ESSCMD control flow

Hi all, I am working on the automation of the information on the size of the DB and fragmentation. While I use GETDBSTATS in esscmd to get information, I used fndstr to extract the average fragmentation and size Grand Total. The problem now is that I can't run one after the other. My ESSCMD file is:

connection 'localhost', 'admin', 'password ';

SELECT 'DEMO' "BASIC";

GETDBSTATS;

LISTFILES;

EXIT;

and the batch file is:

esscmd.bat myess.scr > dbinfo.log-> control's end here, and not to proceed to the next command

echo 'Information written to log'-> This is never run

Any ideas on how to automate this?

I think it is down to the operation of CMD.  The call to one script from another results in the first script to abort, except if you use CALLS.  See Batch - files CALL the site of Rob van der Woude.

For example:

call startEsscmd.cmd myess.scr > dbinfo.log

echo "information written to log".

That said, while I automate monitoring is an excellent idea, I don't know why you write a new solution using ESSCMD and not its replacement, MaxL (unless you are on an older version).  Is there something that you need to watch that MaxL won't give you?

    If you have the control-flow-case defined between Page1.jspx to Page2.jspx as "goToPage2."
    You can use the code snippet in the bean managed in Page1.jspx

    FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();

  • Page fragment bounded-task-Flow Control Flow Help

    jDeveloper: 11.1.1.0.2

    I have a question to try to understand the correct way to use control flow case between a bounded-task-flow with fragments of page and a page without limits-task-flow. We have taken the approach of our application to have some shell / container pages to host bounded task flows composed of fragments of page to facilitate the reuse and accelerate development. There are 4 or 5 pages of shell on the unlimited-task-flow applications. From now on, we have about 20 fragments of page that are implemented as a bounded flow task. These fragments don't do much now, which means there is only a single fragment in each delimited-task-flow. The question that I'm going to try to call action from navigation to control flow of one of the fragments to load a page another shell.

    For example, shellPage1.jspx contains fragment-flow-1 as a region. In my adfc-config I have shellPage1.jspx and shellPage2.jspx, with the case of 'toShell1' and 'toShell2' control flow, respectively linking two pages. I have a link action related to the 'toShell2' in the fragment that make up fragment-flow-1. When the application is run, shellPage1.jspx and its fragment are displayed. But clicking on the link in the fragment ("toShell2") do absolutely nothing. This not me access the shellPage2.jspx as expected. What I do wrong here or do not understand?

    If the fragment is included as include a JSP page, and not a narrow-minded, all workflow works as expected. This is not desirable, as we then need to copy the fragment pageDef in pageDef of the shellPage to get the DataControls function.
    If the faces - config.xml is used instead, and a case of JSF navigation is used, it also works as expected. This is not desirable because we really do want to be mixing adcf-config and faces-config.

    So I am really puzzled here... Thanks in advance!

    Hello:
    In your case, the adfc - config.xml has the case of flow control between the pages of the shell. And the task-flow - N.xml or yours-task - flow.xml for each default page fragment does not inherit control flow of the page containing the shell case. In your case, in the task of page fragment - flow.xml, you must add a "Parent Action' to sink to shell page2 for example. The result of 'Parent Action' would be 'toShell2' If you call ShellPage1 page fragment.
    Is it 'OK' or 'Useful' for you? Please mark it as if it does.
    Good luck

  • How to add examples of control flow in the bean to support?

    Hi all
    I use a template for all my jspx pages in my application. This model provides a header which includes the menu of the page all the others. So when I click on a menu it will redirect to the related page. But my problem is that there are so many cases of Flow Control adfc-config.Xml file. For example, 64 cases of control flow must be if there are 8 menus. How can I when a user has clicked on a menu, the case of control flow will be created in the CommandMenu action method?
    Thank you

    Hello

    No you don, t, you can use rules of global control flow, simply do not define the "of-activity-id". Then, if the result occurs, where he come, the user will be moved to the target activity id. 8 pages should probably be 8 control-flow-case within a single global-flow-control rule.

    Hello

    I have the following problem. All the 'af:commandButton' action in my application does not run "control-flow-box" in a "unbound the workflow.
    I decided to use the workflow when I needed the "bookmark" function (previously I was using only the rules of navigation in faces-config. (XML).

    (3) create 2 "case of control flow" cases (flow available1 and flow2)
    (4) double click on in the designer to create View1 (page based on "Oracle three columns")
    (5) double click on in the designer to create view2 (page based on "Oracle three columns")
    (6) add "af:commandButton" on each page and used available1 flows and the flow2 for action

    When I deploy the application on the development server 'af:commandButton' action will not run "control-flow-case".
    When I deploy the application on the JdevBuiltInServer the 'af:commandButton' action will run 'control-flow-cases '.
    When I deploy the application to the JdevBuiltInServer or the server development with only the rules of navigation in faces - config.xm, the 'af:commandButton' action will run "control-flow-box.

  • difference between control flow and check knowledge module

    Hello

    I know ckm and flow control. What is the main difference between the Frother and CKM?

    CKM is the model of knowledge that ODI will use to check all the constraints you create.

    Flow control is the way to a check constraint during the flow of an interface (it's way happens to you in your integration tables [temporary]). This method deletes the data of 'bad' and it will record in a table of $ E. Also, you have some option to recycle errors (next ODI run will try to reuse these data)

    Static control is another way to check your constraints. This is static as its name suggests and is average, it will only count the errors, but it won't do anything with the data. It might happens in the source tables.

    The most used method is the regulator of throughput with certainty, but static electricity has some advantages too.

    For example, flow control has only a little when you check duplicate data. When he found it eliminated the two registry (or more if there are more). It's average, you get nothing in the end.

    You can use the static control to check your sorce tables and create a process to eliminate or filter duplicate data, allowing only data duplicated to cross.

    Hope this can help you.

    $user_agent->-> as_string cookie_jar don't ");

    "

    And this time I waited for a long time and I get an error message that there is a problem with the SOAP.

    o conf urllist push http://backpan.perl.org

    install GAAS/Net-HTTP-6.03.tar.gz

    install www-perl-6.03-tar.gz GAAS/lib

  • control flow case to return from any page by page to boot!

    I need to use a link to the Image to the Master Page to go to the "Start Page". but when I use the case of flow of control do not work.
    How can I assign a case of flow of control in a master page?

    My version of djeveloper is 11.1.2.3

    You must define what you mean by the master page and the start page. There are two pages on the same stream of conversation?
    What do you mean by "navigation is not working? You get an error?

    Normally, you implement a wild-card navigation that points to the start page. This navigation that you use as the target for the link of the image.
    Please send your link to the image code.

  • Control flow Essbase

    Hello

    I am trying to build a business rule that will run when you save a form of planning.

    For functional reasons, the script code must be run if certain conditions are met (ie: Member of the page is to a descendant of a member)

    I checked the docs and exclusion orders could do the trick but I can't use it on business rules, and orders IF ELSE can only control the flow of the member formulas.

    If I was in control of flow of a sequence, then I could choose a different business rule to be run from a certain point, but there is no option for this as far as I know.

    I added a bit of code below to provide a good example of what I want to do, any ideas are welcome :)

  • Calc script FIX logical control flow?

    If I have 2 set of statements in a single calc script how essbase takes control of flow?

    example:

    FIX (1,2,3,4)

    CLEARDATA 5;

    ENDFIX;

    FIX (1,8,9)

    CLEARDATA 7;

    ENDFIX;

    He would first open the installment of the first fix entirely and goes to the next slice of fix? or would clearly be 1-5 first and 1 side-> 7 > and run the logic by circulating the loop b/w two corrections.

    It's maybe a stupid question, and I can miss something very basic.

    Thanks for any help.

    The first fix and clear would be run, and the other doesn't. The ExdFix is the terminator of each PATCH.
    You might have
    FIX (1,2,3,4)
    Calculation
    FIX (A, B, C)
    something
    ENDFIX
    ENDFIX

    that would include ABC in the process, but only for 1,2,3,4

    I must be missing something subtle here. Can someone comment please on what is the use case for the inclusion of this service, and specifically why is it not sufficient router? Why another way to make logical connection that is hidden in the diagram?

    Jyothi,

    Instead of dong with a box, have you tried just using the normal selection on the af: table? If you select a row in the table, by default, it must have a listener of selection which makes the selected row as the current row in the iterator - then, you can simply open the dialog box by using the same instance of the View object (I assume you are using ADF business components), and the selected line will be indicated.

  • control flow

    Howdy,

    I have several reports that contain a link to a page to data entry, page 73. I would like the user to return to the calling when page the button cancel or on apply changes is pressed. However, I can't get the right branches.

    I tried to create an article on page 73 called P73_CALLER, which is defined by the calling page. For example, the link on page 74, page 73 passes the value 74 in to P73_CALLER. Value 74 appears on the screen, but I can't seem to get the management of treatment after the cessation of see this value. He is perhaps cleared by the reset page process, which apparently is located before the branch. I thought I could make a branch for each calling page and the branch would be subordinated to the P73_CALLER have the page number of the calling page.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    [email protected]

    Hello

    There are two options I can think.

    Option 1: you can create an element of application rather than the page level item level. For example AI_CALLER (shared-> elements of Application components) and memorize the page number of the calling page here. This way when you are clearing the cache of the page, value of this object is not cleared.

    Option 2: rather than use 'Empty the Cache for all items on the page (PageID PageID, PageID)' use "Empty the Cache for items (DOT, DOT, DOT)" and then specify the items manually, whose value you want to delete.

    Kind regards

  • Where lives the logic for the types of flow control step?

    For most types of step, the behavior of the type of the step is determined entirely by the configuration of the stage - that is to say, the properties that can be configured in the window type, such as the properties of the step, steps, etc..  But as far as I know, the behavior of the control flow step types (for example, hop, back at the beginning of a block of loop after a late stage) does not seem to be defined by a lower level, flag, attribute or any other configuration item - it seems to be something inherent to the motor TestStand.

    If this is the case, how the TestStand engine knows to provide the functionality for a particular flow control step type?  It runs the appropriate logic based on the name of the step type?  I suspect that this may be the case, because if I create new types of step in copying the types of step ForEach and end without any changes other than to specify the new name for the beginning of the block and end step types, new types of step repeat not the loops as expected.

    Can someone clear this up for me?  Types of flow control step break the model completely define the features by changing the type of step, or I am simply not find relevant configuration items?  I tried to create a new type of end step that allows an expression pre, but it broke my step ForEach (new) type loopback functionality.  Is it possible to do what I want?

    You are right that the engine processes specially the flow control measures. He looks at the name of step type. If you want the same behavior execution, you must keep the original name of type step as a prefix on your step type name, such as NI_Flow_End_CustomizedByMe.

    Also, check out the http://forums.ni.com/t5/NI-TestStand/copy-of-NI-Flow-End-does-not-work/m-p/290170/highlight/true#M88...

    There is the source code that is similar to what the engine makes the steps of flow control. That was the actual code before it moved into the engine. It might be a bit outdated now. I found this on my machine in C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\TestStand 2010\Components\StepTypes\FlowControl\

  • Case of flow of control ADF Mobile followed of backing bean

    Hello

    I'm under JDeveloper 11.1.2.3.0.

    In my ADF Mobile application, I need to follow a flow of control from a bean to support case. In ADF I would do something like the following, FacesContext does not exist in the ADF Mobile, so I'm not sure how to proceed.

    private void onQueueC3ButtontAction() {}
    FacesContext fctx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();
    UIViewRoot root = fctx.getViewRoot ();
    RichCommandButton button =
    Root.findComponent ("cb3") (RichCommandButton);
    ActionEvent actionEvent = new ActionEvent (button);
    actionEvent.queue ();
    }

    Press the button, I need to:

    Execute the method of Service Web DC
    If result == "SUCCESS".
    PageFlowScope Set property
    Follow the case of control flow
    on the other
    Display error

    I can do everything above except follow the case of control flow. I am aware of the AdfmfContainerUtilities.gotoFeature (), but it is not suitable to my needs.

    Hello

    In ADF Mobile pro-grammatically navigate workflow in two ways:

    1 Javascript: In the JavaScript file, you can call this method directly to navigate. Below 'result' is the name of the case of control flow.

    adf.mf.api.amx.doNavigation("outcome");

    2. Java:

    //Code to naviagte within task flows programmatically
    AdfmfContainerUtilities.invokeContainerJavaScriptFunction(AdfmfJavaUtilities.getFeatureName(), "adf.mf.api.amx.doNavigation", new Object[] { "outcome" });
