Error Msg 0x8DE20003 on Windows Live mail

In trying to join the Windows Live Mail account, I get the Ox8DE2003 error message... What is the problem and how to fix it?

I am posting this because I found a solution to this problem, and many people probably still find this page when you search for the error code that appears always upward (I did it).

I have found that if you can connect with your Microsoft Account on the web, but can't get your mail using HTTP in a desktop program (Windows Live Mail, specifically), it's because he's somehow you missed which accepts the terms of Microsoft and service agreement. This question for me, because I use Live Custom Domains service, and when I create a Microsoft Account on my own domain name, and then use it to connect, Miss me somehow this agreement.

Here is how I could probably fix this error:
(1) connect with the account in question to http://www.outlook.com.
2) click on your name in the upper right corner, then click on "account settings."
(3) at the top of the 'Account summary' page, under your name, click "edit name".
(4) If you have not yet reached an agreement with terms: on the page name of the Edit under the name fields, but above the Save/Cancel buttons, you'll see something to the effect of "Click 'Save' means that you agree to our terms of use."

If you have already accepted the terms, this verbiage does NOT appear, and I'm afraid that I don't know what your problem is. :(

Why the confirmation of the agreement is buried in the page change name is anybody's guess!
I hope this helps.

Can't send or receive messages for the account "e-mail address." Your server suddenly put an end to the connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

    Server: 'pop.att.yahoo.com '.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0F
    Protocol: POP3
    Port: 995
    Secure (SSL): Yes

The fact that the behavior is transitional in nature and have no problem access to your * address email is removed from the privacy * accounts very strongly suggests the problem side of Yahoo (i.e., incoming & outgoing servers).

If you were not able to access your Yahoo account or the * address email is removed from the privacy * accounts, I would have suggested tweaking your maximum transmission network (MTU) setting - wireless, but it's clearly NOT the case here. [1]

Tip: Wireless connections depend as well on the strength & consistency of the signal from the router so you are to the router, the better. If your home has walls of stone or brick, the wireless signal will not lead very far (for example, an office on the first floor of a room on the third floor).

    ==========================================
[1] the MTU parameter controls the maximum size of a TCP/IP packet that sends your computer. If the Internet service provider has a limit to what can be received, your packages can become fragmented, thus causing problems.

  • I use Windows Live mail for months and suddenly can not receive or by e-mail. I'm getting Error 0x800CCC0E, socket 10013 error ID.

Windows Live Error 0x800CCC0E, socket 10013 error

I use Windows Live mail for months and suddenly can not receive or by e-mail.  I'm getting Error 0x800CCC0E, socket 10013 error ID.  I don't think that all the parameters have been changed recently.  What motivates this error?

This computer is home and cable? If so, this is the e-mail scan probably the cause. According to your AV program, you may need to reinstall.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:
    http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

Why you don't need your anti-virus to scan your email
    http://thundercloud.NET/infoave/tutorials/email-scanning/index.htm

Note that for many AV programs, it may be necessary to uninstall the program and reinstall in custom Mode and uncheck e-mail scanning when the option is available.

Also note that WLMail has its own forum.

  • While trying to close Windows Live Mail, I get the error message "there are messages in your Outbox - would you send? When I click on Yes, then I get the 0x8CCC0003 error message.

Original title: Windows Live Mail error

I use Windows Live Mail and have never experienced a problem. Tonight I was e.mailing good people - just normal text.

Then, because I forgot to add images, I tried to send an e-mail to the same person and added about nine pictures not as an attachment, but the actual part where I'm typing the message. I've NEVER had this problem before, but now I still see the message in my Outbox but I am unable to send it.  When I click on my e.mail and close all the windows that are ready to shut down the PC, I get the message windows "there are messages in your Outbox - would you send? When I click on Yes, then I get the 0x8CCC0003 error message.  No idea WHY this could be happening all of a sudden unannounced.. ??

Any help would be appreciated to greately thank you!

It is likely that the message in the Outbox is damaged.  Too bad.  You will need to remove it.

Next time when you send email and want to ATTACH photos, do not use the WLM feature for the photos, but the paper clip icon to ATTACH photos.  This email will be visible to the receiving end with attachments that can easily be saved.

Also, check with your email provider to see if there are limits on the size of an email.  You can be greater than a limit.
