  You are running Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG, Norton or McAfee? If you run one of those, she didn't have Defender. It's good, not bad. I tried to start Firefox in "safe mode" and as soon as my default screen opens (Yahoo.com) and when I click on anything, whether it's freezing immediately again.

  I'm not able to get Firefox open enough before it freezes to be able to go to 'preferences' to try to change or remove cookies or anything else.

  Also, I had hundreds of bookmarks, when I get Firefox and running, is there a way to recover these bookmarks?

  Currently, I am forced to use Safari which is horrible. Help, please!

  new user of Firefox with your own user account profile. Firefox may have
  many profiles under the same user account.

  I had no problems so far. I guess it's a touchpad problem but I tried everything I know and I can't fix it.

  When I pass something, it is like I left clicked it. This is happening everywhere, including desktop, Windows Explorer, and programs.

  Is the touchpad mouse or you use another mouse? Most of the touch keys have Hover and
  other settings in the control panel - mouse.

  What has changed just before this started happening? Add anything? New startup program
  or update antivirus and security or other?

  Some systems have shortcut keys that control the way which responds the touchpad, check with the manufacturer of the system.

  Try reinstalling the drivers for the touchpad.

  Try to use a clean boot to see if that stops the problem.

  I installed Windows 7 on my laptop (upgrade). I deleted the first partition (100 MB) but could not remove the part containing the windows (C drive). I continued the installation

  Result: A new copy of windows has been installed, but the old windows files have been saved (windows.old). I deleted this file.

  My problem is that my drive hard (D :) is not opening. When I click on it it says D:\ is not accessible. Access is denied.

  Hey I found the solution. I went to my computer, the drive hard D properties, security and added my user name... so it's it.my files r rear access is not denied more :)
