Evaluation version so that NIVLM works well

NIVLM works well. Yet the local version of the Labview report (from today ' hui) that NIVLM is not found. and then they start in evaluation mode.

The license gives server monitoring: queries go to the license server (so no problems of network/firewall and things don't like that). port 27000 (by default) is used on the server license and the workstation.

It turns out, the Flexlm server never began. LM, however, never reported mistakes during the stopping or starting the Server/service. Which is to say about the Manager of NIVLM (2.1.1 in my case), it stopped and started without questioning or error or anything...

I know that this has been different in the past with previous versions.

When services OR FLEXLM (and then, in the old days) is not started correctly, the license NIVLM wouldn't start, and I would like to know where to look to find errors. It wasn't the case for my mistake. Today I watched in the FLEXLM debug log file a notice that an error because NEITHER supports asked me, otherwise I'd never thinking about it. Almost immediately, I noticed the error: nilm.exe has not been found.

so, which was quickly resolved!

    Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

    Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest desktop version of Firefox from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ and save the file to install it on your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.

    Been trying experience with various functions such as using blending modes, the required (from my old Serif program) some copying and pasting.

    I'm confused why copy it, paste and other functions are greyed out.

  • TC and AE cable network works well, but some settings seem odd

    I was stumped by this for some time.  Despite the fact that everything works well, a setting on my TC seems inconsistent with what would be expected.  Here is a summary of my network:

    1 modem of the IAF was WIFI and DHCP active off the COAST, and it connects to the TC with ethernet.  The IP address is 192.168.1.1.

    2 TC reportedly made all DHCP and NAT functions and peripheral PSI is simply a relay for the incoming connection to broadband.  IP address is 192.168.1.2, ethernet and it is connected using static.

    3 AE network extends the network.  IP address is 192.168.1.3, ethernet, connected using static.

    4 Apple TV 4 does its thing.  192.168.1.4, ethernet static IP address.

    5. I have DHCP reservations for Beach 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.10 for these devices, as well as the rest - iMac and MacBook Pro, ethernet, static.

    6 DHCP set temperature 192.168.1.11 to 192.168.1.200 for mobile devices.

    The TC acts as the hub for all the rest and that is why he would hold DHCP and NAT functions, these are disabled on device of the ISP.  However, for my life, I can't not DHCP and NAT to work as router Mode.  DHCP is the only one that works.  I certainly do not have an IP given by the ISP, and there is nothing to indicate that it performs NAT functions.  If I try to change the DHCPand NAT router Mode, I get errors that there is a conflict and that the range is incorrect.  Conflicts of DHCP-range for the base station WAN address.

    NAT is handled by the device of the ISP that you call the 'modem'... but this is very probably a device modem/router or gateway... that despite what you think, does not as a simple modem.

    If it were, it must provide a public IP address of the time Capsule and instead provides a private IP address (192.168.1.2) of the time Capsule.

    A public IP address cannot start with 192.x, 172.x or 10.x

    When you have your modem/router configured properly as a simple modem... then... you will be able to configure the time Capsule as the main router to your network using the DHCP and NAT correct setting, without seeing errors like Double NAT or incompatible IP address range.

    Some modems/routers and gateways can be configured to operate as a simple modem, and some may not. If your modem/router provided by your ISP, you may need to check with them to see if the device can be configured to operate as a mode modem simple bridge, providing a public IP address unique to the time Capsule.

    Moreover, when the Capsule is configured as a router, the default IP address range that he uses is 10.0.1.x.  The Capsule will be 10.0.1.1 on the LAN and devices will be at 10.0.1.x.

  • Have just been told by BT that I need a new/different version of Thunderbird to work with the new system BTMail (previously BTYahooMail) - I do?

    I have btinternet email for years and Thunderbird for too long and have been happy with both. Unfortunately, I'm not technical enough to understand the majority of assistance or instructions on the information pages of support technique/Thunderbird, but haven't managed to get TB put in place in the first place (long time) and it seems to have worked well since. However, on Friday both of my accounts to BT (sets of two numbers), so two BT email addresses have been moved new old BT Yahoo mail BT mail. I was unable to connect to one of them, but the other was very good - I have had help 'screen sharing' a technical chap BT to sort. However, he was able to Conect Thunderbird with email servers. I said to BT and the chap tech tried to sort on screen sharing, but could not (and I have been unable to follow what he was doing). A few months ago, I made a few changes, as requested by BT, to allow for the transfer to go smoothly (!), but the man has changed some things Friday, I think, as well. He could not solve the problem of TB and I can't figure it out at all, and the Lady of BT Tech help to whom I spoke this morning (and who had managed to fix my problem of connection BTID, fortunately) had a look and suggested that maybe I needed an update/new/different version TB or 'another email address. Well, I really want to stay with Thunderbird and was hoping that someone here could explain it in simple English for me, please? I was wondering what will happen, assuming that I need to download an updated version / different, if I did this and then sort of re-installed my existing BT email addresses (as if I started again with Thunderbird)? I hope that there is someone here who can help you - thank you - I'm rather fond of this little blue bird. Thank you.

    I was pulling my hair re the incompatibility of iCloud and Outlook of Office 365 2016.  I finally got things to work on three of my computers - which are on the latest version of Windows 10.

    The steps that worked for me:

    (1) uninstall the plugin iCloud (what version you have); the uninstall may fail but if so don't worry as step 3 below overlays some iCloud plugin version you have installed

    (2) open the Control Panel, uninstall, change/repair Office 365; Select fast repair

    (3) reinstall iCloud plugin (version 5.1), then restart the system by following the instructions

    (4) after the reboot, plug in iCloud application Apple ID and password; Make sure that you enter your apple with the suffix icloud.com ID (e.g., [email protected])

    (5) check the iCloud options to your will (e.g., photo synch, synchronization of bookmarks, sync mail/calendar, etc.)

    (6) check apply it, leave the work plugin iCloud for a minute, when he finishes, check the closing

    (7) open Outlook 2016 and check your calendar or contacts or anything that you indicated in step 5, that you want to synchronize with iCloud.com
