Spyware scan revealed nothing.

    A week ago, I had the help of my provider of security in the removal of a virus (PC Defender).  During the session, the technician ran a freeware program called Cleanup to remove the 'useless' my hard drive files.  I suspect that some of the deleted files were not so useless.  I ran a restore of the system back about 2 weeks.  This seems to have solved the problem.

    I get the following when starting CS3 error message:

    "This application has failed to start because CML4.dll was not found."

    The title of the window is, "Photoshop.exe - impossible to locate item.

    Of course, the only button to push is the 'OK' button (which should probably read - something f - d upwards.) Press here to continue.) After pressing the OK button, CS3 starts and works without problem - until now.  I guess that I have not actually used the part of the program that uses CML4.dll or do not see the difference with or without it.

    How can I solve this problem - without having to reinstall PSCS3? and why is it in the first place?

    CML4.dll is not part of Photoshop.

    It could be a driver of printer or scanner driver DLL, or perhaps by a third party plugin.

    I just downloaded and installed Photoshop CC for my computer windows 8 and every time I click on the application it comes up with a message saying there was a problem with the license of this program and restart my computer. It is also said that if the problem persists I contact support and advise them of the error code (213:19).

    I restarted my computer several times and I still get the same error. I tried to contact support and was in a queue of more than 30 people. I have to go and collect my children so there is no way I can wait in the queue.

    My computer is less than a week so I know this isn't that.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Try to run Photoshop with the SHIFT key is pressed and skip loading part tird plug-in and try to use the Board contact II.  A version of plug-ins from third parties have been known to break Photoshop Scrippting.

    Start by downloading the full package of driver from here: HP Officejet full feature and driver software

    If you have recently downloaded this driver package, you may be able to skip this step. If you have problems with the steps below and impossible to find a directory, you must re-download the driver pack and launch the exe.

    1. disconnect the USB from the computer printer.

    2. now, go to start > run > and type folder

    3. search for any record label hp_web_release or 7z

    4 inside of this folder, navigate to the 'util' directory > directory 'ccc '.

    5. in there, run Uninstaller_L1 through L4 in order.

    6. check Add/Remove programs in the control panel for additional HP programs that have not been deleted and delete.

    7 remove the HP or Hewlett-Packard directory in Program Files.

    8 Goto Program Files > common files and remove the HP or Hewlett-Packard directory there as well.

    9. Select start > run and type "temp". inside this folder, delete all the files.

    10. Select start > run and type "%temp%". inside this folder, delete all the files.

    11. now restart and reinstall the driver using the driver from the web.

    Let me know if that solves the problem.
