Error: «Sorry, that a serious error has occcured...» »

I have recently started to edit a video and have been frequently encounter this error message. Since my beginning of work, 24 hours earlier, up to now, the problem has grown and grown - to the point of not being able to even edit anything unless it gives me the error. It started with my calendar goes black once in a while when I would drag a clip from the source monitor, but now I encounter the error within 1 to 3 minutes of loading my project.

I've also met some other errors, but only 2 or 3 times, I remember was a short message "Unknown error", which is when I made a text title.

I tried to move all my files to another folder and their restoration of links in my project, as suggested by some people online, I recently defragged my system and erased my registry as well. I am unaware of how to check if I am dealing with a file corrupted on my hands and I still check my RAM and hardware - drivers, partly because it is late, and in part because I don't know how.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated

Thanks in advance.

Oops! You want to stay as many DivX/Xvid, you can. They are highly compressed "performance only" formats and are not intended to be published. They do a good job to compress the files in the delivery, but can give all sorts of problems, if we're trying to change them. Probably the best we can hope is that they might have no video or no Audio. It is also very, very common to encounter major problems of OOS (Out Of Sync). Do not put into play until you're ready to get files ready for final delivery. Even so, I export to a DV - AVI Type II and use DivX Pro converter for the final delivery system.

Good luck

  • "Sorry, that a serious error has occurred...". »

A problem I had sporadically in the past became a serious problem today. Every time I opened a project in Adobe Premiere Pro and you try to edit in 5-10 minutes, I get the "sorry, a serious error has occurred which requires Adobe Premiere Pro to stop. We will try to save your current project". The crash does not appear to be caused by any of a given action, but it happened whenever I tried to run the first today (10 times so far).

    Info/version of the system

Adobe first Pro CC 2015 c. version 9.0.1

    iMac (27-inchm end of 2013)

    OS X 10.10.5 (Yosemite)

    3.5 GHz Intel Core i7

    32 GB OF RAM

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4096MB

    5 images of 5 d Mark II

Without execution of plug-ins/software, part 3

I note also that all my project files and the images are stored on a network drive, run by the computer SCIENCE Department at the University, that I work. I have edited many many projects that same way (on the network drive) for years and have never had a problem.

Someone at - he guesses about what is at the origin of the crash? I have a screenshot of the accident report and that you can post that if that would be helpful.

    Thank you

I think I found a solution for now. After tests without end, re-setup of first and updated to El Capitan (10.11.4) with no luck, I updated the driver for my Nvidia GeForce 780 M graphics card (version 346.03.02) and 7.5 CUDA for Mac OS X, then passed under the rendering setting (settings project file) premiered at CUDA OpenCL. This seems to have done the first one a lot more stable, and after several hours of work, it has not yet crash. It is the first time in over a week I have been able to work for a long time without crashing, so I hope that I found a solution.

  • Sorry, that a serious error has occurred which requires Adobe Premiere Pro stop. We will try to save your current project.

Whenever I have put a video in the timeline of the sequence, this error message appears, "Sorry, a mistake that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to stop. We will try to save your current project. "and then the first crashes.

I tried to uninstall all of the products and then reinstalling, and the problem is still there.

What can I do to fix this?

    @RoninEdits, thanks for the reply.

But yes, I have tried both the Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration AND software only and it is the same problem with both.

  • "Sorry, that a serious error has occurred which requires Adobe Premiere Pro to close."

I just changed to an external drive.

He slightly unplugged and disconnected, but I pushed him in pretty quickly that never noticed first... so I thought.

2 minutes later when editing it's me the crash.

Now I can't move a single clip within a period (on any project, even those on my desktop) without this upcoming accident.

I have re-installed, tried the thing shift-Option and the removal of the media cache, but nothing yet.

  • "Sorry, a serious error has occurred" in CS6

    Hello

I recently got this error message a lot while working on a project. «I'm sorry, that a serious error has occurred which requires Adobe Premiere Pro stop.» We will try to save your current project". It's renaming the project I'm working on that and all the images rendering must be re-renderings. Except that nothing changes. Its more an annoyance than a problem. The only thing that is different in this video, it's that I'm editing with a lot of animated layers. Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Alex

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for your post. The question could be installation on a particular sequence. Please try to create a new sequence and copy and paste the old sequence in the new.

  • Error - Sorry, a serious error has occurred for the installation of the game Command and Conquer Generals.

Original title: Command and Conquer Generals error? Some one care to help?

So now I'm a little disappointed in how things are going right now.

I had Command and Conquer Generals before and I used to read. Bug of the game problems are forcing me to remove it. To make things worse, my PC has been infected with malware/spyware that sneak their way inside my C & C Generals App. I did a full scan using Spy Bot Search & Destroy alongside with MalwareBytes Anti-Malware.

Then, I tried to re - download and installed a CLEAN one. However, when it loads the classic C & C Splash Screen(the loading page that appears before the game turns into a full screen app), another windows appears and displays this:

    "TECHNICAL PROBLEMS".
"Sorry, a serious error has occurred."

After the application closes, and happens whenever I start the game.

    Can someone help me?

I don't know what's happened since she was working before.

I do weekly maintenance using Auslogics Boost Speed 5 and Systweak Advanced System Optimizer 3.

    System Specs:
    Microsoft Windows XP SP3
Intel Pentium IV CPU 2.00 GHZ
    256 RAM
Radeon 7000 / Radeon VE Family (Microsoft Corporation)

Every effort to answer my question will be much, much, much appreciated!

I'll make sure that you have all the patches that are underway for the game Command and Conquer Generals.
    http://www.GameSpot.com/PC/strategy/commandconquergenerals/downloads.html

If you have access to a library and a flash drive, you can download Microsoft Security Essentials or any other antivirus disk analysis software and then install on your computer even if you do not have access to the internet.
This will help make sure that you have cleaned your computer properly.

A system restore back to a point in time so if you have installed all new programs since the date of the restoration of the system, you won't have any more of these programs installed.

I don't know any other software in system restore, but you can do a search on the internet, however, they can only restore from when their software is installed.

    I hope this helps.

  • I get this message error - "sorry, a serious error has occurred which requires Adobe Premiere Pro to stop. We will try to save your current project".

So I had [already] CS5 on my computer. I wanted to move to the new first Pro CC. So, until I did research on the passage, I just uninstall old Adobe all files my computer to ask a table open for my new download [first Pro CC].

I am a beginner with the 30 day free trial, then initiate the payment once the trial is over. I did everything what I had to do to install the latest version of Adobe first Pro CC.

Whenever I click the first Pro CC icon, it starts to launch upward, and about 5 seconds and it gives me the error "sorry, a serious error has occurred which requires Adobe Premiere Pro to stop. We will try to save your current project"and stops immediately...

    I have a 27-inch iMac [2014] new nice.

I have enough memory and ram.

What is causing this error? For more information on this would be greatly appreciated.

  • "A serious error has occurred" when I try to drag a video clip on my calendar.

    Hello

I use the first Pro CC on Yosemite 10.10.1.  For some reason any, whenever I try to drag a clip in a timeline - any clip in all your projects, new or old - the Prime Minister immediately crashes and I get an error: "sorry, a serious error has occurred. Adobe first needs to close. We will try to save your project.

This is the last report of crash, I got: gist: ebb14b58a932ff05a627

Obviously, I can't not all work done at this time, then I would be extremely grateful for any help to solve this problem.

I also lived down in Illustrator. I found my way to this subject and discovered that my problem is a Chrome extension called Pushbullet. After the suppression of Pushbullet of Chrome and restarted my computer, I was able to drag clips into my script again. If you use Pushbullet or perhaps another ill run Chrome extension, chances are, that could very well be the source of your problem!

  • "SERIOUS ERROR HAS BEEN DETECTED" CS2

I am owner of Creative Suite 2 (academic version). I have the serial number for her records, and he is registered under my name. I use Mac OS x 10.6.8 as my operating system.

I used Photoshop CS2 last night with no problems. This afternoon, I tried to open a file in Photoshop, and my file does not open. After a few minutes rotation beach ball cursor, a notice pops up saying something like "an error has occurred" and something for me to have to save it because the 30 day trial has increased, and if I register, I wouldn't be able to use the program more (but as I said, I have a copy of CS2 ", it isn't a trial). And he gave me the opportunity to register, but when I tried, it did nothing and just took back me to the same screen saying the same thing. So I closed it. But since I did it, was opening Photoshop, showing all the tools and everything, but I still get the rotation beach ball cursor. And now a screen appears after a while saying "sorry, a serious error has been detected. To continue using Adobe Creative Suite, please reinstall the application".

Then... I reinstalled Creative Suite 2. And it STILL does the same thing. Telling me to reinstall CS2 again. And NOW, Illustrator won't work, either. At least until I reinstalled it, Illustrator worked. I don't have the time or patience to keep reinstalling.

PLEASE HELP ME! I NEED THIS PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

    Thank you in advance,

    Tiffany

    I finally found a solution!

OK, so apparently, Adobe has decided to stop supporting the server for CS2 in December 2013. I did not know that.

This is what caused the problem. You must download the online programs and use the numbers given here: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=cs2%5Fdownloads

It worked! And I'm back using programs again once without any problems so far.

    Hello

    Try the following

Firstly, uninstall your current version of HP Support Assistant using Microsoft 'Fixit' at the following link: this is particularly useful for correcting problems that may prevent resettlement on the machines running a 64 bit OS.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall

When this has completed, restart the laptop.

Then download and install the latest version of HP Support Assistant of the page on the link below - the download links are to the bottom of the page.

After installation, restart the computer again.

  • All-in-one Officejet J6480: glass J6480 scan fails: "Sorry, an unknown error has occurred." Mac OS 10.5.8

(Officejet J6480 all-in-One, PowerMac G5, Mac OS 10.5.8, wired ethernet/WLAN) Sweeping the window stopped working and gives message: 'error. Sorry, an unknown error has occurred. "That's all. I can always scan the ScanPro application if I run first of all of the computer, but nothing of glass - i.e. manually, using the buttons on the control panel of the camera itself - to one of the destinations, I tried (PDF preview.), JPEG, HP Photosmart, etc..

I uninstalled the software suite HP, reinstalled (latest version: 9.7.1), and engaged in the installation process, it has been completed successfully. But no change in behavior.

I tried the procedure in a similar position:

OK, one more not - we will reset the printing system: right click - Sys Prefs, Print & Fax - (control) the area of the print queue and select Reset printing system. -Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

.. .but the behavior of my printer has not changed, and the error message is still the same, when I tried to scan from the glass. Any help?

    Hi @jcoronat,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you get an error when you try to scan. I would like to help.

I took most of these steps from a post of Sunshyn2005. To be honest, all I did is to change the links to software, but the post is enough onsite for troubleshooting of Mac software.

    Scrub / uninstall

    • Open the Applications folder > folder HP or Hewlett Packard > Uninstall HP
    • Click continue, click on one of the printers in the list.
    • * Only perform this step if you have not all other HP printers.  Press and hold the Option, control and command, while now the three buttons.
    • Click Uninstall.

Manually uninstall the remaining files potentially - I apologize in advance is not a fun task! I'll try to make it easy to follow. Some of the files described in the following steps can be found, if you can't find one of the files or folders on your computer, do not be alarmed.

Move the files or folders to the Recycle Bin, drag and drop

    • Macintosh HD/Applications / /Hewlett-Packard folder
    • Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support /- delete all files and folders on HP/Hewlett Packard
    • In Macintosh HD/Library/Caches - delete all files and folders on HP/Hewlett Packard
    • Macintosh HD/Library/Documentation/Help /- delete all files and folders on HP/Hewlett Packard
    • MacintoshHD/Library/Frameworks/HPServicesInterface.framework
    • MacintoshHD/Library/Frameworks/HPSmartX.framework
    • Macintosh HD/Library/Image Capture / TWAIN Data Sources /HP Scan Pro
    • In Macintosh HD/Library/Image Capture/Scripts - delete all files and folders on HP/Hewlett Packard
    • In Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences - delete all files and folders on HP/Hewlett Packard

Move the Macintoshloginwindow.plist on the desktop. NOTE: Does not delete the loginwindow.plist file during the manual uninstallation may cause uninstall be retained.

    • In Macintosh HD/library/printers/hp - delete the folder
    • In Macintosh HD/Library/StartupItems, drag the following files in the trash, IO HP and HP trap monitor
    • In Macintosh HD/users/username (this should have a symbol of a house next to him) / Library/Preferences, drag the following files to the Trash: * all files starting with com.apple.print, * all files starting with com.hp, * all files beginning with Hewlett-Packard, * files starting with HP or hp
    • In MacintoshHD/users/USERNAME/Library/printers, drag all all-in-one printers listed here in the trash.
    • Drag the icons of HP from the dock and drop it onto a blank space on the desktop. The icon will disappear.

    Close all open windows.
    Turn it back on.
    Empty the trash.

    Reset the printing system

    1. Click on the Apple icon ( ), then click on System Preferences.
