Error Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function. MySQL-pconnect]: access denied

Hi all

I am creating a website in Adobe Dreamweaver CS6. I am trying to add a page with a membership form that fields of entries in a database.

I have set up a local test server (using xampp) that worked. That is to say the form accepts the data and passes through to the database.

However, when I put the form and files to the remote server and try to access the page of form input (www.friendsofchopin.org.au/mem_form.php), I get the following error:

Warning : mysql_pconnect() [Function.MySQL - pconnect]: access denied for user 'chopinau_admin'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/chopinau/public_html/Connections/memconn.php on line 9

Fatal error: access denied for user 'chopinau_admin'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/chopinau/public_html/Connections/memconn.php on line 9

memconn.php script is the following:

<? PHP

# FileName = "Connection_php_mysql.htm"

# Type = 'MYSQL '.

# HTTP = 'true '.

$hostname_memconn = "localhost";

$database_memconn = "chopinau_membership";

$username_memconn = "chopinau_admin";

$password_memconn = "xxxxxxxxxxxx";

$memconn = mysql_pconnect ($hostname_memconn, $username_memconn, $password_memconn) or trigger_error (mysql_error (), E_USER_ERROR);

Grateful for any help in changing the code (total nube), also have a doc with screenshots and details of what I do in Dreamweaver and in my cPanel.

See you soon,.

Hi Preran

I have the same problem. It works fine when I use it on my test in Dreamveawer CC (preview/debug in browser) machine, but as soon as I test it on the Web server, it gives the error. I use the same host, user and password.

Concerning

Donald

Your remote connection may be different from your local connection.

Did you check with your host that what connection you should use?

'localhost' in the connection string might be just your domain name - "yourdomain.com".

$connect=mysql_pconnect("localhost","root","password")or die("error in user");

    Hello

    You are unable to download the updates?

    Try the following steps to resolve the problem:

    Method 1: Temporarily disable any security (including firewalls) software and check if the problem persists.

    Check out these links:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

    If disabling the security software solves the problem, then contact the manufacturer of the specific security software to fix the problem.

    Important: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable
    your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are
    connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2:
    See the article mentioned below and run the Fixit diagnostic tool to fix the error 643.

    You receive error code 80070643 0 x or 0 x 643, code error when you use the Windows Update or Microsoft Update Web sites to install updates:

  • Pavillion 500-368na: ERROR of UEFI: verification failed (15) access denied

    Since today when I start or restart my PC, I immediately get a blue screen that says:

    Verification failed: (15) access denied

    I press return to enter 'OK' and get another blue screen called "Shim UEFI key management.

    I gives me 3 options: continue start; Register the disk key; Enter the hash of the disc

    If I select Register hash/key I have a long list - I tried selecting some of them, but the key is not found [message: only the encoded DER certificate (*.cer/der/crt) is supported].

    If I select continue starting I boot directly into Windows 8.1 (64-bit) despite my system dual-boot with a Linux distribution (and work with Linux and Windows perfectly until today). Every time I have start or restart, I have to go through this same sequence and can only start Windows.

    Info additional possiblly important:

    (1) I was prompted to upgrade to Windows 10 but have not yet done yet - I "hide" the 8.1-> upgrade option 10.

    (2) yesterday (i.e. just before this problem appeared) the HP Support Assistant "HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI" updated version 5.8.2.0

    At any expert UEFI tips to overcome this problem of access denied or tell me how to register the key that seems to be lost for some reason?

    Thank you very much.

  • New Flash 9 won't install on Mac PPC - 1008:5,-5000 access denied error

    I tried to install the new version of Flash 9 on my Mac Power PC (a G4 running OX 10.4.10). I received the following error messages:

    "Error creating file: 1008:5,-5000 access denied error.
    "You don't have enough privileges to access for this installation.

    I tried a correction posted on the forum yesterday afternoon and the fix published here last night:

    http://KB.Adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=4aa64290 & sliceId = 1

    but these failed. The solution requires multiple users with different permission levels, but my Mac is a system of a user, and I have permission throughout the system.

    I think that the problem lies in the installer itself and not the systems on which users install the software.

    There are two types of install on a Power PC Mac: I call install Passive and Active.

    Passive installation opens a file on the desktop and asks the user to drag the program icon in the Applications folder. Once the copy is complete, the program is installed. No authorization is required - no password must be affixed - because the copy function assumes that the user has permission to make the copy.

    Active setup is running an installation program or a script, which place the program and the associated files in the appropriate in the system folders. Active installs ALWAYS require the installer enter the user name and password in order to continue installing - it validates permissions and Setup can continue.

    Setup on your new version of Flash 9 is an Active installation program, but he asks NO username and password before you continue with the installation. It's the FIRST time I've ever seen this behavior with a program install Active, and I think that's the problem that people have with the installation.

    chmod commands in the Terminal are a 'excessive difficulty', if you will forgive the expression. Simply re - write your Setup program to require username and password as all installers Active, and I believe that the problem will be solved.

    Until you do this, my Mac has more Flash of any flavor. is there a previous version that I can download to get this software on my system, until correct you the installer?

    Thank you.

  • Impossible to update of Windows Media Player and Microsoft Security Essentials and the error is "access denied error 80070005."

    Apparently an involuntary change of administrative privileges or permissions (Windows XP Pro, SP3) keeps me updated Media Player version 9 to 11 v. and updated virus Security Essentials definitions.
    For Media Player, wmsetup.log reports access denied error 80070005 and UpdSpAPI.log reports access denied for the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Settings\MP3Encoding\LowRate registry key. In regedt32, I'm blocked from display HKLM\...\MediaPlayer\Settings and below, and "are allowed to view the current permission settings, but... can make a change." Except that I can't. I can enter the change but get «...» Access is denied"trying to apply them. So this is the first problem that I need help.
    But of course it's more than a registry key and the subkeys, because MSE too is affected and will download but not install virus definitions. WindowsUpdate.log reports: failed to install with error 80070643.
    My user account (it's the only one!) is part of the Administrators group and all that I tried to verify administrative permissions is positive. This is a new issue. No virus/malware, according to MSE, Lavasoft Ad-Aware, MalWarebytes Anti-Malware.

    My version of Windows is up-to-date. I have no problem hardware or exceptional driver. I tried to temporarily disable my antivirus to complete the installation, this does not solve the problem. I tried to install it as a system administrator. I searched the site of Valve/steam software for a solution, none were found (http://store.steampowered.com/). I searched the database of Microsoft for a solution, none were found. I'm having no problem with other games or applications that were loaded on that computer. The problem is only with the application steam.exe and any game that requires the application of steam to the function.
    I came across the following link which has promised to solve the problem;

    I followed the instructions at three times, all with the same error message.
    The default program is responsible for the following: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Steam.
    I tried to load the program on different hard disks and got the same error code.
    I have triple checked all user profiles to make sure that the appropriate privileges have been set (Admin). I checked all the steam program elements to ensure that they have been set to run as a program director executed. I double checked that proper TCP/UDP ports are open for the application of the steam function. http://www.resoo.org/docs/Counterstrike/steam_ports.html
    Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Platinum,

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Vista Community Forums.

    This error is primarily caused by a lack of permissions for the user, having the Steam.exe file attributes set to 'Read only', or by another program interferes with the installation of Steam process (if the steam client application has been updated to a version that was not included in your package of Steam, Steam will download a new copy of itself and then delete the old file Steam.exe except when another program interferes).

    1. check your Windows user permissions.
    Please ensure that you are logged on as administrator on the computer that you use to install Steam.
    2. check the file attributes
    3. right click on the file Steam.exe, which was created after running the Steam Installer, and then select Properties
    4 uncheck the read-only box if it is checked and hit apply before closing the window
    5. try running the Steam.exe file once more
    6. check the settings of your security software

    If you are running an antivirus, firewall or any product safety program that may interfere with the removal and replacement of the file Steam.exe (some security software will check information of a file whenever it is changed and block the automatic replacement of files) Please check your settings for the program and ensure that you are prompted to authorize activities that may trigger the security software.

    Remove spyware, Adware and virus software and try to run the installation again.

    In addition to the steps above, follow these steps:
    1. go in C:/Program Files/Steam /.
    2. right click on Steam.exe and go to properties.
    3. click on the Compatibility tab.
    4. check run as administrator and click OK.
    5. then I deleted StemeTemp (or something like that. the steam icon).
    6. then run Steme.exe again.

    It will be useful.
