  My application designed to block the screen capture. It is based on the events of keyboard hook.

  In Windows 8 my callback function is not called, when the monitor of the task is in short.

  I save my callback function with:

  lowLevelKybdHook_ = SetWindowsHookEx ( WH_KEYBOARD_LL, (HOOKPROC): MyCallbackFunction, hInstance, 0);

  It works perfectly in Windows 7 for all cases.

  Windows 8:

  -He works when the monitor of the task is not open.

  -It works, when Task Monitor is opened, not to the point.

  -It does NOT works when the monitor task in short, i.e. my callback function is not called when the task to monitor is the currently selected window.

  -Continue to work (to be called), when the monitor of the task is not to the point.

  I tried to use RegisterHotKey instead SetWindowsHookEx, it has the same effect.

  Any idea?

• IPS sensor - Event Notification by e-mail?

  Good day to all.

  I was asked to recreate some features after he lost the customer improved VMS to the CSM but without CS-MARCH or any other event monitor. The user has had the system to generate an email when an event was triggered. He was apparently noisy initially but after setting wasn't a bad solution.   Now, however, since the CSM has not received the event data is it possible to recreate this process of "notification"?

  Are using CSM 3.02 and the sensors are still at 5.14. The sensors will be updated to 5.17 later today. I will then either be upgrading the client to the latest revisions and service to CSM or rolling packs to the VMS depending on whether I can get notifications to work with MSC.

  NOTE: They order a CS-MARS appliance with the conviction that it will solve the problem, but as the last word, it will be several months at least before they could get it. I'm afraid that CS-MARS will NOT give back them this feature. Can you confirm/deny?

  Finally - CSM does not include a security monitor, as did virtual machines, and CS-MARS not really recreate that kind of view or the management of the events - what solutions are there to reproduce the functionality of the Security Monitor? Are there? Is-CS-MARS the new bully on the block?

  Since the client is to stay at a 5.1 version, then you have 3 options:

  1) down to virtual machines and continue to use the Security Monitor

  2) stay with the CSM and buy CS-MARCH for the monitoring of events. CS-MARS should provide the ability to e-mail notification.

  3) stay with the CSM and installing and using VEI 5.2 (1).

  VEI 5.2 (1) can be installed either on a separate machine from the CSM as a stand-alone utility:

  VEI 5.2 (1) contains the new alerts e-mail notification feature.

  What is the difference of these initiators of two stop? I mean when they start the shutdown process?

  Not a lot of people in the research or interested in this subject, however I think I found an answer for this.

  I did a little research and found:

  1. a stop initiated by the call to an API such as ExitWindowsEx() or InitiateSystemShutdown().

  2. for ExitWindowsEx(); CSRSS acting on behalf of the calling process and simply to send a window message to a window owned by the WINLOGON. EXE process for the current session to simulate the interactive user, choosing the equivalent action in the WINLOGON user interface. So in the case of ExitWindowsEx() being called to initialize a stop, a message window is sent to the WINLOGON process for this session, which requires a stop and WINLOGON behaves that point everything as if the stop was requested through its user interface.

  - And this is the reason why, when we see stop triggered by Winlogon.exe.

• View event processing

  I don't get treatment at work of the event to view. I looked through most of the documentation for Flex 2 and Flex 3 and many of the Flex books to try to get this working. I am just trying to have a vision to create an event with additional information, go to another view that intercepts and then uses the event information. My simple exploratory code is:

  The event is started in View1 and treated but is not picked up in VIEW2. I see that the listener in View2 is loaded, but nothing don't get going in VIEW2 began in View1.   I think I found the missing piece. The event spreads upward from the original view, it only goes to the application tree. Do not only none of the lower branches of the tree. 2 points of view were on parallel branches and so the 2nd view has never responded to the event. The solution is a receiver be respond to the event top of 1st who will carry out the intervention in the 2nd view. In my case, the parent of View1 and VIEW2 are the same. A parent listen View1 event and respond by calling routine appropriate in VIEW2.

  Simple concept, but I missed all the reading.

• Satellite Pro A300 - how to fix Storage Manager?

  I accidentally deleted Intel Matrix Storage Event Monitor from my list of startup., it's a good utility, since it will inform me on the hard drive problems.

  I tried to uninstall and then reinstall the package Intel Matrix Storage Manager (downloaded drivers from Toshiba Support), but I have not had any results, do not have this program at startup.

  Can you give any suggestions, how to completely uninstall this package, so that I could perform the new installation of the package?

  Akuma wrote, all processes are needed, such as Conexant sound, Support Button and Flash cards for FN keys and illumination.

  Don t do worry about these programs, everything is ok and that they are necessary for your laptop.

  If you want to improve performance, disable other programs you don't need and defragment your HARD drive at any time.

  You can disable it. If your mobile phone does not support the multimedia buttons then this tool is useless.

  I don't know what would make this process, but you can disable this in msconfig-> tab start Mr. If it would take in the future, then you could turn it on again.

• Stopping the engine Service Variable OR in Windows 7 64 bit

  I configured puts some Boolean and Out entries and an analog input (Double) for monitoring purposes. I use a server OPC Mitsubishi with Labview 2009. (It worked great for over a year)

  When I delopy the Variable Libray it works very well for about 1 minutes, then NI Variable Engine Service STOPS. (As shown in the Attached files)

  But if I remove the analog input, the Variable does not stop and works very well.

  In the first attempt I stretched the Labview and 2nd attempt re-installed Labivew 2009 as well as Windows but still the same problem.

  If his problem installing then why it works for Boolean types

  Windows event monitor has additional information as to why the service stopped? If you create a new project with a library of double of accommodation and Boolean variables which also stops after a minute?

  Also can you us more info on the double in question. Is this a normal SV or is it bound to an OPC tag? If unbind you it the EVS will remain after a minute?

• Producer/consumer vs Master/Slave of data loss

  Hello users of Labview,.

  I did experiment with vs p / M/S lately in the context of data aquistion. Many messages did appear (correct me if I'm wrong) that p/c is the correct architecture to if the data retention is desired, so that's what I tried to implement.

  In the loop of producer, I've included 3 Assistant DAQ VIs (2AO, 1 HAVE), which generates data actively and which is being queued. I have 3 other loops of consumers, two of which are consumer 1) written loops of 2) outputs TDMS data of a chart 3) no producer: structure of the event, monitors changes to the user interface.

  When I run data acquisition, the generated file are always half either acquire the half of the sample that I've specified regardless of the sampling rate. I also have a strange displayed graph (see image).

  However,.

  If I replace with a master/slave architecture, this seems to solve the problem.

  So question is: anyone met with this kind of problems? Are there disadvantages to stick with M/S instead of p/c in terms of data loss?

  The first thing you want to try is the following. Press Ctrl + ESC, and then type "services.msc" in the search box. In the services window scroll down until you find the 'Intel Matrix Storage Event Monitor"and then right click and press"stop "button if already, it is not stopped and then do the same thing and click on 'start '.

  Something to consider, however, if you are running a RAID, this service configuration is completely useless and should not be restarted, and can be removed. The program that launches the service should be in programs and features such as "Intel Matrix Storage Manager"

• HP Officejet 6500 E710n-z is desktop running Windows 7 USB. I'm XP Pro can 't find printer '.

  I downloaded network diagnostic utility. When I run it it doesn't let me go beyond to find the printer. He wants to be hung with ethernet cable that ain' will happen. The printer is hooked up to a Dell desktop running Windows 7 is my wife. It works, I'm not playing with this end. fear? Not only needless pain so I don't understand where it doesn't. While I hit the print button 2 or three times more. This thing was spit out pages of stuff half done half a day later. Price of the Photo book made me he USB wire.  I blamed it on slow internet.  If we get 20 k, you are having a good day. My apoligies in advance at Leroy and Cush line DSL. It's all water over the dam, but I am not happy so far. I'm tired and my eyes is burned ash reading web pages and I don't always know what to do. I typed all the combinations of computer names, network names, ip addresses in each place I know to do and I can't get XP to recognize. I had a program called hack that I will attach a copy. It means little to me, but more knowledgeable people understand. If anyone can help I would know you more. I have been using flash drives for my impressions, but it would be nice to be able to print a page or two from time to time.

  If the printer is connected USB to the Windows 7 computer, what you can do is share the network (assuming that the XP computer is also connected to the same network). In this way the XP machine can see the printer on Windows 7 computer and install it. The only downside is that the Windows 7 computer must be on for the XP computer can view and print to it. • Unknown folder guard re-appearance

  I am running Win 7 on my computer, and I keep finding on an unknown folder on the C drive when displaying the list of folders in Explorer - called "GrandeDevice". If I deleted the folder and it's content, it is reinserted in about 20 minutes. How to follow that program creates the folder? I ran several anti anti-virus programs, but they found no virus.

• SSM-40 IPS inspects traffic

  I have an asa 5520 with AIP-SSM-40

  I did the configuration of basic on the MSS and I was ok until I decided to forward traffic to IPS.

  I use the service on ASA-> Firewall-> rules of policy strategy and add a rule for IPS

  the rule has been added to the policy of Global Service with custom ACL.

  After that I enabled the interface on vs0 and this is my configuration

  now the problem is: I don't have any (log in real time) newspaper in IME

  I think that my IP is not working properly.

  Can you try to enable Signatures for:

  -GIS ICMP Id: 2000-2004 on IPS

  -Define the event Action as products alert

  -Try to pass by IPS ICMP traffic and see if events cause.

  Check also on the EMI:

  -If you have selected the name of sensor in the event Monitoring (right most side)

  -Try to remove the threat of note (if no display)

  -Select the time in real-time and apply them.
