errors: the host 'smtp' could not be found

original title: errors

my computer is says the host 'smtp' could not be found. Please check that you have entered the server name correctly.

Topic 'IT' was so hard to find you account 'pop3', server 'smtp' Protocol: SMTP, Port 25, secure (SSL): no, socket Error: 11001, error number: 0x800CCC0D. I don't know how to fix the problem and would appreicate greatly someone to help me.

If your SMTP server is exactly as posted above, it's at least part of the problem because it is incorrectly shaped - that is certain - and usually identifies the specific server (although what you use may be correct depending on the provider).  Also, which seems to be an unusually worded message - which is exactly what he said or hat a translation?

I recommend you to contact your email provider and confirm the appropriate settings for your e-mail program (did you guide step by step it) and see if that solves the problem.  They are generally very useful for settings of accounts properly.  It is probably just a typo or a parameter that is marked incorrectly or checked by mistake.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!
