error osdm 'could not create the Java virtual machine.

Running Windows XP. Reports of SQL Developer Java (TM) Platform = 1.5.0_06

I downloaded and unpacked the liberation of the adopter early osdm, but when I double click on the osdm.exe, I get a dialog box titled "Java Virtual Machine Launcher" with the error:
could not create the Java virtual machine.

I don't know where to start to fix this problem.
Is there a newspaper, the trace file somewhere?
Need something specific in my path or environment variable set?

Problem has been solved by reducing the maximum segment size Java (this parameter:-Xmx).
Xmx512M-Xms128M (Xms64M-Xmx512M-or)

    People,

    This issue has been resolved,

    Details of the problem:

RAM 512 MB only, use JVM parameters

"" Arguments of memory in JAVA: -Xms512m-Xmx512m ".

If WL struck to use more memory for the start and the stop MedRecSvr2, 3 (managed server)

Please read the following steps to correct,

    1. open Oracle VM Virtual box

    2. go to settings and select the system option (make sure that all OS turns off).

    3. go in card mother in this window select Base memory previously is changed to 1920 MB (1.875 GB) 512 MB.

    4. click on Ok.

Then the allocated RAM will be more, for Weblogic doesn't get knocked because of insufficient RAM memory.

  • Error message - "Could not create the security default policy"

I just reinstalled Acrobat X on a new computer (upgrade to Acrobat 8).  Now, when I open a file in Acrobat X, I get a message error that says "could not create the default security policy."   How can I fix? Pourrait

    Hi dawlaw,

There is a bug in Adobe software. Acrobat X pro and standard both install properly if any other Adobe product was already installed, but both disrupts the installation (do not create the AppData\Security subdirectories) if another product from Adobe that has not created AppData\Security directories has been installed first. Adobe has only been tested installation on machines that never had other Adobe products installed. They do not consider that other Adobe products can already installed.

(Alternative 1 (safer) - (a) uninstall all Adobe control panel products, b) then delete (or rename) the directories \AppData\Local\Adobe and \AppData\LocalLow\Adobe \AppData\Roaming\Adobe - Adobe never cleans these directories after uninstall. (c) make an own Acrobat x pro or standard installation before you reinstall any other Adobe product.

Solution 2 - copy \AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat\10.0\Security and \AppData\LocalLow\Adobe\Acrobat\10.0\Security from another machine that works.

    Kind regards

  • Could not start the new virtual machine or VM remove a data store

    Hi guys,.

I'm not new with ESXi, but my knowledge with vCenter and Clustering must be improved, so here's my problem.

We have a Cluster of 2 ESXi 4.1 hosts on a San with 2 VMFS.

My first problem is when I created a new virtual machine and try to start it, I got an error message similar to the one included with this post.

My Second problem is more picky. Since I am unable to start my new virtual machine, I had removed from drive and I had created a new. But when I took a peek in the data store where was deleted VM, the directory with all the files are still there. When I try to delete it, I got an error message telling me that it is impossible to proceed.

    Q please?

    Best regards

    Stéphane

82% of failure can be other issues.  The article below

    http://KB.VMware.com/kb/1006052

Also, I saw, where bad records DB for your ESXi hosts can cause weird problems as well.  The host with the problematic guest, can you do a right click on it and "disconnect"?  Try to get out of the bunch at the data center level.  If you get an error vCenter, that means return folder DB.  From there, while the host is in a disconnected state, remove the host to vCenter, then "add host". This will update the DB record.  Maybe worth it?

  • CF 9.0.1 Solr does not have the Java virtual machine path

As part of the security of some of our machines for use of DoD, need to maintain the versions of Java.  To do this, we install the latest JDK and use the server settings > Java and JVM > Machine way Java virtual to then tell CF to use it.  We have done this since CF4 without any problems and when we moved to CF6 + we continued the process, but also after having what we then delete the folder of jre in runtime folder leave the CF is. Well I have just the program installation and installed my first CF9 + Win 2008 R2 server and after doing this the Solr service does not start.  This had me so dig in its folder structure and it has its own folder of the jre in its folder structure as well.  But using Sysinternals Process Monitor, I can see the service Solr uses NOT the folder of the jre from the inside it of own structure but is actually going up and 'try' to use the runtime\jre folder that I have deleted so it causes the service to fail.  I can actually delete the solr\jre folder as long as the runtime\jre folder exist.

There are so many problems with this.

    • SOLR has yet another installation of Java within itself
    • SOLR does not use its own Java, even if there is a copy it
    • SOLR does not respect the setting Java VM path together

Adobe has responded to my bug with the location of the solr configuration variable to point to the external JAVA virtual machine.

    ColdFusion9\solr\solr.lax

    Lax.nl.currentvm = JVM_PATH

It seems to work properly until now.

  • can not find the java virtual machine

I got an error message when you try to compile. At one point, he worked, but maybe I messed up one of the environment variables.

    C:\Documents and Settings\jm > mxmlc
Error: could not find a JVM.

To answer my own question and save people future pain. Under Windows, when Java is unable to find the virtual machine, you must do

Start > Control Panel > system > advanced > Environment Variables

and implement the variable user "java_home" to the JDK with oblique lines as follows:

    C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.6.0_06

You don't put ' / bin '. If you put Java into a different folder, you must change the java_home accordingly. Now I can move on with life.

Follow the steps below at our own risk.  Set a restore point before doing this. Make a mistake in the registry can have bad results

In your registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\User Shell Folders\Cache Database Cache data value must be %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

Close all programs. Then in the registry editor, once you get in the folder above, right click on "Cache", make a left-click on "Change", paste in "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files" (without the quotes), on the left, click 'Ok' close the editor of the register. Restart the PC.

    This should solve your problem.

    a. start-> Run-> enter "regedit" and press "Enter" to run the program to change registry variables.

    b. navigate to the folder-> "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\User Shell Folders\Cache"

    c. check the values of variables [for everything in the "User Shell Folders" folder] - all the variable should have values from '% USERPROFILE%\ '. ». Any variable that is not of this starting point is probably damaged. In my case, all variables corrupt has been a correspondent of "Backup_VariableName". Example: my variable "cache" was damaged when there is a variable called 'backup_cache' with the correct values

    d. change the value of variables corrupt to correct the values. Example of change variable value "cache" in "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files" and so on.

    e. close all of Ms Office programs, and turn. The problem should be solved now.

You can try to remove the device uri scheme and the findme bosses and then try to make the migration again. If its success, you can re - fill these easy once tmspe is running.

    Hello

This message appears usually when the JVM cannot allocate sufficient memory. It may be the consequence of the stage Builder set - Xmx1024m command line: this is currently followed by default TLD-4515 and will be fixed in the next few weeks.
For the time being you can give a try on a system with more memory. Moreover, what is your current hardware configuration?

It seems that the error is caused because the OSB cannot create the file in/tmp/alsbTempJars temporary jar. I looked for path and the directory alsbTempJars is not present on the disk. I had already created this directory in the past, so I can't understand why it was deleted.

Also I saw some off error disk space in newspapers, although I checked that it is at least 1 GB free at the point of installation of OSB.

We found this problem when checking the logs after that we had a mistake with OSB web console.

To resolve this error, I had to create the alsbTempJars directory, and then restart the node. Error stopped and treatment then continues normally. I think the activity node was interrupted during the error, because I only see traces of battery in the log file.

OSB is running in a Linux machine with the Oracle user who is also owner of the alsbTempJars directory.

Hope someone could help us with this.

    Kind regards

    Daniel.

OSB will not remove this directory. It must be an external process that is remove this directory or by turning off all the directory temp itself. Collate admin system/OS if he can understand it.

    Kind regards

  • LV 2016: LabVIEW could not create the required channel file permission error endpoint; NOR-488: Error of hardware detected DMA

I just installed the new 2016 LabVIEW with the two patches and wanted to check the new feature.

When you create a channel writer, there was a pop up select the Channel end point, but whatever the option chosen, there is a window saying "LabVIEW could not create the required channel endpoint", error ccode: 8 file authorization error

    NOR-488: Error detected DMA hardware.

I have error permition from file to file, file that is?

By chance, do you have re-defined the default data directory in LabVIEW?  LabVIEW uses to host files for the warp threads, and if you moved from its default position in your profile (C:\Users\\Documents\LabVIEW data), especially if you moved it to the root of C:, it could become unalterable.  This must remain in your profile!

  • Cannot read Psychonauts off Steam error - the game could not create the Direct3d device. Please make sure your video drivers are installed properly

Original title: Running Win7 on Bootcamp. Error: The game could not create the Direct3d device. Please make sure your video drivers are installed properly.

I try to play Psychonauts out of steam. I am currently running Windows 7 via Bootcamp on my MacBook Pro 13-inch mid-2010. When I try to run the game, I get the message:

The game could not create the Direct3d device. Please make sure your video drivers are installed properly.

I tried to update DirectX, and I tried to download the Nvidia drivers associated with my laptop model. How can I solve this problem?

    Thanks again for the help.

I'm not familiar with Apple but I found this:

    http://support.Apple.com/downloads/#NVIDIA

Except that it is what I have from NVIDIA:

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook_drivers.html

Previously, only the original beta for mobile graphics drivers were available on the NVIDIA site with manufacturers having full control and ownership of the final version.
