  I'm trying to understand how to configure a dedicated server of Dell R210 rented running VMware ESXi 5.1.0 build-799733

  This dedicated server is rented www.online.net and sits somewhere in France. One of its network adapters have an IP public 62.210.177.20x. The other NIC is here, but I do not understand how it is configured. According to the www.online.net portal, the other NETWORK card has or should have an IP 10.90.116.20x. And I am obviously set up is to have some virtual machines running and be able to access the Internet. I have access to the console of the server Dell through iDRAC and since I could see, one of the network adapters in the IP is 62.210.177.20x defined, and the other has been shown out of service. I managed to make it appear the other interface but I cannot find anywhere how to assign the IP address 10.90.116.20x to this 2^nd network adapter. But then again I don't even know if I should or if I need to assing a IP address to this 2^nd network adapter. What is the cable connected even for this 2^nd NIC? I do not know. Should it be - I'm not either. I don't know French and manuals/instructions on www.online.net are in French. I can try an online translator, but I don't think that what I'm looking for is explained. How do I get this set up? I have to do something about the ESXi on the server console? This interface 2^nd should be in place, or it must be down as if it was originally? Yesterday after watching someone videos on YouTube, I added the second virtual switch and moved the virtual hosts of this switch 2 and he entrusted the 2^nd NIC. • Report of guarantee with several duplicate entries

  I seem to have a problem with the warranty on my Dell OME installation status.  Previously, I was running version 1.2.0 and I started noticing multiple entries for servers with less than 90 days of warranty remaining.  Initially there was a writing by contract of service by the server, so I'm used to seeing 2 inputs for each server.  However, the problem gradually snowballed to the point where now I see a report of 90 day warranty list entries in 1345, when OME only communicates with 94 servers, with only 9 servers who have reached the 90-day expiry period.

  I performed the 1.2.1 update this morning, but the duplicate entries always appear in the report of the guarantee.  Using the troubleshooting tool, I am able to query the correct information of the API of warranty Dell, which leads me to believe that there may be some database entries that are not be cleaned.

  Any ideas on how to clean these duplicates?  Is there something I can try the web console of OpenManage Essentials?

  If you are uncomfortable with performing queries on your database directly (AFTER making a backup), you can use SQL Server Manager (free) and delete the entries in the table of coverage. The table is re-filled when the report is run. Use the following SQL to clean the table.

  Hello, I have problems with the PDF form entries. I'm a basic user, so please bear with me. I have to fill out an application which is a PDF form. When I fill in a field and then tab or a mouse to the next line down, it duplicates entries in all lines below. When I try to delete these dupes, it deletes all of them. I can't get into topics separated on any of these lines. This is the section where I have to enter the different schools I've attended. I don't know that I've lost you now. In addition, when you enter an X in a Yes / No box, if I choose 'Yes' on the one hand, it automatically inserts a X in the following boxes 'yes '.   I think that based on the b you provide, is that all these fields were of the same name by the form creator. If I'm right, there is nothing you can do except ask the author to correct his mistake.

  I noticed that for our guests (ESXi 5.0.0 build-504890) of ESXi historicalInterval PerformanceManager property is not set (e.g. NULL). that is, there is no statistics 'Last day' in terms of vSphere client.

  My guess - the parameter is basically ignored with a default installation.  ESXi don't include all the data, but only to pass his stats in real-time to vCenter.

  One time, I wrote on the extension of local performance on ESXi hosts data - http://www.vm-help.com/esx/esx3i/extending_performance_data.php.  With this method, you could get up to 36 hours of a locally stored data value.  I guess you could do it again with ESXi, in which case the setting would then get used.  Why it is there in the first place, I'm not sure.  I don't remember if early ESX version were able to store more data in real time on the spot.

  I used two techniques, as required:

  • Create snippets with all the content and use it on different subjects. This is useful in situations where topic title and name of the theme file must be different, but the content is the same. I use this for pages in different modules with different names but with the same functions.

  I tried desperately to understand why my Platespin Protect gives me "64-bit not supported" error when I try to configure a protect (P2V) work on my VMware ESX3i Version 3.5.0 (Build 123629) machine. The work will result in virtualization of an Exchange 2007 server (running on Windows 2003 Standard 64-BIT o/s).

  He seems to have only this problem with OS 64-bit like 32-bit of a well worked, i.e. the software is not complained when I virtualized server which has been W2003 32-bit Standard. Platespin guys think that it may be the version of VMware that I use and I hope someone here can confirm or deny this theory. Below captures the VMWare version and error of Platespin.   To avoid duplicate rows in a MySQL database, add a UNIQUE index
  the column you want to not allow entries double. You can

  I have a server ESXi 4.1 Build 260247. It has a controller Adaptec 5805Z with 2.7 TB RAID6 material. The ESXi is installed and running on a USB key. The server runs a lot and don't have any problem with the performance, but what I failed to note (after the creation and configuration of the 7 servers for an Exchange 2010 lab) is that the datatstore1 is only 740,75 GB. I looked everywhere in vSphere and online on how to access the rest of this storage. Under configuration > hardware > storage it shows the 'Adaptec disk Local (mpx.vmhba2:C0:T0:L0)", type = parallel SCSI disk to Transport, 2.73 Capasity TB.

  How can I access the additional storage on the disk? I certainly don't want to have to reinstall the LAB if I have to. Attempts to increase its size in the properties of the data store has failed. No error, that he just does nothing nothing found...

  

  

  Creating logical volumes on the RAID is a feature or function of the RAID controller, respectively the RAID controller software. Most RAID controllers authorize splitting of the RAID (unless it's a RAID level 0 x) in several logical volumes. You will need to check this for your RAID controller.

  You should probably migrate VMS off the coast of the current data of 750Go store and delete data store. Then, remove the current volume of 2.75 to logical and create a new logical volumes - maximum 2 TB - 512 bytes by using the controller BIOS or software RAID.
