I understand where the error comes from. The view was exported and imported using the automated scripts.

One of the scripts used a linesize 1000.

Which resulted in the following create statement.

CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW OF STRENGTH... "COL1", "COL2", "COL3"... 'BER_AVA_A '.

RT", 'COL20', 'COL21 '.

...

The line was discontinued after 1000 characters, who was the last to leave column "BER_AVA_ART."

However, the view is present in the data dictionary. I want to get rid of.

The same error occurs for any activity involving this view, such as create or replace, select.

BTW: I strongly advice not to try to re-create this error!

My impression is that I had a corruption of cache library because of this point of view. Which in turn prevents the drop the object.

Is there another way (in charge) to get rid of an object?

Chances are that we have reached

Bug 13786142  Impossible to drop/replace trigger in editioning environment

Looks like we need an update (which is behind this system).

I close the question.

    Hello

Which version of the database, you are on?
And you have access to the Oracle Metalink/My Support?

    Found this, by the way:

ORA-12096: error in materialized view log

If problems occur when you try to access a log of a materialized view, the system issues an error ORA-12096 which is followed by the actual error. If the error ORA-12096 is accompanied by a message ORA-00942, the problem may be due to a reorganization in line which was only partially cancelled. In this case, you can remove the log file for manually materialized view (after checking that it is no longer necessary):

  • Iastor0 error in Event Viewer (computer freezes)

Hello! I'm looking for advice on how to troubleshoot or correct an error in the event viewer.

Error in Event Viewer shows Event ID 9 "the device, \device\ide\iaStor0, did not in time-out."

I have Windows XP SP3 on a Dell Optiplex 755 image fitness and everything seemed fine at first, but the user has noticed that they could not restart the PC at the end of the day as a message of 'ending now network activity' kept popping up, the only way they could stop the pc has been by the power button. After turning the pc back all was fine and that they could connect on the network end and the computer worked fine, but after I left the computer on all night and it controls the next morning that there was just a background image, no icons, I could move the cursor but that's all the keys ctrl + alt + delete not failed by the same , so I had to shut down the pc by the power button. I came to conclude that until the computer crashes completely there is a problem with pulling to the top of a Web page, you can click on IE but nothing comes, and I also can't get in manage by right click on my computer. What's weird, is that the other application seem to run ok until the entire system crashes.

So, I looked in the event viewer and noticed when gel starts there is an error event ID9 as I said above. Have never seen this before, I'm sure it is the cause of the problem. I've been setting up workstations with Windows XP and have never had this problem now all of a sudden, I'm having the problem with a handful of PC Dell Optiplex 755. I made sure the drivers are installed and up-to-date. Does anyone know if running the command sfc \scannow benefit to fix this problem? Antivirus works very well and I scanned the pc to make sure that there is not a virus.

I searched the internet and have not really found a solution to this. All the tips I will be grateful.

  • Delete the files for registration error in Event Viewer

Hi, can I just permanently delete error recording files? they came out after that I looked at Event Viewer?  Thank you

That's what I have records of error application form Viewer event, security audit records, system error reecords custom log error records

    Hello

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community Forums.

Microsoft Windows operating systems include an observer of events that records instances of computer about security changes, of hardware and software. Even if this maintenance assistance program handles the details constantly, you must erase it occasionally because once the capacity of the event log is full, the event viewer to stop recording. After that you have reviewed the incidents, you can save or delete. The steps below will teach you how to clear the observer of events quickly, make room for fresher newspapers of the day.

    (a) select ' Control Panel ' in the start menu.

    (b) then select "performance and Maintenance"

    (c) select "Administrative Tools"

    (d) open "Event Viewer."
    (e) highlight the journal the list Microsoft Management Console .

    (f) in the toolbar menu, select 'Action' and "clear all events" .

    (g) select 'Yes' to save the event log.

Please post back with the result. If the problem is still not resolved, we will be happy to help you further.

  • NTFS bad block errors in Event Viewer

I have a Dell 510 m with XP and a Toshiba HD. There are a few bad blocks that I see with the Diagnostic CD. They have not worsened in recent years. Recently, I saw a few 'Bad Block' errors in the event viewer. Diianostic CD shows me a bad block as before.

My question is: when the Bad Block error, is to say that the ranking system, NTFS marked which also block bad, so he's not getting used again?  Otherwise, CHKDSK (the /R option?) will find the new bad block and mark it unusable?  If not, is there a way to do this?

There is no option to replace the HD. I just need to keep this laptop going long enough to decide what to buy to replace.

    Thank you

24 KB in bad sectors. = 6 clusters currently is not a serious problem. However, you must check regularly for some time to ensure that the number does not increase.

Of course, any bad cluster can be bad news if it coincides with the location of a vital system file.

You must also use chkdsk for repairs under this part of the report:
Correcting errors in the Volume Bitmap.
Windows found problems with the file system.
Run CHKDSK with the /F (fix) option to correct these.

Edit, Find with Volume Bitmap use search for more information:

  • Microsoft.VC80.CRT error in Event Viewer

When checking through the event viewer, I noticed a few errors. This one for the VC80. CRT is shown repeatedly. I'm not sure what may be the cause when it was recorded. I wonder if some missing critical updates can be a cause of those who have been downloaded and installed. They are 2656368, 2656369, 2656370. In fact I think that errors can be the result of a webcam software that has been installed and did not work properly. There are a bunch of sidebyside errors and all other Referances one webcam program.

Did you ever have a password?

As a user or administrative password?

    You know the password?

You should be able to right click the program and select Properties, then select the Security tab, under permissions choose Add, the next box choose Advanced, choose Find now to locate the service you want to add and ok your way out, apply at the end, and then click ok.

If above does not work to clear the error, you will need to uninstall the software and reinstall.

  • IDEPort0 ATAPI errors in Event Viewer.

    Original title: hard drive problem

I started to receive some "IDEPort0 atapi errors" in my event viewer and I checked the IDE cable for the hard drive and I unplugged and tried the slave on the cable connector and ever since then I kept getting 'the hard disc has a bad block' errors as almost non-stop and there before, but only a few times, so I think that the hard drive is toast. I tried another hard drive from another computer that I know works for sure and it gives me the BSOD, then the computer restarts and so on. I tried 3 different IDE cables and is the same thing so at this point the only thing I can think is the IDE controller on the motherboard has gone wrong or he would have nothing to do with a hard EIDE and the other just IDE? What else could be causing the BSOD? Thanks in advance!

The hard drive has been giving me a blue screen and when I put it in the other computer, it works very well so I thought to keep it in the computer he was blue screening and re-installed windows with it in this computer and it worked, so I guess that windows had to be re-installed with the hard drive of this computer. I guess it has to do with the different and everything is driver files configured differently on that hard drive and put it in another computer caused the blue screen, but fortunately it wasn't the controller. Everything works fine now. Thanks for the reply!

    Hello ben480,

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft answers Forum.

We are in need of more information as the event id in your event viewer for troubleshooting.
What version of Vista are you using? SP1? Are you connected to a domain or is a standalone computer?
What type of problem you see when you get this error?
What is the status of the virtual disk on your Windows Vista System Service? By default, the startup type is set to manual and the service is stopped.

There are two services that virtual disk Service depends on. The CPP and the Plug-and-Play.
You have problems with the Plug and Play devices? Or you are having problems with removable disks?

Response please back and we know the status of your issue and we will be happy to troubleshooting.

    Sincerely, Marilyn

  • Call from Windows Service Center on errors in Event Viewer

I received a call from a person named Jeff Ipkiss saying he was from the Windows Service. He said that he called because I was a loyal customer of windows and he wanted to fix my pc of some errors as it gets when I download files. I asked how he knew, he said his company gets alerts when clients receive error messages. He asked me to go in the Viewer (eventvwr.exe) events I watched administrative events and Windows logs and saw many warnings and errors. He also had me go into the filter to search by errors, and I could see several errors. After he checked, I had several errors, he tried to connect to my PC to correct the errors. (He assured me that it would be a tax)! I asked why he did and again he said "because you are such a loyal customer of windows. He also said that if there was any critical errors, there may be a small fee.
