Ethernet controller & adapter not recognized, even with drivers

I had installed a new hard drive and do a clean (no recovery cd) Win xp install on my R61.

There are a lot of tracks. which are not recognized, so I wanted to use the Thinkvantage system update to solve the problems, but the ethernet controller and adapter are not installed correctly.

I trye installation drivers I found on this page of lenovo:

http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-58618

But after I ran the installer, as instructions say, the material is still not recognized...

What can I do?

Here's your Ethernet driver:

http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/document.do?sitestyle=Lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-67829

After downloading, you must unpack it from the following directory: C > drivers > win > Ethernet

Wireless:

http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/document.do?sitestyle=Lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-70504

C > drivers > win > Wlanint

I hope this helps.

On the European driver Toshiba page, you will find the Realtek Lan driver and driver Intel Lan.
If Realtek doesn t work, then you need the Intel Lan driver.

  • Ethernet controller does not work on the Satellite L645D-S4030

Basically, I got my windows 7 reinstalled on my laptop due to virus... Now I have a problem with the Ethernet controller does not, I checked my device manager and there is a kind of yellow dash through the icon... Someone knows what is the problem and how can I solve this problem?

    BTW, I have a SATELLITE L645D-S4030

    Hey Buddy,

Hmm generally if you reinstall Toshiba Recovery disk Windows all drivers will be installed too because the disc contains a picture of the factory settings.
    Or you used another drive?

Yellow exclamation mark can mean that there is a driver problem and so it would be advisable to reinstall the LAN driver. Follow the link Timox. After the driver is installed, restart your computer and check again in Device Manager. The yellow exclamation point should normally be gone.

    Hello

First Ethernet controller is the same as a LAN = controller you need a LAN driver or / and more driver WLan.
Visit the page of the Toshiba driver and you will find the necessary drivers.

PS: I checked this site and have found these drivers.

  • Network controller is not recognized on Satellite A100 Windows XP

    Hi all!

I bought a Satellite A100 PSAAR and I did a clean install of Windows XP on it. I installed all the drivers in the correct order (downloaded from the support page) but I still have a problem:

Ethernet controller and network controller appear with a yellow exclamation point in Device Manager, and they are not recognized. I have downloaded the driver lan and I managed to do recognize the ethernet controller. However no matter how hard I tried, I can't find the correct driver for the NETWORK CONTROLLER, which still appears in Device Manager in yellow color.

I really could use any help here... Thank you in advance.

    Hello

Shouldn´t be a big problem to get some drivers for your machine's real lan. Just go here:

    http://www.Intel.com

and download the intel proset for ethernet controller. If you didn t already installed the wireless card, do so. Otherwise the other network controller could be the bluetooth adapter.

It would be nice to hear from you...

    See you soon

  • Ethernet controller - driver not installed - Compaq Presario

Hello, I'm new here so be gentle

I just bought second hand a Compaq Presario 6240EA, motherboard is a Compaq 07D0h.

In the hardware - device manager, it says "Other devices" - Ethernet controller, with a big yellow question mark and an exclamation point.

Details in the properties indicates the following: drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28)

    PCI\VEN_10DE & DEV_01C3 & SUBSYS_00A80E11 & REV_C2\3 & 13C0B0C5 & 0 & 20

I find the HP and Compaq sites for driver downloads and downloaded all of the nVidia drivers available on the Compaq site, including any improvement in the situation.

Is there somewhere else to look at, I'm at my wits end with this, any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello CherylG

  • Dynex DX-BUSB Wireless Adapter not recognized

I can't get my Dynex DX-BUSB wireless network adapter is recognized by Windows 7.  Windows recognizes it as a 802. 11 b / g adapter LP/SC of USBeless, but is unable to install the drivers.  I tried to install the original Dynex drivers, but it recognized without luck.  I guess because its pilots are old and currently not supported, looks like.  This computer, only way to get on Internet wireless adapter, I can't search online for drivers on this subject through Windows Update.  What should I do to get this card to work.  FYI, I'm using Windows 7 64 bit on a Pentium D 2.8 Ghz.

    Hey Wackysoft,.

I had the same problem this week and spent some time on the phone with Dynex.  They openly admitted that the DX-BUSB (as well as most of their other products) are currently problems of incompatibility with Windows 7.  They said they hope to have drivers available in the coming weeks.  Pretty miserable for those of us who do today on the internet.

    Good luck.

    Hello.

Today, I had this same problem with a d220 MT (in fact, I found this entry when you seek a solution ), and the fix was so simple it was embarrassing. The driver download sp25326.exe install just the installer. After you run it, you must go to c:\swsetup\sp25326 and run setup.exe. After that, your card should work. at least it worked for me.

    I hope this helps.

  • USB not recognized - even when there is no device at all (Windows 7, Pavilion dv7)

For a few days now, I get the message

"USB device not recognized: one of the USB devices attached to this computer is not working properly." The device has not been recognised "."

He keeps popping up in my right corner below, every 5 seconds if I don't click it. When I click on the message, I get a list of devices (ports) are available. There is an "unknown device". Maybe it has something to do with the (biometric) finger scan? This has not worked very well lately...

Even when there is no single USB device installed (normally, I have a mouse and a Targus laptop cooling mat installed as USB devices), it keeps popping up. I tried to remove the USB port from the list (or uninstall) in the remote control, but it seems that it keeps happening.

I got it all of a sudden, I have nothing specific to has not logged any strange devices (except for a spotlight on exit external screen, but this has nothing to do with USB). I also hear the sound for the connection / disconnection USB devics randomly when I'm on my laptop.

    Someone has an idea?

I have disabled the root hubs, figured out that we caused now my mouse and other USB physical led to no longer working and that was allowed again.

The one who gave the error message is now disabled and if the error message is no longer present.

Result: (built in) cyberlink youcam and biometric no longer work. But at least the annoying message disappeared, so I guess I can live with that.

  • USB stick not recognized even on other computers

    Hey-

A few days ago I plugged in (USB) flash drive of 512 MB on my desktop Dell (Windows Vista), and that bubble "USB device not recognized" come at the bottom of my screen. I tried to put in the other USB ports, ports on different computers and the same message appeared. This device seems not more in Device Manager (do not even like a disc without a name). This worked perfectly well before flash player. Is there a formatting problem that must be corrected in my USB key, or what is the problem?

    Hello

If the drive is not recognized at all then you cannot format it no more. Disks wear and/or
go wrong. Most manufacturers of Thumbdrive have Support FAQ, which 'could' help.

Make sure that your graphics card drivers are up to date.  In the case of ATI, use later.  In the case of nVidia, archived version 182 has proved to have the most success with the people here.
