  I have a problem that only occurs during the closing down. When I select Shut Down I soon get a pop up that says... the application could not start correctly (0xc0000142) click on OK to close the application. window label is cmd.exe. Whether I click on the window, closing down product and eventually after say 30 seconds the alarm disappears. clicking on the alert simply displays another alert. This only occurs during the closing down. Also, I have no problem to launch cmd.exe during the normal operation, or any other program running in the command window.   Hello world!

  On the HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 m602, who met breaks in print jobs during the passage of the trays?  Example, we are going to print invoices and we have a rule configuration that prints on plate 2 with the exception of the last page that is perforated paper tray 3.  So, in a job of 5 pages, pages 1-4 are the tray 2 paper... then page 5 is perforated tray 3.  There is a 2 to 3 seconds when the last page is extracted from tray 3.  If the invoice is only 2 pages, the print job appears super slow.

  This printer was working fine with no delay until we applied the firmware 2302786_433718.  Now, the delay is very noticeable.  We do not know if it was intentional or not in the new firmware.

  We use the latest PCL 5 Universal Print Driver.  The only thing that has changed is the firmware.  We even tried a full reset of firmware.  Problem is still there.

  I worked with HP support, but we were told to wait... the next version of firmware that may or may not fix everything.

  Any help or insight is appreciated.

We set up printer for ordinary paper into tray 2 and tray 3, default regular bond has been set at light mode printing and binding for the print mode binding.   I see that you deleted by mistake your Mac partition during the installation of Windows. The partition itself deleted or was it the Mac OS that has been erased, leaving an empty partition?

  If the latter, you can reinstall OS X from OS X Recovery. See this article for how that should be done: On OS X Recovery
  Otherwise, you can use Internet recovery (Command-Option-R, as opposed to the command-R) to repartition the entire hard drive and install the version of Mac OS X provided on your Mac. Who is finished, you can upgrade to El Capitan via the App Store > bought.

  Yes, the basic installation is somewhat a mystery where this configuration is stored.

  What to change in the httpd.conf file? If it's the ports you can do it in em. There is a link on the home page to change the port numbers.

  The specified file looks more like a model, but can be used. It should have little impact if you modify this file, just make a backup in case it fails.

• Everything on my laptop lost during the night. Seems to be like a new computer with none of my icons, folders, pictures, or whatever it is that I put on here. Don't know what happened! Help, please.

  Thanks much for the advice, but I found where some updates have not been filled and after several reboots and updates processing everything on my desk, changed again the way I got it.  In fact, I went to C: users and then myself, then all my documents, pictures, ets. was there, so I later found lastnight it wasn't lost, just moved for some reason any.  I then started to look to check the status of the updates pushed out and there are service packs that has not been installed, so I crossed my fingers and agreed to allow them to install and went to bed.  Now computer seems to be back to my settings.  But thank you very much for answering.  It was the first time that I've already posted a question b/c that I generally find the answers online, but it was getting the best of me.  Probably b/c of the thought of losing all my photos only Childs and thinking of how my wife would react.  Thank God it worked.  Thanks again.

• Tips for improving of LR2 to 3 during the passage to a new computer?

  My old mac was a G5 so I finally joined the modern world with a new iMac. On the new machine, I installed LR3, but I'm still running LR2 on the old machine. I want to come all my photos/catalogs/dbs (probably by getting an external HD enclosure to the current unit of the old machine) to the new machine and LR2. A few tips on how to import everything? Nothing to watch? I have thousands of images, some of them paid employment, and I don't want to lose anything. Thank you.

  Rule # 1: IMPORTEZ not!

  That's what I'd do:

  • On the old machine and LR2, make sure that you have one (or a few) top level for all your images folders, and that they show in a hierarchical way in your folder Panel. You may need to use "Add a folder" several times to achieve.
  • With the old disk mounted on the new machine, double-click the LR2 catalog to start LR3
  • You will be asked if you want to convert your LR2 catalog in a catalog in LR3
  • Confirm this action, which will build a new catalog of your catalog of LR2 LR3, leaving the LR2 catalog because it is
  • If your missing files/images (that I'm not sure on a Mac when the same volume is mounted as an external drive), perform a 'find the missing folder' on all the top-level folders in your catalog, pointing to the files on the mounted volume
  • If needed/wanted, you can then move the folders from top level of image of in LR to another volume

  • In the Task Manager, click the file menu and then click new task (run) and enter explorer

   

  If you cannot start the Explorer at all

  • Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and choose Task Manager
  • Under the processes tab, click Show processes from all users to elevate to administrator
  • In the Task Manager, click the file menu and then click new task (run) and type cmd
