Microsoft Solitaire problem daily challenges with Klondike on July 19, 2014
The expert level Microsoft lonely daily challenge for July 19, 2014 has a glitch. The goal of the challenge of the Klondike is to place two jacks on the Foundation within 85 shots, but the counter above is registered not when plugs are on the Foundation at all. I've never met a problem before with Microsoft Solitaire daily challenges, and there I am working on Windows 8 on a HP Pavilion.
Managed to find a machine 8.1 to play on, and it worked, so I guess that's the issue. [Maybe a new version of the app?]

Sound/audio does not work after automatic update of Windows 8 for the July 12, 2014
Solving audio problems do not detect a problem.
When I go to the control panel > hardware & sound > playback, right-click on the device, I get this message:
"This device is used by another application. Please close all devices... "
However, I restarted the laptop with no other applications running and I still get the above message.
It must be linked to the recent update of W8 for 2 days ago that my audio has always worked fine until here. Without having to reinstall all the software, what I can do, as I have not changed anything other than subscribe to automatic update of Windows? (It makes me want to stop the update btw, if the updates affect the normal performance of my laptop).
A new update for Windows 8 rises to fix this audio problem?

It worked for me, you can't find it on your hard drive, you must go to > Control Panel > programs > programs and features-> installed updates. under the microsoft windows list, locate those added on July 12, 2014. RightClick > uninstall the "update for Microsoft Windows (KB2962407)" (let others, simply uninstall it) it invite you to reboot, and you should have sound after reboot. "

Windows 8 Microsoft Solitaire Tripeaks of Collection does not
This game is no longer on my computer. It adds no offers when I take a surfboard; and I can not get high scores. Anyone else has this problem or does anyone know how to get help with this?
I have the same question not added on when games I win a part, I did both of the methods listed above, I had made a change in the settings but it was just too cut the sound in the game. but I turned them back and just cut the sound. Also, I get a pop up now wanting to know if I want to add a play to the game which I guess means that I pay to lose another game.

Microsoft Flight.Can't connect to the flight MS Server
I played with MS Flight on my Windows 7 computer for more than a year, and yesterday, I signed in and discovered that everything works except Aerocache. I get the message "unable to connect to the server of flight."
I uninstalled the flight and then reinstalled, but the problem persists.
I have other games such as Train Simulator 2015, Sail Simulator and no connection problem with their servers, so I figure it takes the message tells me "unable to connect with the Server MS Flight.
Any ideas why all of a sudden this happened and how to fix the problem.

Here is a quote from Wikipedia. He explains why nobody can connect to the servers MS Flight longer. I know, it sucks, but at least you can still play solo. Just no multiplayer or aerocaches more. :(

I found a possible bug in Solitaire Collection. Specifically, when playing 'Daily Challenges' and choose the Klondike, sometimes the game is not counting cards correctly. Here are two screenshots.
The first screenshot (from daily challenges of July 19, 2014) shows a game that requires to 2 Sockets to the Foundation. Indeed two sockets are set, but the number of "Jacks" sucks!
The second screenshot (from daily challenges of July 28, 2014) shows a game that requires 2 eight to the Foundation. Indeed two eights are put, but once again have the "eight" is zero!
Therefore, it is impossible to complete the challenges. Please tell if this indeed is a bug and how it relate properly so that it sets. It happens quite rarely - it's happened only twice in July.

Recently I received two calls from people who say they work for windows saying that something is wrong with my computer. The first guy ended up trying to sell me a package of protection. The second guy who never had until now because I did not. The question is this. Microsoft has employees or contractors call peoples houses and make repair unsolicited requests? This question is not to accuse Microsoft anything, but is designed to help me decide if these calls come from someone with no connection to Microsoft trying to take advantage of me. Thank you.

Photoshop 2014 (Win7) crashes when you save large files

A new user in our design Department has problems with its Photoshop 2014 frequently crashing when saving large files.
It runs on a new brand PC (Windows 7 x 86), which has all the latest drivers for hardware and Windows updates. CC Adobe indicates that no update is available for Photoshop.
After installation of the product, I'm not particularly familiar with Photoshop, so apologies if it is a common/known issue that I'm not aware of.
I don't think it's a hardware problem as only Photoshop is having these issues (the user is also AutoCAD 2014, which works perfectly). However, I ran Memtest 86 + all night, who reported no errors.
Here is a typical crash report and also a copy/paste info from System. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be grateful.

No offense, but for any PS works by today's standards, what you have here is simply not enough. The registration process fails probably simply run out of memory during the generation of the preview or other operation. Unless you add more RAM and get the 64 bit, your problems probably will not disappear, and I would like to same thing working with ACAD on such a system is not particularly nice, considering the amount of RAM it uses to load its libraries and a few other things...

Posted on July 5, 2014... I am trying to view images on uspto.gov [ed. fixed tld] Web site (US patent office). I can view the text of a patent, but not the images (drawings of patents). I have a Tablet mobile samsung galaxy 10.1 note 2014 edition.
The patent office uses a PDF file without a download link. There is no plugin Adobe Reader for Android. If I don't have a work around.
- install pdf.js
- you will then be able to access the data of patent image
- I found this method to be a bit unstable, you can download the pdf file using the button in the extension (see attachment)
