Error reading from cache

Hello:
I had trouble with DW. A couple of days ago my computer crashed as DW approached, apparently damaged some files or something like that and now when I try to open DW it gives me an error message and then crashes, this occurs when reading the cache information. I can't open to change the settings or something like that, simply because it does not start.

AppName: dreamweaver.exe AppVer: 7.0.2052.0 ModName: dreamweaver.exe
ModVer: 7.0.2052.0 Offset: 0056d84d

Is it possible to avoid this error? as a replacement of a file or change of somenthing change or remove site settings?

You can try this simple fix-

Stop DW.

Find this file-

C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
MX2004\Configuration\WinFileCache-*.dat

(these files are normally hidden - you may have to use Explorer > tools >)
To view the Folder Options)

and delete it.

Restart DW. Works better?

  • Error reading from file: state .tgz-3.

    I'm under ESXi v3, but I couldn't find anything except 4 or 5 on the forums. in any case, I am very new to VMWare and this configuration inherited from my predecessor. Today, we had to stop everything for some work on our electrical systems. I stop the VM machine and then put the host in maintenance mode. After that, we did a clean power down. From switching back on, I get the following error:

    Error reading from file: state .tgz-3.

    Help, please. It comes to our business files server which is completely offline now.

    You see your data warehouse? If so, consult and find the folder of the virtual machine and then make a right click the .vmx for comments and add to the inventory.

    As it is a recent construction, I did have the chance to perform a backup, a restore is not possible.  Run a repair had no effect.  Is there anything else I can do to get it back?

  • Error reading from a text file?

    Hello

    I am trying to add a NI SOFTMOTION TABLE in my project using a text file that contains the data points I want to use to make a contour move, and Labview opens but returns an error message me "ERROR READING FILE". In fact, I see all my points in the table in Labview, but it creates one more line to each column where a "unreadable" message just wrote.

    No idea how solve it?

    Thanks in advance!

    Just shooting in the dark:

  • Error reading from disk after the installation of windows xp

    Ideas:

    • I got a new hard drive installed by professionals. I went to install Windows XP on my computer. He passed through the first stage, but after copying the files, it wouldn't restart. That repeatedly brings me to a screen that says: a disk read error occurred press Ctrl alt delete to restart and then it looks like it will restart but hten goees return the same screen. How can it be a disk error if it is passed by the installer and I've never touched the disc later? Now, I can't do anything with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Do not install an operating system is usually caused by (in order of probability):

    1. you are trying to install with other devices connected to the computer. Unplug them before trying to make an installation.

    2. "" "" defective installation media. "" Check the CD/DVD installation for scratches, tasks. Try another machine.

    3. bad optical drive. Test with another CD/DVD bootable or Exchange for a well-known work.

    4. faulty RAM. Test with Memtest86 + www.memtest.org . You will download the .iso image file to create a bootable cd. Burn the file with the third party burning software *-as an image, not in the form of data. Then start with the media that you did (you may need to change the boot priority in your BIOS so that the optical drive is the first boot device). The test runs immediately. The test run for an hour or two--at least that errors are seen immediately. If you get any errors, replace the RAM.

    A good free choice ImgBurn comes from www.imgburn.com .

    5. bad hard drive. Test with a diagnostic utility downloaded from site of the disc mftr... You create a bootable CD with the files you download. Burn the file with a third-party burning software - image, not in the form of data. Boot with the CD that you have done and do a full test of the reader. The physical tests fail, replace it.

    (Note: since you just replaced your hard drive is probably not the cause.) However, you should always test because it is not uncommon that new hard drives to the failure of the box.)

  • Problem to read from cache?

    I get this error message

    Lightroom has encountered an error when reading the preview cache and need to stop smoking

    Has anyone else got this error and how to fix this?

    I have already tried it and uninstall / reinstall.

    Fix you by removing the preview cache as Lightroom can no longer read. After you dleete, Lightroom will create a new and will start to recreate your previews. The preview cache sits alongside your catalog, and that is the files/folders that ends with "Previews.lrdata". Do not delete the catalog (which ends with ".lrcat").

  • Error reading from a file on the server

    Mine is 9i and 11.5.10.2 database oracle application server

    I'm reading the PDF file of the server, I used the code below

    l_bfile:=BFILENAME('\u05\app\applmgr\11i\oraclecomn\admin\out\jamuna_server','o7742576.out');
    If DBMS_LOB. FILEEXISTS (l_bfile) = 1 then
    dbms_output.put_line ('Exists!");
    dbms_output.put_line (DBMS_LOB. GetLength (l_bfile));
    on the other
    dbms_output.put_line ('Not Exists!");
    end if;

    I used slashes (/) instead of forward slashes (\) too and I also made the dbms_output.put_line (to_char (dbms_lob.getlength (l_bfile)));

    When you use the dbms_log package, I got the below error. I'm a little worried because I created the directory and donna sufficicent privileges too.

    Error report:
    ORA-00604: an error has occurred at the SQL level 1 recursive

    I do not know bfilename('\u05\app\applmgr\11i\oraclecomn\admin\out\jamuna_server','o7742576.out') is give BFILE that is empty.

    Can you please suggest me what I can do to go further? What kind of privileges it requires point and read the file from the server?

    Please help me in this.

    I suspect that you do not use a directory object is the problem.

  • "I understand the risks" missing option - page is read from cache

    trying to access the Web site, I am facing a security warning because the certificate is self-signed.
    This is an internal site, which is currently the subject of tests - so it's ok to add an exception.
    the question is, the option to select "I understand the risks" is totally absent, the only available action is "get me out of here"

    Since it is an internal site under our control, I did a few tests more:
    It seems that firefox redirects the initial http request to https
    This does not happen on other browsers (chrome and IE), also tested in a clean install of firefox running without the extensions.

    even after completely cleaning the cache and temporary files, question remains.
    This site (over http) does not load on firefox, always redirected to https

    even after deleting the server mod_ssl apache and by eliminating completely any mention of the ssl on that server, connection with firefox always redirects http to https (now results in the error "Unable to connect to Server" - but still not to load the basic site http version)

  • Error reading from disk on startup, but no problem when I remove my external hard drive from Seagate. Solution?

    At startup, windows does not load and, I don't see a black screen says Disk Read Error press Ctrl Alt Del to restart. Upon restart, the same problem occurs. I managed to work around this problem by unplugging all my external hard drives USB, but this problem has never happened before.

    Recently, I laid out my laptop due to a faulty internal hard drive. Windows has been reformatted and a new internal hard drive has been installed. Since then, the above mentioned error occurred and I'm not too sure if those problems are linked, but my Seagate hard drive works fine until I fix it after windows has marketing. Yet once, it never happened before that my laptop has been repaired.

    Appreciate your help.

    Thank you

    Hello

    to power on you will see a way to get into the program installation/bios or boot menu command at the bottom of the screen

    It would be F2 or delete etc to get into the setup of the bios or F12 forBoot order

    go into the Bios and see if the USB boot is enabled a see also if it 1st in the boot order

    If this is to change the boot order or disable USB boot depending on your Bios options

    Lightroom 5.7.1 does not open.  There is a message that there is an "error reading from the preview cache".  How can I fix this error?  I can not find the folder cache of Lightroom preview either in the "Programs folder or the programs (X 86) folder."

    Hi PMB.

    You must remove the preview for your Lightroom Catalog Cache.

    It is located in the same folder as the catalog in Lightroom. The name of the cache an extract ends with Previews.LRDATA and should be deleted. Not to be confused with *. LRCAT, which should not be deleted. Here is a picture of what it is named as default Lightroom5catalogPreviews.Lrdata.

    Location /Pictures/Lightroom on Mac and my Pictures\Lightroom on Windows Pictures/Lightroom on MAC

    Delete this folder and restart Lightroom

    You need two flat files on a privilege of 2000.

    UTL_FILE.fclose (v1);
