Even if I have to many Add-ons, only present in my module bar (Adblock Plus). I use Firefox 18.0.1.

Here are two ways I tried to solve the problem, but not avail, unfortunately:

Files deleted from my profile as shown on a mozilla support Web site and restarted firefox folder.

With the help of Revo Unistaller is a deep uninstall (not only removes all the firefox program files but also some registry entries, the user prefs etc), rebooted the machine. Downloaded and installed Mozilla 18.0.1 and added all add-ons that I use mainly. I also tried to use the classic theme of the compact, but back to default to try to solve this problem.

Not all extension place buttons on a toolbar.

Some extensions add entries to the main menu and others for the context menu appearing when it applies to the situation.

Are what extensions you referring that not displayed?

Alternatively, you can check for problems with the file localstore.rdf.

Many Add-ons appeared as not verified after FF43 update. I used them for a long time and they were perfectly fine with previous versions of FF. How can I continue to use? Even the dictionary with my local language and the DAP are unverified. How can I use external modules installed, rather than the site of Mozilla, like DAP add-on for example, that came with the installation of DAP again? Button of Pinterest coming Pinterest site also does not work.

My suggestion is to add unverified option Add-ons for could be enabled too also manually by the user. With the adequate warning that this is recommended for users experienced.

I don't mind provide your comments because it would probably unnecessary as "feedback". Just, let me remind that users - their number and their satisfaction - is it that help a browser to be at the top. When I switched from IE to FF, it was because FF satisfies me a lot more, and it has been and still is the best browser imho. But nothing is constant, even the love of fans hardliners like me, and who are one thing is constant could only make a mistake.

PS. I suggested something, but not to appear that I run from the problem.

Firefox 4 is unable to install add-ons. After download the 'installation' bar stuck in the beginning and never ends.
After that I updated to 3.6, FF4 to see any of my previous modules.
When you try to install the new, I see no error dialog box or message, just install bar is not going anywhere.

To anyone out there yet with this issue.
The solution that worked for me was to create a new user profile.
Give it a try, if it works you can just move your settings and other things more.

  • Spin the ball of death, have checked all add-ons

Hi, use Firefox 40.0.2 on a Macbook Air the ball of spinning of death all the time recently and have only on Firefox... other browsers are ok. When I disabled all add-ons, the spinning ball will stop. When I laboriously disabled and tested one at a time, the ball turns never went away. How is that possible? Is there anything that I think not or anything else I can try? Here are the screenshots of all my Add-ons. Thank you!!

Maybe it's time to try refresh (called "Reset" in older versions of Firefox) which can resolve many issues by restoring Firefox as his default from factory and save your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.

Note: When you use this feature, you will lose all the extensions, toolbar customizations, and certain preferences. See article Firefox Refresh - reset modules and parameters for more information.

    Refresh for Firefox:

    1. Open the troubleshooting information page using one of the following methods:

      • Click the menu button

        click Help

and select troubleshooting information. Should open a new tab containing your troubleshooting information.

      • If you are unable to access the Help menu, type Subject: support in your address bar to bring up the troubleshooting information page.
    2. At the top right of the page, you should see a button that says 'Refresh Firefox' ('reset Firefox' in older versions of Firefox). Click on it.
    3. Firefox closes. Once the update process is complete, Firefox will display a window with the imported information.
    4. Click Finish and reopen Firefox.

Before updating, you might want to take note of your Add ons that will be deleted.

  • My diappeared of taskbar background in FF29! I have the buttons Add ons it and now can't use them!

After the FF29, I lost my theme that doesn't make me happy, but I've accepted it. But lately I have say the taskbar background integer disappeared and I couldn't see modules line Add-Block +, adds ot Twitter, check the links, Quick Translator Page. How can I make it appear again?

It happened at work, until I can't find an acceptable solution I will not upgrade to FF29 home.

I understand what you are going through. I lost all my Add ons, when I've updated also. I only use Lightbeam and Firebug was not a big deal. I don't know why this update acted as a new facility, but he did. Basically, you'll have to find the Add-ons and re-install them. Many people do not know this so I'll tell you just to be sure. The Firefox button is always there that she has just a different look and location. This is the icon with three horizontal lines at the top right. From there on, it is no different. Hope that you can find every thing.

The new default browser is called ask.com and it showed up after I installed a program to download faster. I uninstalled the new program from my computer and add0ons, but it is still throw me back to new default browser even after I installed firefox four times. It's irriating and it just doesn't seem to go away. How can I get rid of him without losing bookmarks and information?

You can use the SearchReset extension to reset preferences to default values.

Note that the SearchReset extension runs only once and then uninstalls automatically, so it will not appear on the page "> Firefox Add-ons" (topic: addons).

  • I have downloaded the add ons - keylogger 1.5, made a computer restart, but I can't see it and can't use it.

The download process gave the name of 'play music' for this add-on.

Playing music is the name of the developer of this extension to identify this extension in Firefox. Mozilla does not allow add-ons to be hidden from view in the tab of the Add-ons Manager, so a little bit of subterfuge is used to hide this extension of "prying".

  • Firefox does not recognize that I have already installed add-ons (guests to install Add - ons I've already installed AND enabled). Why?

Modules, which are updated already installed and running (and have been for awhile), seem to think that they are not added. Looking at my modules in the Tools menu, they are listed as enabled. However, clicking to access their information page on the web (where you can read reviews, and where you initially chose to add them to Firefox), the "Add to firefox" button is available. (As opposed to some kind of "already installed" or button "Uninstall" or "Reinstall") I tried the button to see if pressing him THEN told me 'you have this', but it does not! He started to download the plug-in, I already have! What is going on?

Hello Amsuko, the "+ add to Firefox" button on addons.mozilla.org and similar sites is just a normal static element on the website. Web sites do not have the ability to query what extensions a user has already installed (it would probably be considered as a violation of privacy / security). When you install an add-on that is already present on your system, it will simply not be replaced...

I was not able to find out what my quota is supposed to be. (There is a way to limit the number of days I want messages that should stand, but I've never used). I have several folders for messages, but when I tried to transfer some of the messages to those (messages I had to record), I've always had the memo "Inbox is full." The message also said that I could compact the Inbox, but I don't know how to do, either. I've always been happy with Mozilla, but I need your good help!

Deleting messages only marks them for deletion and mask them. The space is not released until you compact the folder. You compact individual records by clicking on the folder and select folder Compact or you compact all folders by selecting the Compact on the file menu.

Hello, this looks like a problem possibly caused by malicious software on your pc. Please go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.). also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

This can also be a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

Delete the files (extensions.sqlite, extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created if necessary.

FF was loading very slow for me lately, and I think that may be too many Add ons, but I don't know which ones is necessary and those that are not. Thanks for any advice.

The images are of your plugins and you have only 13 of the images, but you have either deleted or disabled some of them as only 10 are in plug-ins installed at the bottom of your post. not a large number.

    What your extensions?

There may be many reasons for any slow application at startup. Without more information, or to be in front of your system, it is difficult to diagnose. 2 suggestions below.

    Firefox Safe Mode
You may need to use questions Troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode (click on "Safe Mode" and reading) to locate the problem. Firefox Safe mode is a diagnostic mode that disables Extensions and some other features of Firefox. If you are using a theme, place you in the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > Themes before start Safe Mode. When you enter Safe Mode, do not check all the items in the window, just click "continue mode without failure." A test to see if the problem you are experiencing is fixed.

    See:
Troubleshoot extensions, themes, and issues of hardware acceleration to resolve common problems of Firefox
Solve problems with plugins like Flash or Java to solve the common problems of Firefox
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems in Firefox

If the problem does not occur in mode without failure, then disable all your Extensions and Plug-ins, and then try to find out who is causing by allowing both the problem reappears. You MUST close and restart Firefox after EACH change via file > restart Firefox (on Mac: Firefox > Quit). You can use 'Disable all add-ons' on the start safe mode window.

    Malware scan
Install, update and run these programs in this order. They are provided free for personal use, but some have limited functionality in "free" mode, but those are features that you don't really need to find and eliminate the problem that you have. (Not all programs detect the malware even.)

  • -Add-ons hidden in Firefox 12.0 beta update

After looking through the forums, it appears to be identical to the question regarding an update to Firefox 7. However, all the tools to bring the Add-ons have been taken down as the problem has been fixed in 7.0.1.

Is there a way to solve this problem in Firefox 12? All my modules seem to work fine (NoScript, TMP, etc.) and I can even access the prefs for those who put a link in the Tools menu or I placed on the address bar via a button. But they do not appear in the topic: the Add-ons window that reports that "you have installed such Add-ons."

It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.

Delete the files (extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created if necessary.

    See "extension corrupted files:

If you see disabled extensions, is not compatible, in "tools > Modules > Extensions ' and then click the Tools button, on the left side of the search bar (or click on the"Find updates"button in older versions of Firefox) to do a check of compatibility or to see if there is an available update compatibility.

  • Firefox ask me to install add ons evertime the opening... I disabled all of the updates.

now I use the latest version of Firefox (10.0). AprΦs the dΘmarrage, I open the Firefox browser. He always asks me to install the Add-ons that is already, I added to the browser.

    Ex:

I installed the firebug add-on. When I open a browser he asks me to install firebug again. After installing the browser must be restarted to activate firebug

So please reply me for this problem

    My guess:

You get a prompt to confirm what modules you have installed. There used to be a problem with other programs to install add-ons without your permission, and so many people knew they had these add-ons installed. Sometimes, these modules caused Firefox slow or unstable. However, there are some cases where people are aware of these modules being installed by third parties and they really want.

So in a Firefox update has a few months ago, a single confirmation prompt was added to ensure that you are aware of all add-ons that are already installed and allow you to select those that you want to keep.

Here is a blog about the feature: http://blog.mozilla.com/addons/2011/08/11/strengthening-user-control-of-add-ons/
