Error "missing or undetected print cartridges.

This became apparent today, after working fine yesterday. I used: pull and re - insert boot downwards and upwards, open and close door firmly, change both cartridges but it still does not show this. Help, please.

The fixed! You hold the start and cancel and once you get a new image in the window LET GO. Then push green blue grey, blue, blue, green and you're good to go. Not sure why I needed to reset.

I went through all the troubleshooting steps on the site, no solution.

Can't the list of possible locations of repair on the HP website.

Any ideas, other solutions possible? /

    Hello

You must call HP@8004746836 to get the printer paired.

Also, I suggest you do a hard reset with the printer.

    Hard Reset:

    Take out the toner cartridges.

Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall

    Wait for 30 seconds

Plug the power cord into the printer and the wall (be sure that the printer is plugged into the wall and not a surge protector)

Replace the toners/cartridges in the printer

I turned the printer on several times, taken the cartridges, placing them again, and nothing helps. Any advice?

There is a document for the Photosmart C4280 concerning cartridge messages are missing. You can find the document here.

    I hope this helps.

  • OfficeJet 6300 all-in-One, the error message which is print cartridge is open

I use my all-in-one HP Officejet 6300 as a standalone Copier, because he's too old to install it on my Windows 7. Now, I get the error message that the print cartridge door is open. I can't find any door open but can not use the machine until I get rid of this message.

I solved my problem by placing a heavy book on top of the printer. Apparaently, something is a little out of place and the book guard door is closed properly. Not a very technical solution, but it worked for me

  • Get the error that the my printer cartridge is incorrect.

Original title: printer does not print

I have an error message on my printer tells me I have a cartridge incorect and the message also said the cartridge in the right store not supported.

I took the cleaned cartridge, it is always impossible to use my printer.i always use the correct cartridges I had these ones a few weeks and have been using them without any problem.

It is not a Windows problem.

If you went to the support section of the website for your printer of mystery and searched your all also unrevealed error message, you will find probably the printer manufacturer's advice would be to buy a new ink cartridge "authentic".

For some printers, you can also find advice on cleaning the contacts in the printer (in addition to cleaning the ink cartridge).

If you would like that I (or anyone else here) to search for these notices, please specify the brand and model of your printer, and the full text of all error messages, without paraphrasing.

I just bought this (to Japan). I get the message "Remove and reinstall the ink cartridge, ensuring that it is properly installed, and then tap ok" stated for the BLACK cartridge.  I was able to print in blue with color for alignment, but this messge is not going away. I see that this practice is common if I look on the Internet. But why. I has not yet touched the sheet after removing the cartridge? • The faulty or incorrect error for D6160 message print cartridge

The message said: I have some incorrect cartridge somehow. The cartridge is a good HP363 one and me the printer is off, found another adequate cartridge, reinstalled the driver... does anyone know what I can do? I'm not very brave to take the thing apart to examine its bowels! I think that this problem is not uncommon, but this is the first time, it happened to me.

So more than likely it's a problem with the printer print head I will assume with the age of this printer that is no longer in warranty. If it were, HP would be able to replace it. Not being in the guarantee, then unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done to solve this problem.

    Sorry,

    Kyle

  • HP C4180 (regionalization) printer cartridge error

I recently moved to HK (Hong Kong) to UK (United Kingdom). I bought my printer in Hong KONG, following my move, I bought a new HP printer cartridges original, to the United Kingdom, they are not accepted by the printer which generates the error "one or two print cartridges are not intended for this printer.

The cartridges are the originals of (expensive) HP and reading online suggests that this seems to be due to codes of regionalization. But there is no way I can find to update the code of regionalization.

What is the solution to this, it should be an obvious problem, the support team has met and one that should be automatic and easy to solve.

    Best regards, Manish

Please don't say as follows :-)

    (1) change printers!

  • HP Photosmart D110 print cartridge incompatible

I bought a new cartridge black today and when I installed it, I got an error message saying "Incompatible print cartridge". He says refer to the status screen on the computer, but it is not a. I put the old cartridge back in and I have no problem but there is no ink to print. I installed the once many new, reset the printer, cleaned the contacts, tried some troubleshooting and I even downloaded the updated driver. Nothing has worked. Just make the cartridge to where I bought it, or is there something else I can try?

    Thank you for your response.

I had already read and followed everything on the document you provided. I have to go to the retailer, I bought and exchange it. I made sure that the new cartridge was not the same dates as the first. I installed it and it worked fine.

Again, thank you for taking the time to answer.

  • HP officejet 7580 print cartridge error message

I have a HP officejet printer 7580 all-in-one with the error message "the following ink cartridges appear to be missing or damaged. Magenta (M) "I followed the instructions on the HP site troubleshooting, first changing the magenta cartridge, clean the electrical contacts on the print head, then replace the printhead and I still get the same error message.» I then removed the cartridge yellow and still only had the same error message about the magenta cartridge, even after restarting the printer. In my view, that it must be a problem with the software or the chip of the computer on the printer itself. Someone at - it suggestions for me?

Looks like you did a lot of troubleshooting for the cartridge error number.  The areas of print head and cartridge are separated in the OJ series L7580 printer, so the effect print head not this error.  The error comes from the electrical contact with the cartridge in question, appears magenta of the post.

Follow the steps described in the document, found here, to solve the problem and determine if the error comes from the cartridge or the electrical system internal printer.

    I hope this helps.

  • Print cartridge missing or not detected C4585

    Hello

I have a photosmart C4585 printer all in one, for a long time, I used hp cartridges-it worked fine until recently when the "print cartridge missing or not detected" message appeared.  I Googled it and found a video on YouTube showing how to remedy this with a particular sequence, which only worked to a print.  Then the error message returned.  I replaced the "truant" cartridges with HP authentic and still always get the same error message.  I am at a loss to know what to do, really can't afford a new printer, my daughters will be lost without a printer for homework!  Please can someone offer me advice?

Thank you very much in advance.

Vinia, I understand that you use genuine HP NO ink cartridges. Usually, this creates a problem at the beginning. Even if you were able to print before, using the correct cartridges is the best way.

Here is a link that might help with this problem.

  • Print cartridge missing or not detected

I have a HP Photosmart C4280 running on Windows XP.  Whenever I try to print, I get the message "Missing cartridge printing or undetected"... it seems to be the cartridge three colors, the origin of the problem.  I have taken the cartridges out and then put them, I turned off the printer and then turned back on... the only thing that seems to work is to go into my HP Solution Center, select my printer, select settings, select printer Toolbox, select Services of devices and finally click on print a Diagnostic Page.  Will then and only then the printer print my document - then it prints a page of diagnosis.  I do whenever I want to print something... any suggestions?  I'm wasting ink and paper...

  • Incompatible print cartridge error message

Below you can find a video on setting a cartridge print Incompatible error message in an Officejet J4680 printer. The steps it will show you how to do the following procedures.

    1. Remove and inspect the cartridges

    2. how to clean cartridges and what materials to use for this process.

    3. replace the cartridge

    4. printing in the mode back.

The stages of care cartridge will work on all printers that have the HPI cartridges.  IPH cartridges are those who come in all black and tri-color and have no individual cyan, magenta, and yellow colors. This is also true when the video talking about printing in backup mode as some printers with cartridges IPH are able to print in rescue mode when a cartridge is missing from the printer.

I hope the community finds this video to be useful.
