  Hello

  I own a BB torch and I have a big problem with the Facebook app. When I tried to login to FB I always get a message eror saying "we couldn't connect (2405).

  I see many others have reported this error on other forums but I've not seen any resolution. Can someone help me because I use my FB app a lot. I used to have BB9700 and I have upgraded the OS to OS6 BB, but has not had any problems with FB.

This is my first bb and im new on this, I don't know what is happening, I tried to download something for my bb 8330 for the Desktop Manager and it asks me the password and I entered the wrong password and now my screen went all white and it says JUM ERROR 513 and under him It says RESET. Only option I have is to click just the reset but then it just keeps going back to the same screen. Help, please! What is going, and what can I do to get my phone back to how it was?   Users can perform a full or selective data backup by using the tool of backup and restore in BlackBerry Desktop Manager using the following steps:

  4. Select backup to perform a full backup or select Advanced to make a backup of specific databases.

  To perform a clean installation of the BlackBerry Device Software, do the following:

  2. Double-click The Application Loader icon.

  4. Type your BlackBerry smartphone password, if prompted, and then click OK.

  6. Click Advancedand then click the check box next to delete all already installed applications.

  8. Click the check box next to do not automatically back up the application during the process of loading data.
  9. Clear the check box next to the backup and restore applications installed wireless.
  10. Click Next > Finish.
  11. Once the process is complete, the load succeeded message. Click close to return to BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Facebook app has no icon "favorite places".

  My wife has a BB Torch, and we do not find the "Favorite places" icon on the Ribbon or banner of the Facebook app.  I pressed the menu button and control options, but there is nothing in there.  I tried to check the updates from the front but it was leaving tick check automatically.  GPS location is enabled in system properties.  Any suggestions?

  Phone my just shutt off and when it is restarted I got an error message 102. I was taking a video of fun and it just to stop. I was on the website and it says I have to re - load the software but I have not backed up the phone. The process of re - install mentions back up my data Paul of reloading, but I can't access the data, the error message.

  Does anyone know how to access the data with the OS installed?

  It is not a means to access personal data that is on the phone. The error code

  indicates that the operating system of the phone is unusable. Your data are organized and saved by the same damaged software.

  If you have an old backup, you can restore data after reinstall the OS device.

  Remove all instances of Facebook on the device, then do a hard reset. Start App World and empty the cache, then try to install Facebook go to App World.

  Hi all

  Have recently upgraded via the updater for Facebook v1.8.0.49 appworld

  In the previous version when a notification came through Facebook it would make appear an icon on the home screen of facebook and NOT send an email to the email address on blackberry.

  For example, I have an email address BIS set up on my camera (mobileemail.vodafone.net) and also have the blackberry facebook app messaging service enable (checked) in the facebook app and also the "blackberry Smartphone notifcation" checked in the facebook of PC through iexplorer.

  Before only facebook notifications came as the app or facebook knew it was the same address, since the upgrade I now get both an email to my BIS email account and a notification icon appears.

  I change anything in the options.

  (now tried logging in and out, reticking options, etc, nothing)

  Y at - it a new option, or is this a bug of upgrade. The application of face book has only delete the email and now sends to the device?

  Since typing this my wife with the 8520 just told me that she has the same problem.

  Does anyone else have this?

  This isn't a major problem as long as at least I'm getting a nowt rather than email and notification.

  OK, so I've got a blackberry 9300 and I had downloaded app facebook, I tried to update and my phone said that I had to remove the app that I have to update, so I did, but I think it has completely removed fom my camera! It is not on my phone, is not the app world, I tried to go on facebook via the internet on my phone and the bottom of the page, it says "Download the facebook app for blackberry" or something along those lines and that does'nt the same job!   Remove your Facebook app in Options > Advanced Options > Applications.

  Reinstall it from www.blackberry.com/facebook and when running through the Facebook set up the wizard, see if you are now able to connect to your calendar.

  Following my question the downgrade failed, I lost the Facebook app. The problem I have is that I can't download it from App World because the email address I used for PayPal is different from the one I use for my push BB.

  Just to be clear, you are opening your browser and typing "www.blackberry.com/facebook" in there?  I do that and I get redirected to a page on the blackberry.com website has nothing on this subject but a download link for facebook.  No AppWorld, nothing else.

  This may seem like an insulting question, but we have seen problems not resolved due to small misunderstandings like this.  Please confirm that you type exactly this address in your browser.

  I recently got a new BB Bold 9700 brnd on a package that allows you to get on the internet, etc etc. The guy I bought the phone out of Said (AT & T Store) data plan would be perfect for Social Networking Etc. well, anyway here is some information on my phone:

  OS: Last Version, just updated as of November 9, 2010

  Also, everything is up-to-date.

  I tried to restart and everything. The error message I get is, 'we cannot reach the server of facebook at the moment. Please try again later. (100) I also saw where others on google said they encounter the same problem. As for Twitter, it says I have to update my data plan when it's the higher package and for myspace, it says I have an invalid password when it is 100% correct.

  If someone could please help me with this problem I would be SO happy! I'm addicted to Facebook. Laughing out loud.

  As for your specific needs, I suggest to make a good list of exactly the services you want and then talk again with a representative from ATT to know exactly which of their data plans is required to enable the services you want. If I had to guess, I would say that the rep that you spoke was misinformed and put you a map of too low for what you want.

Facebook is unfortunately not working error message as follows "you are currently on a service plan that does not support this application. "If you want to use this application please contact your service provider to upgrade the plan." I tried to contact my service provider and they also know why.
