Error number: 0x800A0046

I'm having a few difficulties to solve the error number: 0x800A0046. Suggested used data persistence is correct. I don't have Zone Alarm or any other device filtering uncontrolled, that could be the cause of the problem. When I try to open the Component Services/computer it close the window. I have a guest user and administrator (the Administrator Help). I have re-installed SP3 - thinking that he could fix the registry - it didn't. W. Defender is in the same stage, it cannot be updated. Here the error code 0x80070005. I tried all the suggestions recommends the site MS - not a single one worked.

Hi TaurArian,

Followed by a few minutes: the HD was the reason for my problem. I noticed the constant term, but I thought that he's trying to solve the problem or it's indexing. In any case, when I reformatted it, she not answered for a while and then halfway on the installation of the OS crashed. After several attempts to install the OS, I have concluded that it is a failure of the HD.

Once again; Thank you for your help, I just wanted you to know that.

A user who contacted Ms. received these instructions which seemed to work for him:

1 log on to the computer in SafeMode as administrator (you might be able to do it without being in safe mode).
2 rename the directory called C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution Directory Windows
3 Rename the CATROOT2 folder in windows > System32 directory
4 restart and try the Windows Update.

It's my opinion that the automatic update service should be stopped before the above, then restarted when finished.

To stop the automatic update service-

    Click Start, choose run.
In the run box, type services.msc.
    Click OK.
    Right-click the automatic updates service.
    Click on stop.
Stopping the service will take a moment.

You can then try the instructions above recommended by another user who received the support of Ms.

Don't forget to start the service automatic updates when you are finished
    Click Start. Choose run.
In the run box, type services.msc.
    Click OK.
    Right-click the automatic updates service.
    Click Start.
Starting the service will take a moment.

I want to update BIOS for my Toshiba Satellite A210 but I also need to know what version of my BIOS.
I never updated the BIOS since I have the laptop for 3 years, I think I need to update BIOS, because the laptop give me black screen while he was working on it and when I open it again it says it stops because of the error number 0 x 124.

So I contacted Microsoft and they give me the solution to check the update to the BIOS but I searched online for this I found that I have to take precautions by updating so please, I want all guide to tell me how to safely upgrade

    Sorry for my English...

Start the laptop, enter the parameters of the BIOS at F2 and on the first page, you can see what version of BIOS is preinstalled on your laptop.

If everything works well, you n t need BIOS updated.

I put t know what operating system you use and why this error message occurs, but perhaps you should install new OS or with original OS of Vista that you got with your laptop or Microsoft installation disc.

Cleaning after installation of the OS I m 100% sure that everything will be OK.

  • I can't restore my ipad2 using itunes. always got error number 9. so, what should I do?

iTunes. always got error number 9. so, what should I do?

The iPad in my experience is very picky about which cable it will restore with. Error 9 is almost always related to the cable, NOT on the dock connector/flex cable. Use the official Apple cable if you still have it, or borrow one from a friend.

If this does not work, it could also have something to do with the IPSW that you try to restore with. Try using a different IPSW or use to start the dfu mode and restore it. This could be because the 9 error may be related to kernel ramdisk rejecting the ASR because it is not signed correctly, so break the connection with the device and causing the error 9.
