Error Msg When trying to play video
Hello, here I am trying to view a video online and every time that I try to open it I get this error msg... Cannot open this helper for mms://stream.assembly.ab.ca/archive/2013-05-09-1. I have win 7 with media player 12, AVG security. At work I can play/open it without any problems... work pc has XP. Is there something wrong with my drive? Tried to update, but it says no new updates available.
Any help you can give is appreciated.
Hey,.
Try setting Windows Media Player as the default player for playback of streaming online videos.
a. Click Start and then type inetcpl.cpl in the search option starting then press ENTER to open the Internet Options window.
b. click on programs, then on setting programs.
c. click on change the AutoPlay settings in the window that opens. You will be presented with a list of programs to select when you open media in Internet Explorer. To change your Media Player for videos, for example, click the select bar to the right of the video files and you will be able to select which player you want to play all the videos that you open in Internet Explorer. You can do the same thing for audio files, images, etc.
d. click on save when you are finished. Close Internet Explorer and start it again. Your new media player settings should now be implemented.
Note: You can choose any other program media player that is installed to make sure that the changes are applied.

Error when trying to play video youtube
Since 3 days when I try to play any video in youtube, it says: "an error has occurred. Please set win later. Learn more» (WinXP SP3, Firefox 30.0, Flash 14) I tried all the options shown in the Lear more link. But of no use. Videos work in IE and Chrome. I tried firefox installed Linux OS installed in the same machine. Same problem on Linux too. Help, please.
Recently it has stopped working in Chrome and IE also. I found that the reason is due to DNS servers. I disconnected my broadband and used a 3G dongle and found that everything works. Then I contacted my broadband provider. In my context, DNS was automatic. I changed it to the number assigned by them. Now the problem is solved.

Error Msg When you insert the disc to the software for a printer
I get the same error msg when trying to install a lexmar x 2670. «E: / is not a valid Win 32 application.» Last week, I tried to install a new HP printer and kept getting "%1 is not a valid Win 32 application." How can I fix it?
Hi BarbWat,
Which version of windows vista you are running on the computer? What type of system (32-bit or 64-bit)?
This problem may be caused by one of the options below.
1. the package is corrupt, missing, or bad.
2. the software is not designed for your version of Windows.
I suggest you try the following steps:
Step 1: The Setup file may be damaged or missing, check that the CD is clean.
Step 2: If the program is designed for a 64-bit version of Windows and you are running in a 32-bit version of Windows, it will not work and generate this error.
You can manually download the Lexmark software, please click here
Make sure you download the correct version (32-bit or 64-bit) for your computer.
If the problem persists, you can check with Lexmark.
http://support.Lexmark.com/index?page=home&locale=en&UserLocale=en_US
To check if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit, see the link below:
You can follow the same steps to solve the problem of HP printer.
Thank you, and in what concerns:

Fast forward video its exception throw year error has occurred trying to play media.
My problem is that if I'm fast video transfer its exception throw year error has occurred trying to play media.
CODE
public MyScreen() { try { setTitle("MyTitle"); Invocation invocation = new Invocation("http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17458564/Nueva%20carpeta/Video/lovingyou.mp4;interface=wifi"); // Get the Registry object using the class name of the application Registry _registry=Registry.getRegistry(Application.getApplication().getClass().getName()); //Invoke the content handler. _registry.invoke(invocation); } catch (IOException e){ }}Any solution will be appreciated Thanks
Hi @tej,
I'm assuming that you actually see the core MediaPlayer card app transition when you perform this invocation. But if this is the case, you simply reference to a * looking to come * operation from the progress bar? (i.e. component UI slider). Because the only way you can actually get a * operation forward fast * is increasing reading speek, through the Cascades MediaPlayer API or mm-renderer C API; links to documentation for the MediaPlayer card above, there is no way to specify the quick delivery.
Now, assuming that your * search * operationg is a failure, it could even be on how Dropbox is expected or with HTTP calls. A few things to consider (the URL you pasted is not accessible to me, at least my network to work here):
(1) the same video file works with the search when you already downloaded on your phone (which is pointing to a local path instead)?
(2) the same Dropbox URL works perfectly well with the streaming/looking for a browser based player? (for example VLC client on the default player on Google Chrome or Firefox)
For example, here's a .mp4 from a video podcast site: http://dts.podtrac.com/redirect.mp4/twit.cachefly.net/video/tnt/tnt0920/tnt0920_h264b_640x368_256.mp...

How can I fix C00D199F error code when trying to burn a CD with Windows Media player.
Original title: How can I fix C00D199F error code
Error message when trying to burn a cd with Windows Media Player
Hello
1. what version of Windows Media Player do you use?
2. the specific issue of burning CD using WMP?
3. What is the exact full error message?
4. what you are trying to burn?
5. is the specific question on the disk?
Method 1: You can run the fixit available in the link below and
Your CD or DVD drive cannot read or write media
http://support.Microsoft.com/GP/cd_dvd_drive_problems/en-us?EntryPoint=lightbox
Method 2: Clean the disc
Clean the CD or the DVD. To do this, use a disc cleaning kit. Or gently wipe the silver side of the disc with a soft and Lint cotton cloth. Do not use cloth of paper which can scratch the plastic and leave streaks. When you clean the disc, wipe from the center of the disc outward. Do not use a circular motion. If the problem persists, clean the disc with a damp cloth or a commercial CD or DVD cleaning solution. Dry the disc thoroughly until you insert the disc in the drive.
Select a slower recording speed and check if that helps.
1. in the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the devices tab.
2. in devices, double-click the CD burner, and then click the recording tab.
3. in the write speed list, select a slower speed.Method 3:
Perform the clean boot and check:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353
Follow the above article.
If you have any third party installed a CD/DVD burning software, uninstall them temporarily for Add / Remove Programs. Subsequently, check if you are able to burn CDs in Windows Media Player.Reference: Burn your own custom CDs
Hope the above information is helpful.

Hello
1. are you able to install other applications successfully?According to my research, this error message appears if you have traces of a previous installation of the AVG software.Download the AVG remover to remove the previous version and then try the installation again and check.

Try this...1. click on START2. click on "all programs".3. click on "Accessories".4. click on "system tools."5. click on "system restore."6 follow the instructions on the screen to restore the system to a date before the problem startedAlthough the system restore does not target the personal data, I recommend always backup your personal data, just in case something happens. For reference, I have included a link that provides more specific information about the restoration of the system and how to use it:Let us know if it works,Thank you!Ryan Thieman
