• EAS admin user has no rights to create user

  We have 11.1.1.3 EAS. After I login as an admin user, I don't seem to have the rights to create another user of the Regional service. I tried the following, but my "user Setup Wizard' is gray:

  First of all, if Essbase is registered with Shared Services then EAS must be registered with the SSP (but vice versa is not true). So both of your Essbase EAS & registered with HSS currently. User called "admin" is default EAS with password 'password' so if you want to create another user of Regional service then: -.

  1. first connection in HSS.
  2. create the new user, "EASUser".
  3 - right click on the new user and select the option "provision".
  4. then just expand tree called 'Business Rules' and the name of your EAS server will display.
  5 - Finally, expand Server EAS and you can see users like 'Administrator', 'Basic user' etc. and all new user with any of these type of user.
  6 - login in the Regional service Console with new user "EASUser" and add the server Essbase with Essbase valid user.

  In the pane actions on the right in the tab general, you should be able to click on properties, then change the basic properties. From there, you can select which roles can view your dashboard. It should then appear in the pane on the left at the bottom under 'other dashboard users' (or something equivalent).
  I have not found a way to put my dashboard in the "my dashboards" of another user if.

  (1) create a dummy resource, say 'CREATE the RESOURCE USER IOM'... It should be of type 'Order of the organization' and not 'Order for User. Create a model organization, such as CREATE USER ORGANIZATION or better ORGANIZATION OF USER OPERATIONS too for the sole purpose of acceptance of the application.

  In the form of resources either in the form of object, take all required attributes such as user login, first name, last name, organization etc.

  (2) establish an approval process: say "assign system Admin Approval '.

  (3) in the assignment tab, assign the task to the Group--> SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (or any other group of your business condition)

  Optionally, you can even send emails too.

  (4) in the process of commissioning, in the stream, flow, the shape of the object in your process.

  (5) in the "Create a user" task, call tcUserOperationsIntf.createUser () and pass all from processes form...

  (6) raises 'request '... Fill in the data... And then approve it... The user must be created...

  (7) in the CREATE USER ORGANIZATION profile resource, the IOM CREATE USER the RESOURCE and the process shape shows all the attributes of the user.

  What Timo says is that there is a bug in 11.1.1.5 when you use the restore operation in a table. It is not the cause of the behavior you want in connection, but the only solution to the bug at the moment is to use the version 11.1.1.4 or 11.1.2. As it seems that you are just in the process of learning, I suggest you practice with what you do in 11.1.1.5, or are you really just learning and not not only in versions, simply enter 11.1.2 and continue with this version.

  When I connect, the ability to create users is grayed out. If I look at the Users Table, my user Type display "administrator."
  
  1. I guess that only a newspaper of the administrator can create users. Is it a correct assumption?
  2. I'm th only person who actively uses Essbase and I HAV only my log in credentials. What should I do if the administrator log is lost?

  In environmental assessments the essbase server right click and select Edit > properties, the Security tab should have a 'Shared Services Security Mode", if activated, and then uses the security of shared services.

  When I am creating the user with table space default 'SYSTEM' I get the following error message

   SQL> create user chetan

  and when I change EXAMPLE its created as follows table space

  May be your connection settings are correct, also check if the OID is released or not.

  You are able to open the OID?

• 11g create user identified by the values?

  In the 10g version and under we could easily migrate users (including the password) to one database to another using:
  
  CREATE USER scott IDENTIFIED BY "{encrypted password}" VALUES... blah, blah...
  
  What is the equivalent 11 g of this order which would allow me to migrate users from a database 11 g to another?
  
  Is ONLY option datapump?

  If you have already created the account Smart-TV the TV should save the connection data and new account creation is not required.

  Please try to reset the default TV and try again.
