But if it is not the battery, I have no interest to spend $500 on a service for a phone I paid more than $1000 for purely and simply. Very disappointed that this phone had restored my faith in apple products and I was just telling on the eve of what past how happy I was with the phone and now it unfortunately.

  If the phone will again fuel or if I can get it to connect to my MacBook, I'll try a full factory reset as a last resort.
