  I have a question on the forum,

  Can apply you security for inbound ipsec traffic once it has been deciphered? I did some research and cannot come to this conclusion, with a LAN to LAN Vpn using ipsec allowed sysopt command bypass you all ACL audit (the access list incoming or conducted applied to the external interface) and cannot so apply any security to inbound traffic to your internal network via the VPN any VPN interface ends at. It is my understanding that instead of using the permitted sysopt command ipsec, you can allow protocol 50 (esp) in your firewall allowing traffic to reach the firewall and be decrypted BUT can you then apply any security to it? He will re-evaluate himself against the inbound ACL applied to the external interface?

  Your understanding is to a specific point. Once the packet is decrypted, it will reassess not himself against the acl entering applied outward whetther regardingless configuring acl or use sysopt. Thank you

  If the page has no definition of the pages behind, the application starts correctly because it does not need to check security for this page. The minute I create a page for the home page definition and set the permission for anonymous role, the failure message above rises.

• Active Directory virtualization - security for AD VMDK

  I'm an Active Directory server virtualization project manager. Currently, they are all physical, and my approach is to build virtual computers costs running 64-bit Windows 2003 R2 with sufficient storage space and disk. The actual creation of the VM is not a problem. But what is a problem for our security people and AD ops team is to protect the vmdk and associated files.

  The current VSI (Virtual Server Infrastructure) has each computer virtual using a LUN for the OS disk (c :)) drive and another logic unit number for the Page file/temp files.) Data files are also placed on a separate logical unit number. Now, the question arises since all virtual machines for a single blade (host ESX, BL685 HP) server are placed on the same logical unit number, there will be a mixture of files of the type of server (apps, SQLs, ads, etc.) in the data store. This means that C readers for all the virtual machines on this blade are running under the same security policy.

  If lock us the data store for the people of AD and other approved people, then the people to support normal ops (in another country) do not receive access to files. Only the AD team has right of ads and domain controllers, so I will try to reproduce this security model.

  So my idea is to have specific data only for ads stores; provide one for the C: drive (SysVol, etc.) and the other for Page files. Then I can lock these and let others to their current level of security.

  Does this sound logical? Feasible? Prefferable?

  That others make about it? Or is it overkill?

  My guess is that only the AD team would never start/stop/etc a virtual machine, then maybe that's possible.

  You can create a custom role on your permission vcenter and delegete for some users, who will not have access to certain virtual machines!

  I think I've stumbled on the answer to this problem, so I want to pass on to others who have a similar problem.

  My experience is that it is an intermittent problem, so I asked what I do from time to time which could be the cause of this difficulty. The answer is that I use a program called CC cleaner to clean the temporary files (that in theory I don't need). I found, after the execution of CC cleaner, I have re - export the configuration file (that I get the error message that is described in a previous publication) so that the Control Panel, then open correctly when I open C S 4.

  I immediately run CC cleaner and found he wanted to delete only a single group of files located in the following folder:

  C:\Documents and utilisateur\Application Flash application * of Settings\nom. *

  So, I asked "CC cleaner", in order to exclude this folder and everything what it (for deletion):

  Now, if I'm running CC cleaner to get rid of all my temporary Internet files and other temporary files, but this does not change the folder above, and so far the Control Panel opens properly in Photoshop.

  I don't use Windows "disk cleaner" so I'm not sure whether or not this cleanser is a potential problem. In any event, it is the Macromedia folder described above that is causing the problem.

  It is clear that Adobe Configurator uses Macromedia flash to do its thing, so I hope I have this problem in the long term.

  I am looking for a technology or method to use for our need for advances in Oracle e-Business Security. The requirement is to put the mask on the level of the database and process-specific data, so that the user unauthorizied will not be able to see them. In terms of database, a database developer should not see the value of the particular column by querying the database table. At the application level, after that the user is allowed with certain responsibilities and connect to the application, we want to be able to put the mask over certain areas if we do not have this user to see.
  
  I read the document Oracle database advanced security, I don't know if the Transparent data encryption can meet our requirement, because it did not mention application-level encryption.

  I'm not sure that there are ways of data mask, even to authorized users.

  Transparent encryption of data (TDE) only applies to data "at rest" - i.e. on disk. It decrypts the data when it is available. See http://blogs.oracle.com/stevenChan/2007/01/transparent_data_encryption_ce.html
