Error - the instruction at "0x7c923845" referenced memory at "0x00000000". the memory could not be "read". Computer Windows XP freezes when online.
Original title: svchost.exe - Application error.
When I'm online I get the error message appear as follows:
Svchost.exe - Application error
The instruction at "0x7c923845" referenced memory at "0x00000000". the memory could not be "read".
Then my computer freezes
Don't know what triggered it on my machine, I do not use 'messenger' , but I discovered that it was something to do with Windows. I have a Toshiba laptop, I finally ran the process of "adding value to products" using their 'product recovery disk '. It took hours to reload everything and download the updates after the hard drive has been re-configured, but it seems to have solved the problems that I had with. Radical solution, I know, but I'm not a "geek" so was becoming more frustrated with the constant "freezes" and poor performance. I can only assume that my Windows XP system had somehow been corrupted. It's all working fine now, fingers crossed!

"SVCHOST memory could not be read" preventing Windows startup.
When I turn on the laptop it crosses starts and when the logon Windows page happens I get an error.
SVCHOST. EXE 'Instruction at '0x001c623c' referenced memory "0x0000003c". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to finish.
After that, I am unable to connect. When I try to open a session on the system hangs and must be turned off. If I try to start in safe mode it crashes as well. All this came after I installed Norton. I had just removed a virus ' HDD more "and the computer had no problem starting. After that I removed the HARD drive and I rebooted with the problems and installed Norton. He started giving me problems when I rebooted after the installation of the Norton.
The laptop is a Toshiba XP.
We ended by wiping the machine and start from scratch. It was a pain because we had to re - install all the other programs that was using the computer.
In any case, at the time, that the computer has been infected, there was only the McAfee that came with the computer. He also had Spybot but it was not configured for continuous operation. After that I followed the instructions to get rid of the Plus HARD drive, I've removed McAffe and then installed the Norton. I have never connected to the internet after you remove McAffe or during the installation of Norton. After installation of Norton I did the reboot and it's then that SVCHost problems appeared.
In any case, consider this problem fixed, thanks to those who offered help.

Error "the operation could not be completed" - made bridge to freeze
I just installed the latest version of the bridge and use it for the first time to organize the images for a video project. By browsing through my media in the content window, I'll try to rename lot a group of clips by selecting them all, but sometimes (maybe half the time or more) when I pointed out, I get an error that says: 'the operation failed. " I'll hit Ok, and now my Bridge seems to be half-frozen. I say half, because I can always rename batch, but now I can't navigate further through the different folders in the content tab and the only thing that works is coming out completely and restart Bridge. Restarting bridge is also a problem, because I can't CMD + Q, or right click and quit smoking, I have to CMD + ALT + Esc and force him to leave.
I use the latest version of Yosemite (10.10.5) and wonder if this is the problem, or does anyone else have this problem as well. I'm running the 6.1.1.10 bridge.
Hi Jeff,

Before all sorry if this has been covered before, I searched key words for my mistake, but couldn't really find anything of any help. I use Acrobat Professional 7.0 in conjunction with a VB6 program that calls acrobats JSO object to execute the menu item "Save" to save a currently open PDF (which was also opened through the JSO). The program works continuiously 24/7 and has no problem set apart from the wee hours of the night. To anywhere between midnight and 02:00 Acrobat crashes on the execution of the function "save" with the following error:
"The Instruction at"0x2d864aa2"referenced memory at"0x00000008". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program"
